Why All for One is Izuku’s Father part 10 — The Return of the Gloop Warp Quirk
Good to know the details of the gloop quirk haven’t been forgotten.
From chapter 408:
Tumblr media
And from chapter 90:
Tumblr media
All Might is with All for One.
Shigaraki is with Izuku Midoriya.
“All I can do is bring things to me or send them away from me.”
“The destination has to be a person… one I’m well acquainted with.” This is a complete confirmation that All for One is Hisaishi Midoriya, Izuku’s Father. In addition, how else could All for One be acquainted with Izuku—other than as his parent?
In my opinion, this quirk sounds so familiarly. Almost loving, as sending something to and from a family member — ‘it’s a been a long time since I’ve last saw you.’ (The meaning of the name ‘Hisaishi’).
Looks like we’re getting that Dad for One reveal soon.

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father pt. 9 — Izuku is Foreshadowed to be the Next All for One (Updated)
“Can the child do it, I wonder?” I’ll let him do all the work so that he can become the next “me”! That child was born warped enough to do so.
Dissect this phrase first: “I’ll let him do all the work.”
Tumblr media
All for One implies that Izuku has chosen a path that is hardworking, struggling, and thorny: “The path you’ve chosen is a thorny one. Every battle grinds away at your soul with no end in sight.” In other words, a lot of hard work (blood, sweat, effort, heavy lifting, and tears) are on the path Izuku’s chosen since the beginning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All for One: I’ll let him do all the hard work so that he can become the next “me”!
Tumblr media
All for One’s secret plan has always been to make Izuku into the next All for One. He’s next—or, in other words, it’s his turn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Corrupted by @dookoa
Tumblr media
Bonus: In Chapter 287, consider what Yoichi (the first holder of One for All) said to his brother, All for One: “So, is he the next in line, brother?”
Next. The next All for One. Clearly, despite the little that the audience knows of All for One, there’s more to his lore.
After all, what did Yoichi mean when he asked if “he was the next in line”? As if All for One has done this before.
IMO: I believe All for One will make Izuku into the next “All for One” (whatever this means) in order to unite AND gain the quirk One for All once and for all. As mentioned in a previous post, the quirk All for One is unable to take One for All (even if Shigaraki has it). As mentioned in a previous post, Shigaraki is a Red Herring, meant to distract from who All for One truly wants to inherit his legacy and title: Izuku Midoriya. As mentioned in a previous post, it’s mentioned that the quirk All for One grows stronger, more impure, and more corrupt with each generation—what if All for One has been purposely making his quirk stronger by an unknown means for the purpose of finally being strong enough to take the quirk One for All back? To make the quirk All for One finally limitless in potential?

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father — part 1
Part 1 – “Izuku Midoriya is All for One’s true successor (the next All for One)”
In chapter 59:
“Wonder if “the kid” can do it.” Or in some translations, “Can the child do it, I wonder?”
Tumblr media
“That child was born warped enough to do so.”
Tumblr media
Shigaraki is 20 years old, not a child/kid.
Tumblr media
“I’ll let him do all the hard work so that he can become the next “me”!”
This popular technique is called a Red Herring. It means to redirect the audience’s attention onto a likely/popular topic in order to hide the true answer/truth. In this case, All for One’s hand over Shigaraki’s image and Shigaraki being All for One’s student is the Red Herring—to take our attention away from his intended target, Izuku Midoriya.
(Personal opinion: when All for One says “that child was born” it sounds like a dad would say that.) There are two roles with different people:
1. “Shigaraki Tomura, his position is to unify and supervise them!”
2. Can the child do it, I wonder? “I’ll let him do all the hard work so that he can become the next “me”!” That child was born warped enough to do so. — Izuku Midoriya
3. Can the child do it, I wonder? That child was born warped enough to do so.

