Hello! First off I'd like to say your like an amazing writer and was wondering if you do any requests from different Fandoms! If you do could you maybe do a Renato Lyra x gender-neutral reader please!!
Hey! I do write for different fandoms and I love DBD! I'm a Jake Park main and recently started playing Trevor! Thank you for the request and I hope you enjoy!! <3
Fandom: Dead By Daylight
Characters: Renato Lyra, Dwight Fairfield, mentioned Skull Merchant, mentioned other survivors
Pairing: Renato Lyra x Gender-neutral Reader
The fog is thick this time as it shrouds the area as an attempt to hide everything. But lucky for [Name] they're used to it; after all they brought the offering to make it happen. If Feng came then she'll probably complain to them, or thank them later once they get out of this trial. Although looking at the landscape, it's more likely they'll be bitched at later.
Of course, the dumb fucking Entity brought them to a new area. If there's a different area then it means there's a new killer. And with a new killer there's a high chance a new person was dragged into the fog. They would rather take on The Deathslinger again, and that stupid area that looked like it came from a western film. They let out an irritated sigh before walking off to get a layout of the place.
Honestly, they kinda hope they new person was hot. They're pretty sure Kate, Dwight, and Jake are sick and tired of them going feral over anyone they deemed attractive. But they do agree that they're very useful.
[Name] is one of the few people in this place that will take their time, and fully map out where everything is; pallets, windows for vaults, where the hooks are stationed, the generators, and finally, the gates.
Quietly they approached the main area which holds a bunch of equipment and bright lights shining around. They noticed the building and spotted a few pallets, but what really caught [Name's] attention was the generator smack dab in the middle of the lights.
A chime was heard in the distance. A signal that one of the five generators was done.
They hissed when they noticed the pistons on top were moving slightly; someone already made it here but must have been rushed off. Although they would like to continue mapping the place out, since they're not sure if their next trial would even be in the same place. [Name] would rather get the fuck out of here than meet whatever sick fuck is hunting them down.
Making sure the coast was clear they walked forward, and began pulling at the wires and fixing it up. Keeping an ear out, if anybody was heading their direction, or if they felt their body succumb to panic. For awhile things were going good, until a scream of pain echoed from the other side which made [Name] flinch and cause their generator to blow up.
"Fuck!"
[Name] pulled their hands away from the machine. They shot a glare where the scream came from before abandoning their generator. They were so close to finishing it, but now they had to run before the new killer reached them. Silently praying that someone else would later finish it for them.
Running towards the edge of the available area; they sneaked towards where their fellow survivor was hooked. [Name] was grateful for Adam; who allowed them to use his perk, Deliverance. Either way they hoped nobody else got them from hook yet, or else they're fucked until another person got strung up, that wasn't [Name].
Reaching the hook [Name] noticed that the person was still hanging. But what caught their attention was that somebody else was there. Yet they didn't do anything to get them down. It appears they were having a small conversation.
Getting closer to the two people; they immediately recognized the person on hook. It was Dwight, which caused [Name] to rush forward because they remembered that he usually brings the, We'll Make It perk. Once they got closer, they could admit to themselves that the other guy was quite attractive. (Underneath all the fear) His outfit looked comfortable, but his shoes were not fit for this scenario. He's wearing sandals for fucks sake.
The man broke out of his conversation when [Name] got closer; he faced them quickly, clutching his arm and looked ready to run away. "Wait! Wait! Wait- agh!" Dwight called for him but cut himself off with a groan of pain, "They're one of us!"
[Name] showed their hands in a surrender motion before giving the man a tense smile. Renato stared down [Name] as they reached for Dwight, carefully bringing him down. They began mending his wounds. He did in fact bring We'll Make It. "So... new guy, huh?" They muttered to the glasses wearing man without stopping their motions. Taking quick glances at the other guy, who stands there awkwardly.
Dwight sighed, knowing what they're thinking after being in so many trials together. He called for Renato step closer; which he did but with hesitance. He didn't help with the mending. [Name] didn't really care and kept going as Dwight explained who they were and what was going on.
"Long story short, we're fucked either way!" [Name] said cheerfully as they dusted off their hands once they were done. Renato's eyes follows their actions; he crossed his arms as he thinks over the information that was given to him. [Name] absolutely want this handsome man to keep his eyes on them. Although they would rather not show how much they're drooling over him. Dwight straightened up as he looked around, "We've been idle here for too long. We should separate, I was able to finish a gen before the killer got me." He says shuffling on his feet.
The other man looked alarmed at the mentioned of splitting up. "Hold on, shouldn't we stick together?" God damn was his voice fucking attractive [Name] thought shamelessly.
Dwight shook his head, "Too risky right now, the new killer has some sort of drones?" His voice laced in uncertainty. Wait what the fuck does he mean that the new killer has fucking drones?
"But I really think-"
"Listen if you believe that's best then you should stick with them." He gestures towards [Name], who is checking out the new guy without shame. Dwight walks away and into the dark mist.
