"Alright but you have to admit there's only so much caution you can afford to exercise with these things. It was only a little stake and cross action anyway. I barely got scratched."

“Well, it is! You-you can’t just charge in there without barely any forethought. You need to exercise more caution.”

"If I had a dime for every time someone said that to me," she laughed. "I'm Buffy, or more importantly not the kind of girl that gets sent to new dimensions all that easily,".
He rolled his eyes lightly, the magic around his fist dimmed. “Let’s just say, don’t get on my bad side; or you’ll be in a new dimension.” He grinned at her, his attitude more like his father than he’ll admit. “Who are you?”

"Maybe you're right. Checkers don't really go with anything these days. Oh well. Can't say I didn't try,"
“I truly don’t think that’s a good idea…”

"Oookay then, fiery-glowy red fists. I'm not exactly impressed but mark me down as a teensy bit surprised," Buffy wasn't one to back away, she'd seen weirder.
"Trust me, it’s my line." He teased, fists glowing red.

"And to think, that's usually my line."

”You have no clue what I can do.”

“Thanks Giles. That's a real confidence booster y'know?"

“That is possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”

"Alright. I can do that, of course. Never called the police before after all."

"Just do me a favor and don’t turn me in to any authorities. I’d prefer to avoid arrest."

"Sorry, I should've realized me shutting up would probably do you more good. I've never encountered this kind of thing before. I wish I could make it up to you or something,"

"Didn’t mean to, what exactly? Find yourself grappling with a personal problem in the presence of one who just refused to engage further because she’s reached the limit of her patience? Does not sound like the appropriate response."

"Oh uh, glad I could be a nice change." Buffy said, somewhat taken aback. She wondered if she was like the typical patient most of the time. She probably was, but it was nice to think she was something special in that regard. As the intern worked Buffy couldn't help but watch in quiet fascination, even if there was a certain ick factor that accompanied doctoring that kept her from ever considering the career. Plus, being the Slayer had kind of sealed the deal. That said, she might be able to pick up a few tips for next time she got scraped up, which would probably be in the next 24 hours. "You don't need to worry so much about the bruises, they'll heal in a second."

She blinked, vampires? Was this woman a genius, be supernatural, or just watch a lot of scary movies? Either way the cat was out of the bag. "Oh? Well uh, yeah vampires I'm the Slayer. I hunt them, I know I look a little young," she said quickly. Weird stuff? She wondered what could possibly be so bizarre that vampires actually existing didn't faze her in the least. "Um, have you seen any vampires before?" she asked.
“Don’t worry about it, honestly; it’s nice to actually get some appreciation for it. Normally patients just come and go without even acknowledging their staff,” she remarked, pressing her hand atop Buffy’s, assisting to apply a slight amount of pressure to the bruising. Her eyes flicked up, fixing on the broken flesh upon the young woman’s throat, brain jumping to a start, whirring, as she drew to the immediate conclusion regarding how they’d been inflicted.

“Vampires? Not to pry or anything. Just — I’ve seen my fair share of weird stuff; there’s not much that’d surprise me, at this rate,” Martha informed her, her tone somewhat comforting, as she pressed a cloth, soaked in anti-sceptic, against the wounds, dabbing lightly, in order to remove any infection from the girl’s bloodstream — unless, of course, it was too late.”

"I'm not actually that creative I'm not sure what you could possibly want. I'm good at sneaking around though, if that means anything to you, I'm light on my feet apparently. Maybe I should've just asked a Ravenclaw, I hear they're smart... and maybe less grumpy. I'm a Gryffindor, or did the gold and red not tip you off?"

“Well, Blonide, money isn’t a desire. You’re gonna have to come up with something brilliant to give to me in return. What house are you from?”