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father part 8 — “The face reveal of All for One/Hisaishi Midoriya from MHA Ch. 336”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
IMO, he looks, indeed, like he could be the father to Izuku Midoriya. Like he’s a grown-up version of Izuku. The hair is just shorter, but still unruly and in the exact same style as Izuku’s — also, it’s shaded white and grayish silver while Izuku’s is green and black. Keep in mind that Izuku has NEVER seen the face of All for One; but he does know (or should know?) what Hisaishi Midoriya looks like. Imagine this confrontation coming up…

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father — part 7
“The Inherited All for One Quirk”
This is a short one. It’s mentioned that the quirk “All for One” grows more impure, ambiguous, and powerful (corrupt, ambitious, and impure—depending on the translation) with each generation.
Tumblr media
After all, why mention that “All for One” grows more powerful with each generation if All for One was its only holder? Unless... it was passed on to Izuku.
So an inherited version within Izuku could likely be enough to slowly corrupt, persuade, and degrade Izuku into All-for-One-level villainy; saving everyone by being their “Symbol of Peace and Evil”.
The All for One and the One for All.

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father part 6–
“All for One’s Quirk Marriage”
Quirk marriage is a popular concept in My Hero Academia, especially centered in the Todoroki family and Shoto Todoroki. This concept likely applies to Izuku Midoriya as well — if this All for One theory is true.
To understand why All for One would agree to a quirk marriage, you have to analyze his character. Post-fight with All Might, All for One is damaged and broken, and his dream of unlimited potential is shattered before his eyes. And All Might helped him realize that. His limitless potential was actually limited.
Tumblr media
All for One in the glory days considers himself an idea. Not a King, not a gang leader, and not a leader. He considers and loves the stance of being an idea to many people (akin to the Symbol of Peace, ironically enough).
(Note: IF ANYONE DISCOVERS ANY MEANING TO THE FINAL PANEL—All for One and Toshinori’s faces halved, then comment please— my guess is that All for One/Hisaishi Midoriya took Toshinori’s successor, Izuku Midoriya. Meaning, that Izuku is both All Might’s and All for One’s successor. The end is nigh for both of them too.)
Tumblr media
Now that you understand All for One’s motives and his ultimatums: enter Quirk Marriage. The idea is to make a stronger quirk. In theory, All for One would seek to become unlimited and fix the gaps in his quirk (as theorized, All Might likely tore off All for One’s arms; refer to part 5), in order to make a more powerful, ambitious, and impure version of “All for One”. Now: enter Inko Midoriya.
Tumblr media
Her quirk: bringing small objects to herself telekinetically + All for One = “Bringing Quirks to the user telekinetically”. That’s an unlimited power.
Compared to Shigaraki’s All for One quirk, where his arms or hands could be torn off and he’d be left unable to take Quirks (remember, the holes in the palms), Midoriya’s next generation All for One quirk is an unlimited power — without weaknesses.
Tumblr media
There’s not yet enough evidence that suggest Izuku originally 1. Had a quirk but Dr. Garaki stole it or 2. It’s a suppressed quirk or 3. Izuku could’ve always been Quirkless. However, if Izuku was never actually Quirkless AND he’s carrying both the inherited, suppressed next gen All for One + One for All, then either two conclusions could occur: 1. Izuku’s body cannot handle the power and he loses control of his Quirks again or 2. All for One and One for All combine into one whole, new quirk: All for One and One for All (but Horikoshi allegedly has never heard of “The Three Musketeers”, a very unlikely thing imo, so who knows if he’d do this).
I know some theories state that All for One is content with Shigaraki, because he resembles his brother, but All for One still has the desire to gain ‘One for All/Little Brother’. And... there doesn’t appear to be enough information surrounding All for One’s history yet. Also, in case it’s not clear by now, Izuku and Shigaraki looked incredibly similar. In fact, here’s a leaked image from a flashback of young Izuku (as a child) losing control of his ‘All for One’ quirk:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
I’m kidding. Psych. But, there really are similarities. That’s actually Tenko Shimura.

