🔪SLASHER U MIDSUMMER PROGRESS UPDATE!🔪

The big ol' Sawyer Update for Act 2 has been moved to an August 1st launch to allow Liz and I to work fully on the scenario!

You may have noticed I have been hella quiet! That's cause i'm dealing with some wild landlord shit over here and moving across the country all of a sudden! Thus, I am gonna be on a bit of a hiatus until August 1st so I can get my proverbial shit together! Luckily, the August 1st update for Act 2 will include an array of bugfixes as well as new Sawyer content!

Slasher U: Act 1 will be once again present in this year's Queer Games Bundle! It's a great way to pick up Act 1 at a bargain price, along with hundreds of other incredible queer games!

update on the spare room situation-- I loaded an earlier save to give horsemike the 400 again, but when i try to interact with the room after paying him it gives me the option to try to pick the lock and then says it's unpickable. I tried on two playthroughs, both of which are in autumn, so it seems consistent?

Gotcha, I'll give this a whack at a fix on the next build! Looks like I might have to retrofit that whole little questline so some folks might have to do it over again :')) I'll include a cheatcode to skip ahead or at least a cheat for 400 bux when I do the retrofit, though!!

LOL okay so the game DEFINITELY tracks what kind of favor you promised Tate, but I haven't written the payoff for that yet! I HAVE planned it for Act 2 or 3 though so expect something, lmao (although there WILL be options to worm your way out of the favor :V)

I have no clue how to do pass/do the AV class I might be blind actually.

There should be a stack of papers (pinkish white) on the table in the A/V room - interacting with them will start the minigame! I'm actually considering sticking Covington or someone in there to prompt the player/make it easier to find the minigame, lol

Hey, there's a bug when starting the empty room on DIK quest, after choosing which path you get stuck in the room.

I’ve been dealing with some gender stuff the past many many years and only started presenting more like myself in 2024 (great timing, I know). Slasher U and the ability to change gender and physiques mid game and go back and forth without having to reset was really important to this. So thank you for such a beautifully written and designed game. It’s made me braver irl.

:')))) augh this makes me SUPER happy, thank you! I included the ability to change gender/appearance on a whim and not "charge" for it, on purpose, so seeing games like BG3 do the same thing and seeing the absolute positive effect it has on people makes me SUPER happy. The real gay agenda is confidence in our true selves lmao

How do I unlock the sex dungeon?

You should be able to discover the spare room upstairs at DIK, talk to Horsemike about it, pay rent & grab the keys from Sawyer, and then a little quest should trigger where you're asked what you wanna do with the spare room! One of the options is "sex dungeon" o7

I have a serious, unserious question. Does Sawyer have facial hair? My brain has been forever swapping back and forth between reading the black along his jaw and chin as shadows and reading it as some clean cut face fur. I hope you understand he's a babe and a doll either way.

Extremely valid question lmao, Sawyer has a clean shaven but super chiseled jaw, but is ALSO the kind of guy who grows a 5 o'clock shadow every day against his will
