N is promptly grabbed by the front of his suit and lifted a little off the ground. Tessa’s eyes slowly open and she glares into N’s soul through his visor.

Tessa: “get out of my room”

She says this in the most demonic voice a teenage girl can muster. N just squeaks in fear

N: “y-yes Tessa”

She lets go of him and smiles the most cheery smile with bright wide awake eyes.

Tessa: “sorry about that, it got away from me. Would you please prep me some coffee?”

A rather long, more angsty comic that I had in my drafts for a while. I feel like things like this probably happened more than once. I imagine N was a walking trauma reminder for both J and V because of how he was the only one being consistently lobotomized and kept in the dark. It could've been a factor to J's disdain with him but I also think it jaded V. I can't imagine she was always so cold with him, i feel like after watching the last "friend" you thought you had becoming a scraped out dog for the thing that killed you both kinda kills any hope you might've had left. At some point V decided that the best way to interact with what has become of N was to pretend she didn't remember his name

What if the switch thing stays the same in cannon; Alice is still Masquerade. But when Reaper proves to be insufficient, Masquerade uses Hydranoid cause he is Alice's Bakugan. Then lo and behold, Hydranoid almost immediately shows himself superior to any other Bakugan Masquerade used previously.

Hydranoid knows that Alice and Masquerade are the same person but he also knows that if he says anything Naga could possibly "erase" Alice so Masquerade can have her body permanently, so Hydranoid stays silent. He even plays up the "I am only after power/becoming the strongest Bakugan" when he's with Masquerade while playing a more humble and caring (only to Alice) persona when he's with Alice. Things get a bit funny when Alice's Hydranoid Evolves the same time as Masquerade's.

I kinda want Alice to still be hesitant to battle. But if anyone challenges her, well, she isn't one to back down without a fight. Masquerade is just the part of her that battles ruthlessly and without mercy, he prolongs the battle, letting his opponent have a sliver of hope before he crushes it by defeating them. Alice on the other hand, only uses enough force to beat her opponent quickly, even giving them advise if they're not a jerk.

The trial with Exedra is more a trial for Hydranoid than for Masquerade as he now has to fight his real partner

brawler alice au where she is the team darkus brawler and has hydranoid as her bakugan the whole time like dan gets drago and alice just chimes in with "doesnt everyone have a talking bakugan" and introduces hydranoid

where this gets fun is episode 13 where dan and shun battle masquerade (and each other but not important) because masquerade throws in hydranoid who dan Imediately recognises as "hey thats alice's bakugan" following dan Imediately confronts alice with something along the lines of "why does masquerade have your bakugan" to which she would look at him like hes an idiot and pull out hydranoid like "what are you talking about"

i dont have much more than that. my brain is just fixated on actually gettimg to see alice brawl and is trying every thing to make it a thing

I agree, TESSA DID NOTHING WRONG!!!

She must've felt so guilty having to lock Cyn in the basement. She probably thought it was just confirmation that she was just like her parents. Locking away problems cause they don't know how to fix it. WHICH IS BS! Cyn wasn't locked up because Tessa couldn't “handle” her. She was locked up bc Luisa was a B*TCH.

I also wonder, when Cyn said "we can no longer be thrown out". Was Tessa included in that statement?Cause Cyn only stepped forward when Tessa couldn't speak up. When she couldn't defend them anymore.

Also in Tessa's room. Both J AND Cyn were chained just like Tessa. I wonder if the Elliots made the extra chains so they can further punish Tessa by making it so that her friends suffer the same fate as her.

I also stand by the HC that Cyn wasn't completely gone when Tessa brought her back. But seeing and experiencing the abuse that was inflicted on her and her family degraded whatever resolve or mercy she had for humanity. It's why she wanted to spare Tessa, the one human that may have shown humanity a better way.

It's also interesting that the Solver agreed to spare Tessa. Was the "Don't go to the Gala" a test? A way to see that if push came to shove, Tessa would choose the Drone family instead of the humans that abused her. And with Tessa choosing to fight the Solver, did it take it as a "confirmation" that despite her kindness, Tessa will choose Humanity over her Drones. Which, again, is BS. It's likely that despite the clear abuse she suffered from her parents, Tessa still loved them. Just like most children, those are still her parents, she won't just abandon them (even if the Elder Elliots wouldn't hesitate twice if the roles were reversed)

I'll make this as quick as I can. Louisa and James absolutely /hated/ how attached Tessa was to her drones - or any drone, for that matter. James insisted on "curbing her trips to the dump," and belittled the passion as "creepy," just to set the stage a little. They already saw her as a morbid freak of a girl, and now she was more attached to robots than anything else like a Weirdo. But let me tell you what - they restricted her trips out, but never STOPPED them. They let her keep taking drones home and dolling them up. Why? I'll fuckin tell ya - blackmail.

This was more a Louisa thing than a James thing I think (though he did find it unnerving, he never said anything to imply he'd use them against Tessa), but that woman knew Tessa loved the drones dearly. She didn't understand and most likely found it embarrassing (I mean hell, she called them Tessa's "dumpster pets"), but she let her keep going out there. Because if worst came to worst, it was something she could use to /keep her in line./ Even more than the goddamn abuse.

"Myrah, where are you getting this?" I'll tell ya. When Tessa "disobeyed Louisa's orders" by bringing Cyn into the ballroom, what was the immediate threat of punishment? No, it wasn't chaining her up in her room - that only came after "Cyn" delivered that cryptic ass line about not being able to be "thrown out" anymore. But why did she say that in the first place?

Spoiler alert, the line was "I said /this one/ (Cyn), out of my sight. Though still can't follow simple orders. [...] Swamp! Dumping your broken drones clogging our library tomorrow, too. Don't test me."

You catch that?

Cyn was the only one Louisa pitched a fit over. But because /Tessa/ didn't listen, she threatened /her/ by threatening to take away the one thing she /knew/ would matter to her, the one thing that could make her listen - her beloved drones.

It was the only thing Louisa knew for damn sure would scare Tessa into submission. And did it work?