Dadmight (and definitely not DFO) translator chapter 217
Nighteye: “How could you choose a quirkless middle schooler as your successor?”
All Might: “Listen, if I want to express adopt an adorable kid who keeps mumbling about quirks and with AFO’s exact mannerism, it’s my godgiven right!”
Nighteye: “… What did you just say?”
AKA Nighteye had to die or All Might couldn’t have remained in denial about his son.
Tumblr media
All Might: “Bakugou, could you please STOP ATTEMPTING TO KILL YOUNG MIDORIYA?? DO YOU THINK I DIDN’T GET ENOUGH EMOTIONS AFTER SEEING MY SON GETTING A WHOLE NEW QUIRK OUT OF NOWHERE?”
Tumblr media
All Might: “We are trying to make it so Young Midoriya doesn’t activate any more quirks suspiciously similar to what All for One showed at Kamino, please.”
Tumblr media
All Might: “Let me casually state that this new development is from One for All and the previous OFA holders. Heroes. Who came before us. That’s all.”
Bakugou: “So, this is where you secretly hang out…”
Izuku: “Yeah… It’s so… surprising… to see you in this place where my dad and I talk about OFA.”
Tumblr media
Bakugou: “Yeah but All for One created One for All. And Deku over there isn’t getting an OFA power. He is literally taking quirks from OFA, which is completely new and suspiciously similar to All for One. The guy who is canonically obsessed with quirks and who can steal them. That guy. Whose power set Deku is having right after All Might finally put the bastard behind bars. Did I mention that AFO and Deku are basically the same?”
Tumblr media
All Might: “Well, thank you for saying out loud what I was trying to repress!”
Tumblr media
All Might: “Hey son, how are you doing?”
Izuku: “Sorry, can’t hear you, too busy looking at my hand in an unmistakably AFO pose while obviously thinking how interesting having All for One’s power would be in a fashion that will probably remind you of very traumatizing memories.”

These few chapters are about letting Deku in UA.
Current heroes see him as their ultimate weapon. Like a tool to destroy / defeat villains.
Civilians see him as a scary monster. Possibly as one of AFO's henchmen.
Uraraka + 1-A see him as a human being. A boy that's been exhausted from carrying the entire series having such a heavy burden of saving everyone.
But there is another possibility, and that's Izuku being the UA traitor. Not willingly of course, I just think the mindscape of AFO and OFA might be used by AFO for location and spying purposes. Kind of like Harry Potter and Voldemort's connection.
The vault / door thing is suspicious. If AFO can hear OFA's voice, he might as well track Izuku and find UA wherever they go.
Or AFO might reveal Izuku as his son 👀 He would probably say "Thank you for taking Izuku Midoriya in UA. He is my only son after all" and then it'd cause a huge chaos.
Either way, it will be an interesting conflict.

Evidence for Dad For One that I’ve compiled
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All for One and Izuku have the exact same grin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m fairly certain that these are intentional parallels. They are both trying to rile up their opponent in order to get them to use all their power, they even hold similar stances. One is doing it for good, the other for evil
This brings up an interesting observation, both All For One and Izuku are naturally gifted with a silver tongue. It’s hard to notice because Izuku has been bullied all his life (he never had friends and thus his social skills suffered), but you can tell when he gets serious that he can do some serious talk no jutsu. It’s not that hard to believe that if Izuku wasn’t a socially outcasted for not having a quirk, he would have the potential to manipulate people on par with AFO. I’m not saying he would be evil, I’m just saying that he has a talent for pulling at peoples heart-strings.
Izuku is literally All for One but good, in the same way Tomura is meant to be the first user of OFA but evil. It’s an odd parallel

AFO was a babysitter???
Tumblr media
I saw this panel on dad for one tag and honestly, I thought it was a fanart for an AU at first. But it turns out to be CANON. This was in chapter 92 of Vigiliantes manga!
If I remember correctly, Vigiliantes is a spinoff manga that tells the events occured in the past. I didn't read all of it yet so I can't go into too much detail, but AFO was shown picking up blocks from the ground.
Not just any blocks though. BABY BLOCKS.
Tumblr media
Just look at the shapes, they are almost identical.
AFO, the biggest villain of BNHA, had baby toys in his lair for some reason.
Here is the full manga page:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
...Ah yes, doing a monologue while holding a baby block is hilarious 🤣
Tumblr media
Speaking of babies... these toys could belong to this little baby right here :3 And no, they can't be for Tomura because these toys are usually for babies between 0-3 years old. Tomura was around 5 or 6 when AFO got him.
Conclusion: AFO was a babysitter. He was probably taking care of little Izuku at that time 🥰🥰🥰