A look of annoyance crossed Renato's face from the dismissal as he side eyed [Name]. Who took notice of it. They smiled teasingly before bumping shoulders with him, "Hey, don't blame Dwight. He's not normally like this he's been through 3 trials back to back without rest." They explained gently which caused him to loosen up.
"It does sound like hell from what he explained." Renato muttered which made [Name] let out a soft laugh. They began walking away from hook, "Come on, let's see what you..." they trailed off when the spotted the injury on his arm.
He follows their line sight to his arm which makes him hold it closer to him "It no longer hurts, but I can still move it." he confesses. [Name] shakes their head, "Don't care, c'mon pretty boy let's go find a chest and hope it has a med kit."
"My name is Renato by the way, Renato Lyra," He responds as he followed them. Christ they might swoon over him during this whole thing. [Name] has no idea why this new guy took their heart, but god damn do they want him.
"Nice to meet you, Renato! Now, let's hope your first trial goes successfully." They said with affection in their voice as they faced forward, keeping an eye out for a chest.
Renato stares at them for a moment before a soft smile forms on lips. He's not sure how he ended up here, but he's glad that they were the one who offered to help him.

Wouldn't You Like?
Hey guys? I finally posted something after months! This is based off an idea from discord where we were just bouncing ideas back and forth and ended up with Child of Hermes! Reader! I wanted to write more but I decided to just post with what i have!
This has no romance! It's platonic!
hope you enjoy!
The scenery of the world ahead is bright with waves of mountains that reach high into the sky. Accompanied by the lows of the valleys, and the connections of the rivers into the lakes and oceans. This is vastly different from the world that they were familiar with; although they were aware that things like this did exist back home it would be difficult to even visit. But with this quest that was given to them, it allowed them to see many things that weren't even possible, except for certain things. [Name] blinked sluggishly as they held their weapon close to them, sparing a glance to the monsters that lay on the ground that would soon disappear into clouds of purple smoke.
A frown is on their face as they carefully sheathed their sword. Although they were glad that a quest was chosen for them; they didn’t expect for them to travel to a different dimension. A curse is at the tip of their tongue. It was supposed to be a simple search quest, they were to find their father’s petasus and return it back to camp. Instead it was derailed by a shadow entity that interrupted a battle against the monsters; all they remembered was darkness and then a splash of color before falling into something.
That was a few days ago, currently they are wandering the land trying to find something familiar. So far there has been nothing recognizable; the language of this place is completely different from what she knows. The currency was surprisingly easier to gather, on the 2nd day [Name] began swinging their sword absentmindedly at the grass, small green gems appeared. With each chance they had they collected as much as they could and began hoarding their rupees.
It’s now day 15 of being stranded in an alternate dimension with no way of being able to contact camp. During the day [Name] would explore and gather supplies and keep moving. Too paranoid to stay in one place since they’re unsure if any of the monsters followed them. Thankfully, their weapon stayed with them since there are monsters, but not the ones that they were trained to fight against. These creatures were more like wild animals, but still if anything tried to attack they did not hesitate to fight back.
At night, it is a bit more different. The world normally sleeps, but this one brings out skeletal monsters from the ground and eye-ball bats roam the sky. [Name] sets up a miniature shelter for rest, and to stay hidden from anything that could be after them. Without any way to create a rainbow there was no use for using the drachma that was given to them. Yet that didn’t stop them from attempting to contact the Gods; [Name] would call for their camp director. Although they had a feeling Mr. D hadn’t answered a prayer in a long time. They even tried praying to Iris herself for any spark, but they hadn’t felt a thing.
Desperation had kicked in one night; [Name] terrified that they might not be able to get home, called for their father. They hadn’t heard a thing from him since they were claimed, which was also the same day they gained a quest. Tears falling down their face as they stared at the fire and prayed for guidance, or even a small hint that he was there.
It was faint but [Name] could’ve sworn they felt something reach for them; not wanting to lose the sensation they reached for an apple from their bag and tossed it into the fire. An offering to show that they were still there. That feeling lingered as long as it could, almost as if it was trying to reassure them. Openly weeping as whispers slipped from their lips, “Please…please…if this is reaching you. Help guide me home, father.”
It took a few more days for [Name] to properly meet the Heroes of Hyrule. It was like everything clicked once they met; funny enough they were able to understand the heroes which made them explain how they ended up in Hyrule. In return they shared their stories of being pulled from their home by the same portal that took them.
The group took them in and explained where exactly they ended up, the Hero of the Wild’s Hyrule, which happened to be giant and filled with more monsters than what the others were used to. The strenuous journey looking for the monsters that needed to be killed before being sent somewhere else that needed their assistance was slowly taking a toll.
Thankfully, they found one of the stables that was established years after the calamity that struck the world 100 years ago. Wild brought them to it because they were all tired from sleeping outdoors and they wanted to sleep on a bed properly, especially Sky and [Name]. Once Time and Wild paid for the beds, the rest of the Chain piled their equipment together and began to explore the small area surrounding the stable. Except they had to drag Sky away from one of the beds since they knew he wouldn't get up for hours.