Hello everyone!
While rereading the manga in Japanese, I noticed one interesting point. End of the Camino Arch. All Might passes the baton to Midoriya Izuku. And a cloud with the word "you" (君) right on the Izuku’s frame. There is no doubt that Midoriya Izuku is the heir to "One for All".
Tumblr media
At another moment, when All For One is being taken to his cell in Tartarus, his monologue also brings us, readers, to the moment of passing the baton. And by all the rules and expectations, Shigaraki Tomura should take over the baton.
Tumblr media
Only now - the cloud with the word "you" (君) again fell on the frame with Midoriya Izuku, who should not have been in this relay.
Tumblr media
But why? Why is Midoriya Izuku involved here? By all the rules, the Chief Villain had to appoint his Heir here - his student. But for us, the readers, they focused on Midoriya Izuku.
(Of course, there is a reception here with the designation of the future confrontation - who will be the Hero and who will be the Villain. However, in the scene with the All Might, there was no such definition of roles to draw a parallel between the new generation of heroes and villains.)
And summing up the above, I believe that AFO actually decided on his true heir long ago. And it will definitely not be Shigaraki Tomura. The choice fell on the purposeful and judicious, able to quickly navigate the situation - Midoriya Izuku.

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father — part 5
“The Quirk: All for One”
I’ll add this for @schroedingershund who asked (regarding the holes in All for One’s palms).
In the manga, you’d have to look closely and compare All for One in the past (his glory days) to All for One in Kamino when he’s fighting against All Might. Chapters where Izuku is shown memories by One for All is high quality evidence.
Once you note the comparison between those past and present All for One’s, then return to Shigaraki in the War Arc and you’ll notice that he has the holes that All for One had in his glory days but no longer in Kamino.
Update 03/03/20: I completely forgot to mention this. The original “All for One” quirk was completely unable to take One for All. This fact is repeatedly mentioned by the characters as All for One’s inability to take back One for All and even All Might says that One for All cannot be taken unless the user chooses to give it up (this is a worldbuilding rule). So why would the Doctor tell Shigaraki that once he has the original “All for One” quirk then One for All would be in his grasp? There would be no difference since that quirk completely failed in taking One for All. So, why would the doctor lie to Shigaraki? Why would All for One lead Shigaraki in such a false direction? My personal opinion for these questions is this: All for One’s revenge against All Might and Nana Shimura, and the Doctor creates a ‘perfect Nomu’ unlike even his high-ends; and this is likely just a massive Red Herring. After all, it’s the Quirk (the same quirk that failed already) and not Shigaraki that would make the difference.

Why All for One is Izuku’s Father — part 4
Part 2 – “The Relationship Between All for One and Izuku Midoriya”
Shigaraki Tomura is a puppet/pawn only. All for One blatantly admits that he controlled situations for Shigaraki and All Might to meet —and it alludes to the Volume 10 cover.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
This dark side and light side image of Izuku when he repeats, “All for One’s power.”
Also, it’s strange. Izuku doesn’t reject the similarity of himself to All for One. The All Might fanboy, the one who saw visions of death from All for One, the successor of One for All is not bothered by this (and we’ve seen Izuku bothered or disturbed—1. Not rescuing Eri 2. The dream of One for All 3. Taking down Shigaraki in the War Arc)
If anything, he looks intrigued and contemplative.
But here’s the scary part: Izuku is touching the center of his palm. All for One presumably had both of his arms torn off by All Might in a previous battle; as he doesn’t have the holes in his palms during the Kamino Arc that are seen in many past flashbacks (notice how Shigaraki does have the center-holes in his palms after having All for One transplanted into him). How does Izuku, who’s never met or seen All for One in his prime before the severe injuries, know that All for One’s power depends on the holes in the center of his palms? How does he know unconsciously where to point to regarding All for One’s power? Could be passed off as some heroic pose trope OR Izuku knew All for One from when he was a mere child, analyzed Hisaishi’s/All for One’s quirk, and his memories are suppressed.