Wind and Warriors were playing with the dog that was messing with the sheeps in the back. Twilight was speaking to Beedle and selling some of the insects that he collected while looking at what he had in stock.
As the others stayed near Wild when he began to retrieve ingredients from the Sheikah Slate to create their meal for the day, having smooth conversation about their adventures.
“I’m just saying we all started with one simple favor of doing something for others! The next thing we knew, we’re doing way bigger than what we agreed to.” Hyrule spoke as the others muttered to themselves.
Time thought for a moment before responding, “You’re not wrong…I was just supposed to collect stones and return them to the King of Hyrule.”
[Name] was sitting on the ground when they felt something tug at them. They ignored it before chiming with the others, “This is my first quest! I was just supposed to find my Father’s helmet and bring it back.”
That caught Legend’s attention as he stared at them, “Wait seriously? You were only sent to retrieve only a helmet for your father?”
[Name] shrugged but nodded their head which made Four laugh at the scenario, “Oh man, and you ended up somewhere else far from your original goal. Are you sure you're not another one of us?” He teased as [Name] rolled their eyes until that tugging sensation came again, but much more harsher.
Legend interrupted again, “But how important is your father for there to be a quest to retrieve his helmet?” Which made [Name] pause for a moment as they gathered their thoughts on how to explain who their father was.
Footsteps interrupted their thought as it came closer to the group; the rest of the Chain perked up when the person approached. It was a man in a white tank top, shorts, and sandals with a satchel at his hip and a bright red hat with an image of a bunny on it.
Suddenly [Name] crashed into the ground before shoving the boy that jumped on them, “Mail is here!’ Wind cheered until he landed on the dirt beside the [color] haired person. The Post man laughed at the interaction before reaching into his bag, and began sorting through their respective letters, “Mail for a Mister Link! In fact, multiple letters are addressed to him!”
Wind took the pile from his hands, “We got it from here! We’ll be sure he gets them, sir!” Time leaned over and began passing out everyone’s own mail. The Chain began to get excited as they went through what they were sent.
Meanwhile [Name] smiled softly as they watched them speak about their friends and family back home. Although they had silently hoped that something came for them. But they knew it would be impossible, they haven’t heard anything from their Father since that night. Not once have they felt it again even when they burned off a portion of their dinner to him for days. [Name] didn’t want to think what happened that night was something they made up, yet deep down they held onto the belief that he did listen.
A small burst of laughter came from the Post Man which caused [Name] to glance up, slightly forgetting that he was still there. They gave the man a hesitant smile before speaking, “Uh sorry, were they supposed to pay for your services? I could-”
“No! No! There’s no need.” He spoke up his eyes never leaving them, “Well they have nothing to give me, but you do.”That caught Twilight’s attention as he slightly narrowed his eyes at the Postman; this also caused Wild to stop what he was doing. [Name] a bit confused by what he meant frowned slightly as they stared up at him.
“They have something to give you?” Questioned Twilight as he neared the duo, getting ready to intervene if need be. The Postman let out a dramatic sigh before removing his hat, and placing it on his chest.
His lips curled mischievously as he disregarded Twilight and focused on the Demi-god, “Why your name, darling! It’s the first time we’ve met. If you’re going to be one of my regulars shouldn’t I know who you are?” A tone of slight humor is laced as he spoke which unnerved the group of heroes.
But for the young demi-god they felt a sense of familiarity from him; the tugging they felt earlier appeared to be pulling them towards the Postman. Without hesitation they reached for their bag and in their hand was the petasus; the item that caused them to end up in this world.
A grin spreads on the Demi-gods lips, similar to the Postman as they hand him the petasus, “I have a feeling that you might know who I am already.”
Time stood up from his spot and stepped forward, “[Name] he has never met you before; how could he know you?” His voice stern as his gaze never left them, the tension was thick amongst the group. Normally the Postman never sticks around after delivering his mail to them; too devoted to his job to be distracted or be pushed behind. This whole thing was unnerving them.
The Postman took the petasus from their hand, and casually placed it on his head, “Thank you, my dear, for returning it to me.” His voice slipped into one [Name] heard before in their youth. As a light covered the Postman, momentarily blinding the others.
When the light dispersed there where the Postman stood was an entirely different person. A man with brown curly hair that framed his face, the same petasus on his head which caused a shadow to form on his face, covering his eyes. Winged feet flapped as he was lifted a few inches off the ground and stared at [Name] with a fond smile.
[Name] without hesitation reached out their arms towards him as the man met them halfway and held them in his arms. “I got you, darling, there’s no need to worry.”
A sob escaped their lips as they felt the warmth of his arms wrapped around them, "You came. You actually heard my prayers." Hermes hummed as he slightly rocked them back and forth; a hand rests on their head, "I'm sorry that I made you doubt me."

It happened in a split second. One moment you’re crossing the road, the green walk signal lulling you into a false sense of peace, then you’re tripping on a crack in the road causing you to drop one of your bags. You quickly scramble to pick it up, only for a loud horn to blare, a screech, and something hitting you full force, knocking you unconscious.
You woke up in a daze. Your mind felt completely blank at first, eyes squinting as you woke up to scratchy sheets and pillow that did not support your head that well. Then it seemed to all come to you at once. You were on your way home from a small grocery run, then something hit you. Adrenaline filled you as you tossed the blanket to the side, inspecting your body for any damages. Odd, not a single blemish on your skin besides some calluses that lined your palms. Strange becomes stranger. It was then that you looked around the room, expecting to find yourself at the hospital, but instead you felt your stomach drop. It looked like you were in some medieval historical museum.
What the actual fuck was going on.
You stood up, legs shaky. The room was small, it held a bed, a wardrobe, and a small fireplace. You felt all out of sorts, looking down at the long white nightgown that you donned. You weren’t sure what you would find when you descended the stairs that led out of the room, so you decided to check the wardrobe for a change. Perhaps that will help you feel a bit more stable doing a routine you were familiar with. Wrong. The wardrobe was filled with…tunics? There were a variety of colors, some with long sleeves, others with no sleeves, some beige, others vibrant colors. You felt way too out of your depth at the moment. Taking a deep breath, you tried to calm yourself, your mind was in overdrive and you needed to take things one step at a time.
With shaky hands, you grab a long sleeved beige tunic. It seemed like that was the first step, it looked like an undershirt. Placing it on the bed you went back to look over the more vibrant tunics, some with short baggy sleeves, others with no sleeves at all. It would make sense the tunic that is more flashy would go on top. Picking out a color you liked, you placed it next to the first tunic. Next you went to search for pants, most were brown or beige, picking the one that matched your chosen tunics the most you finally were ready to change.
You wished you had a mirror to see how you looked, but you suppose they weren’t as common in this time period. What the hell were you saying? Time period? Had you really gone back in time? No, don’t think about it. You took in another deep breath. At least the clothes were really comfy. Why the hell had people stopped wearing these?
With a long sigh, you decided it was finally time to tackle the question of what was beyond this room. Slowly, you walked down the wooden steps, peeking down and seeing that it was what seemed to be a living room/kitchen. An old stove was against the wall, the brick opened at the bottom that held a small fire that was slowly dying. So that’s how they cooked foods back in the day…in this day…? Whatever. A small wooden table rested on the opposite side with two chairs, a small bookshelf rested next to it. It seemed kinda cozy if you were being honest. Another set of stairs led down into another unknown area. Your stomach grumbled, echoing in the silent room. With all your panicking and shock you hadn’t realized how hungry you were.
It seemed that whoever you had become…were you still you? In a sense…yes and no. You don’t want to think too hard about it. Whatever. It seemed no matter what you were a bit lazy in any time period, as a kettle was on the stove with some boiling stew. Picking up a piece of wood from the pile that sat in the corner, you added it under the stove, causing the fire to rise once more. Ladle in hand, you stirred to see all that was in the soup. Bones, meat, carrots, peas, and corn. Grabbing a bread bowl, you scooped yourself up a portion and took a seat at the small wooden table.
As you ate your meal, you reassessed your situation. You were hit, most likely by a suv, bus, truck, or other large vehicle. Then you woke up in some medieval seeming house with medieval clothing. Wasn’t this the plot to some trashy isekai novel? Weren’t you supposed to be the villainess or heroine or something? Why were you some seemingly random peasant? A harsh sigh escaped from your nose. Sure, you didn’t mind reading one of those stories, but to live one? Was this some cruel joke? You needed to know where and when you were, and also who the hell you were. What was your name? Was it the same? With a shake of your head you grabbed one of the books on the shelf that sat next to you. Perhaps a story will help you find some crucial information.
Taking a bite from the bread bowl, you opened the book, only for another wave of horror to wash over you. The text was completely different. You couldn’t read the alphabet-
You clutched your head as a sudden intense, blinding white hot pain overcame you. Your eyes were squeezed shut as a ton of information washed over you. No, not information. Memories. This body’s memories. Memories of when you were a child and your parents walked you through the market, memories of being a teenager and already working in the bakery that sat below you. Memories of your parents dying when you were only eighteen, memories of navigating life in the city on your own, making friends, greeting customers, baking goods. You let out a loud gasp as the pain finally dulled into a throbbing annoyance, white dots littering your sight when you finally opened your eyes once more.
It felt like you were two people in one body, two different sets of memories held in your brain. You need to hurry and start baking so you can open shop. Do you even know how to bake? Of course you do, you’ve done it all your life. You quickly finished the bread that made up your makeshift bowl, rushing down the stairs and looking in awe at the brickstone oven that took up the center of your quaint shop. You started working like it was muscle memory. Taking out the ingredients you needed to make dough, cookie batter, pie crust, and pastries. Then you would put the dough in the oven after the fire died down and you brushed the ashes out. Once the dough rose, the pies cooked, and the cookies settled, you took it all out, bringing them to a table that sat right outside your home, where you would stand all day till your stock sold out or the day was over.
Perhaps you weren’t in such a bad situation after all.
It didn’t take long for you to get used to your new/old life. You learned to accept that you had died, that things would never be the same. One part of you itched for a phone or longed for your tv, but another felt refreshed. You learned to live in the moment, and you felt like you were in a community. You’d greet your usual customers with a beaming smile, joke with the man you’d usually get your meat from, listen to the gossip that everyone and anyone would spread about.
Everything finally felt like it was falling into place.
Until you met him.
It seemed like any other day. Waking before the crack of dawn to start your chores, setting up shop and waiting for your first customer. New and old faces popped up alike, until one face was all too familiar. You had accepted this was just some random world separate from your own, your body’s memories not bringing up any history lesson you recalled. But he changed everything. Blonde hair that swept to the left, blue eyes that matched the scarf that wrapped around his shoulders, green tunic and hat that made you want to melt and run away at the same time.
YOU WERE IN A LEGEND OF ZELDA GAME?!
How the hell had you not realized for so long? You were flabbergasted, your merged memories causing you another headache. Oh gosh, this wasn’t even just any Legend of Zelda game. You recognized that scarf and pretty face anywhere. This was Hyrule Warriors. That explains the war, your body recalled. This was just about the worst Legend of Zelda game to be isekai’d into. You willed the Goddesses to take pity on you, but they seemed to be in a joking mood as Link walked straight to your stall. Great.
“I was wondering what smelled so good,” The hero smiled, eyes drifting across the various breads and desserts you were offering. “Heard that your stuff is the best in town.”
“It’s not,” You stated blankly. You were still fighting the urge to run, your fear coming out as indifference. With arms crossed, you squeezed your elbow tightly to get some of your anxious energy out.
Link blinked at your tone, his stance faltering slightly before he straightened up, “Don’t sell yourself short, I’m sure someone as sweet as you wouldn’t have any trouble cooking up something just as sweet.”
‘Wow that was bad,’ you thought. Okay, maybe you were exaggerating, it could’ve been worse…much worse, but you didn’t want him flirting with you in the first place.
“Did you want to buy something?” You asked, tilting your head and getting straight to the point.
“Uh, yeah,” Link fumbled, cheeks tinting a light pink. “Just a pumpkin tart, please.”
“That’ll be five rupees,” You told him, picking up the pumpkin tart. You took his blue rupee with ease, handing him the pastry. “Thank you, come again.”
Link was confused to say the least. Typically people would scramble to gain his business, swoon at his kind words, or even try to flirt themselves. You…you looked disinterested…scared even. Have you done something wrong? Why did you seem to avoid his gaze, shoot down his niceties without a second thought? You were strange, but he could take a hint, leaving your stall with a small nod of his head.
You let out a sigh of relief at that, eying the two girls that were giggling to each other before rushing towards you.
“He talked to you!” Ame squealed, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Her curly brown hair bouncing with her every movement.
“He bought your food!” Fisia exclaimed with a dreamy sigh, blue tunic swaying with her as she shifted side to side. “He’ll see how good of a baker you are and be quick to marry you!”
Your face contorted into a look of disgust, shaking your head vehemently, “Why would I accept? I don’t even know him.” A half lie. You were more worried about the drama that would ensue if Link knew of your origins.
“Because he’s the captain and a hero!” Fisia cried out like you had cursed all her kin.
“Not to mention he’s a total dream of a man,” Ame added. “You would be a fool to deny him.” You merely rolled your eyes at their claims. They had a point but you wouldn’t admit that.
“You act like one meeting has set our future in stone,” You grumbled with a shake of your head. “Are you going to buy something or continue blocking my potential customers?”
“You’re no fun,” Ame huffed.
“A man who has the potential of changing your entire life comes by and you throw it away,” Fisia glared. “If I were you I would’ve jumped at the opportunity.”
“You’re still young,” You waved off their complaints.
“I’m fourteen!” Sniped Fisia. “I’ve already crossed into my womanhood.” You cringed at the thought. Sometimes your blurred memories were a curse as you were forced to watch children married off to adults for social status improvements.
“Whatever you say,” You let out a resigned sigh.
Once again you found your days pass you by. It had been nearly a month since your run in with the fabled hero. You nearly forgot about it, more focused on the smaller aspects of your life. Cleaning clothes, buying groceries, cleaning your house. Life seemed to be a lot simpler here, something you tried not to take for granted. You owned your three story home, something you inherited from your parents. You had a profitable business, you quickly learned bread was life here. No plates, no bowls, bread was used for all that. One thing you will always yearn for is modern plumbing. It felt humiliating going in the nearby river or digging a hole, but everyone did it! Not even an outhouse! You felt like crying at the thought of being able to flush a toilet or wash your hands.
Point is, as used to this world as you were getting, it still seemed like something would flash back about your old life and remind you of advanced technologies you were missing out on. You shook your head, you needed to focus on the task at hand, picking up groceries for your bakery. Paying for the wheat, honey, and fruits, you hefted the heavy bag onto your shoulder, carrying the other goods in a basket. You made your way back through the crowds, weaving around running children and chattery adults. You nodded towards people you recognized, glaring at those who bumped into you. The sun shone down on you, causing sweat to bead at your hairline. All in a day's work.
“Hey, do you need some help?”
At first you thought you overheard someone’s conversation, it was midday and the market was lively, but then that stupidly handsome face popped into your peripheral and those damned crystal blue eyes were aimed right at you.  “I got it,” You replied easily, shifting the bag to sit a bit more comfortably. You almost thought you caught him pouting…
It doesn’t matter, you could see the door to your bakery just a few feet from you, he would just be hindering you more at this point. Besides, wasn’t he not only a knight, but a captain? Shouldn’t he be busy doing…whatever the hell a captain does? Why did you keep managing to catch him when he was free?
Then you ran into your next predicament. Opening your door. Sure, you could set your bundle of wheat down, open the door, then pick it back up, but that would strain your back terribly. You didn’t have long to come up with a plan as the hero picked up on your predicament.
“I knew I could help somehow,” He grinned smugly with a wink. Frustrated. That’s what you felt when your heart flipped at the gesture. Bad heart. Bad feelings. You were supposed to be avoiding this man not falling for him. You pursed your lips, squeezing the handle of your basket as you pass by Link.
“Thank you,” You acknowledged his gesture with a nod, missing his shocked expression.
“Any time,” He replied, smile softening just the slightest.
Your plight had only grown worse from there.
“He’s coming by more often,” Ame giggled, poking at your shoulder.
“Momma says that the hero’s taken a fancy to ya,” Fisia joined, pushing back a dark strand of hair that fell from her braid, sly grin painting her lips.
“Shouldn’t you girls be working?” You huffed, cheeks heating up at their implications. “Or are you trying to get a free sweet from me?”
“Is it working?” Ame asked, Fisia cackling and pushing against her shoulder.
“You two are going to be the death of me,” You shook your head with a sigh, something you found yourself doing more often than not these days.
“You know, my papa said food is a way to a man's heart,” Ame pondered after calming down from her laughter.
“Is that why you’ve been learnin’ more recipes?” You asked, trying to deflect from yourself ever so slightly.
“Mhm,” Ame nodded. “Gotta impress a noble to marry me and I’ll never have to work another day in my life!”
A small chuckle left you at that, “Good luck, it's a noble goal indeed.”
“That’s all the more reason why you should marry Sir Link!” Fisia groans.
They had been feeding too many ideas into your head. You watched with careful eyes as Link interacted with you, the way he leaned towards you, large smile and soft eyes. It was dangerous to roll the idea of dating Link, the legendary hero, around in your mind. It had become more and more tempting as of late. He had managed to make you laugh more than you’d like to admit and you had to give it to him, he was charming when he wanted to be. But you liked him even more when he was being a total dork, it felt a little more real, like he was finally opening up to you.
“Seems like I got lucky,” The familiar voice of the one who cursed your thoughts spoke up.
“One loaf of bread left,” You agreed. “Unless you were craving something sweet.”
“Hmmm,” He hummed while tapping his fingers on the table which currently held your last good before you could close up. An…almost sheepish smile tugged at his lips as his eyes looked everywhere but at you. “Perhaps I could get both?” You raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to clarify exactly what he meant.
The sun continued to fall, its golden rays lighting up his blonde hair in almost an angelic way. It was getting harder to deny your ever growing attraction towards the knight. The streets weren’t that crowded as people started to call it a day, some heading home, others towards the pubs. You yourself we're looking forward to grabbing a book and reading till it was time to call it a night.
“I’ll buy your last loaf…” Link started strongly, his confidence wavering a bit as he continued. “And take you out for a drink?”
Loud. That was the best way to describe your surroundings. A band was playing lively music as people cheered, sang music, and talked over the noise. The scent of alcohol permeated the space as nearly everyone had a pint of mead. A dish of King’s Chicken sat in front of you, the smells of meaty dishes making your stomach growl. You listened intently as Link told you a funny story from his training days, taking small bites to savor the more expensive end of food he had offered to pay for. As out of depth as you felt, you couldn’t help but feel a bit warm. No, not from the people dancing or the heat from the clay oven. It was a warmth that only the man in front of you could make you feel. Lips split in a smile, a laugh escaping every now and then as he gestured erratically to get his point across.
You took small sips of your mead, watching Link down his third glass. He seemed a bit nervous, it seemed like he was drinking to take the edge off. You weren’t sure why he kept seeming more and more nervous around you. Sure, you had been a bit standoffish the first few times you met, but you had gradually warmed up to him. How could you not?
You easily found yourself telling your own story, you had a lot, from bad customers to your own idiocy. You tried to ignore the shy smile that tugged on your lips at the way he leaned towards you, like he was waiting on your every word with bated breath. Your heart fluttered at the sound of his laughter when you said something funny, or how he would scowl when you recalled an irritated customer. You found yourself leaning closer to him as well, excusing it by thinking it was just so you could hear him better.
This was dangerous. You could tell the alcohol was starting to get to him, dilated eyes never straying from you, cheeks turning a rosy pink, words becoming just the tiniest bit more slurred. It was getting late, you may not be opening up shop tomorrow but you still had household chores to do. You felt a bit fuzzy yourself, barely, but after one pint you had called it enough.
“I think I should call it a night,” You yawned, covering your mouth with the back of your hand.
“I’ll walk you home,” Link offered, stumbling to stand up.
“I think I should be walking you home,” You chuckled, standing up as well. The blonde vehemently shook his head, offering you his elbow. You took it and began to walk out of the pub.
“I wouldn’t be a proper knight if I let that happen,” Link explained.
“Alright,” You agreed easily with a cheeky smile.
Stars littered the night sky, many oil lamps snuffed out for the night. The cobblestone streets were dark as you two made your way towards your house. Quiet laughter and teasing remarks filled the air, the odd passer by glaring or piss drunk. As you got closer and closer to your door, you found yourself wishing to hang out with the knight again.
“Thank you, oh valiant hero, for walking me home,” You grinned.
“Anything for you,” He replied without missing a beat, his words a bit too sincere for your poor heart. You stared at each other, seconds feeling like hours, minutes feeling like days. It was like someone put a spell on you, your eyes tracing his features. His eyebrows were relaxed, a small beauty mark rested under his right eye, his pink lips looked oh so enticing. It seemed the same thought was running through his mind as his hand lifted to hold your cheek, calloused palms brushing against smooth skin.
“I think I’m in love with you,” Link whispered, the sounds of crickets and frogs the only background noise. You felt your mind short circuit as his face inched closer, the scent of mead invading your nostrils. “Can I?”
You knew you should say no. You both were intoxicated to an extent, you should wait till you were sober…but he was so close to you. His body heat made your mind turn even fuzzier than before, all rational thought slowly leaving as his lips brushed against your own. You gave in, pressing your lips together in a desperate, needy kiss. Link reciprocated with fervor, pushing you against the door of your house gently in contrast to how his teeth bite at your lower lip.
You suck in a deep breath when you pull away, heart beating erratically as his lips start to trail from your jaw to your neck. You blink rapidly, trying to come back to reality.
“W-wait,” Your breath hitches as he kisses a spot that makes your knees weak. He stops instantly, pulling away just enough to meet your eyes. Dear goddesses are you down bad for him. If you thought his eyes were dilated earlier they’re practically a black hole now. “You’re drunk.” You state, gently pushing against his chest to create some space, to try and regain your sanity.
“It doesn’t make my feelings any less real,” Link murmured, nose brushing against your own sweetly.
“Then tell me tomorrow when our heads are clearer,” You mumble back, caressing his cheek before opening the door and entering your house. “Get home safely.”
It had been days. Your stomach felt like it was twisting in knots. Have you done something wrong? Was he sent away on a mission? Was it the kiss? Was it only a drunk induced mistake? You wanted to puke at the thought. You tried to keep busy. Make your goods, buy groceries, wash your clothes, clean your house. Do anything but let the thought of your feelings not being reciprocated rot and fester.
“We made you somethin’!” Fisia grins as she and Ame run up to your stall. Your desolate expression melts, warming ever so slightly at the girls who you would call friends.
“And what might that be?” You ask with a small grin.
“A friendship bracelet!” Ame exclaims, holding out a bracelet made of linen string. You felt your heart melt at the gesture, taking the gift and holding it reverently.
“Thank you,” You thanked them genuinely. “This means a lot.”
“We all have matching ones now,” Fisia explains, the two of them showing off their matching bracelets. Ame helped you put it on, the two of them happily comparing their hard work. This was the closest you got to a true moment of respite.
Of course the goddesses couldn’t let you have the moment for too long. Ame let out a gasp, tugging at Fisia’s tunic and pointing towards your right. Turning your gaze to what could’ve possibly caught their attention you felt your stomach drop. There stood Link who was slowly walking towards you. He kept his head down, hands fiddling with his iconic scarf.
“You think you can just come back after breaking their heart!” Fisia snarled as she pointed towards the hero. Eyes fell onto the four of you, causing you to shrink at the negative attention. Your cheeks felt like they were on fire, was it that obvious you had fallen for him hook line and sinker? Link’s mouth gaped open before shutting tight, he worried his jaw. He looked absolutely racked with guilt.
“I came to apologize,” Link explained, but it felt like your world stopped. You couldn’t hear what he said next, your heart pounding in your ears. This was it. He was going to tell you it was all a mistake and that he didn’t mean any of it. Your breaths felt short, you wanted to run, you didn’t want to face the problem.
It wasn’t till he was standing in front of you, gently shaking your shoulders and calling your name that you snapped out of your panic. You watched him with wide eyes as he looked at you with concern mixed with regret.
“I’m sorry it took so long,” Link sighed, forehead resting against your own. “I…I was going to come the next day, but then there was an emergency that I had to attend to and I didn’t have any time to write you a letter…” He let out a frustrated sigh. “I love you. I love you so much it scares me. I, I’d be honored if you’d allow me to court you.”
“I was waiting for you to ask you idiot,” You huffed, biting back any more scathing remarks in favor of pulling the hero into another, this time sober, kiss. So absorbed in your own little world, full of relief of happiness that your feelings truly were reciprocated that you didn’t hear the squeals of Ame and Fisia, or the whispers of the other towns folk who watched on. Link didn’t seem to mind either, pulling you flush against him as he savored the taste of your lips on his own.
Perhaps you should thank whoever hit you, as you wouldn’t be in this situation without them.

Chain x Isekai! Reader - Hear Me Out
Tumblr media
The boys have a bet. You're determined to punish them for roping you into it. (Based on the Hear Me Out Cake trend. All characters were submitted by you lovely readers.)
“You grew up playing our games, right?” Wind asks. He has a mischievous smile on his face. “Who’s your favorite?”
“Aww, I could never choose my favorite Link. You nine are all equally a pain in the butt!” You laugh and ruffle Wind’s hair. It’s not even a lie, really. Sure, you prefer some games over others, but how could you possibly choose a favorite?
“Come on, spill!” Legend pipes up, “I got money on this!” Ah. So that was what this was all about. Glancing around, you’re disappointed to see that all the Links are listening in, no doubt all part of the betting pool.
“I mean it. Find someone else to rope into your gambling addiction.” You shake your head at the boys’ antics.
“What about other people?” Hyrule smiles innocently, “what other… uh, characters were your favorite?” It’s an innocent question, but you know it’s dark motive. The boys would simply tally how many people from their games you liked and declare that game the winner. Fine. If that’s how they wanted to be.
“I mean. I had a crush on Beedle when I was in middle school.”
“That guy that likes bugs?” Wild, Wind, and Sky all ask at the same time. They look between each other, surprised for a moment. You can see the gears turning in their heads. How on earth were they supposed to count that? One point each? Unless you meant only one of the Beedles?
“Yeah. He would love me if I was a worm.” You nod sagely, as if the boys would have any idea what that meant.
“Interesting taste.” Warriors snorts, “Any others we should know about? Maybe we can introduce you when we visit our eras.” He elbows your side playfully, but over his shoulder, you can see Four trying to sneakily add tally marks to a piece of paper. They were keeping score. Time to have some fun.
“The King of Red Lions. Boat form.”
“WHAT.” Wind gawks. “Y/N. Y/N, that’s a boat.”
“That’s not even the worst one.” You grin evilly. “I was a very cringe child.”
“What could be worse than having a crush on a literal boat?” Sky grimaces. You think for a moment.
“Batreaux. When he’s a bat. Oh, and Ghirahim, but I think that’s just a given.”
“I’m sorry I even asked.” He cringes.
“Let’s see… who else?” You rack your brain, trying to come up with characters that you had a crush on. There were honestly too many to count. What can you say? Nintendo makes some fine men.
“I’m almost scared to know.” Wild smirks, clearly having fun with this. Oh, that reminds you.
“The Satori was pretty cute.” You say, and Wild falls off the stump he had been perched on.
“The Lord of the Mountain!?” He sputters, “Y/N that’s a GOD.”
“Eh, he’s not the first deity I had a crush on.” You wave your hand dismissively.
“What other deity did you have a crush on?” Sky raises an eyebrow. As the resident Hylia-“enjoyer” he would question you, wouldn’t he?
“Chill, dude. I don’t have a crush on your girlfriend.” Before his cheeks have time to turn pink you continue. “I was talking about Fierce Deity.”
Time begins choking on his own spit. Warriors pats him on the back, but gives you a look somewhere between disgust and disappointment.
“Don’t give me that look!” You cry. “I haven’t even started talking about all the hot villains! You’ll have plenty of time to look at me like that once I actually give you a reason to!”
“Hot villains? Don’t tell me you had a crush on Ganon.” Hyrule wrinkles up his nose in disgust.
“Of course not!” You put a hand on your chest, as if offended by the implication. “I have standards, Rulie.”
“...”
“Ganondorf on the other hand…”
“Please stop.” Hyrule grimaces.
“Y/N. Please tell me you had a crush on one normal person.” Legend begs.
“Does the Happy Mask Salesman count?” You smile. “I love his little laugh.”
“No. No it does not and you know that.” Time sighs and buries his face in his hands.
“Rusl?”
“No! He’s like my dad!” Twilight gasps. He looks personally offended. What? It’s not your fault Twi’s father figure had you saying daddy.
“Fine,” you sigh, “what about Vaati? He’s cute. That’s not weird, right?”
“Which version of Vaati?” Four sounds tired. He has long since given up trying to record your answers for whatever bet the boys had tried using you for.
“...”
“Y/N. Which version of Vaati?”
“...I think you know it’s not his Minish or Hylian form.” You laugh. Four, like Time, buries his face in his hands.
“Okay, surely you have one person that isn’t a boat or a god or a monster.” Legend rubs his temples. Are your antics giving him a headache? Serves him right, you suppose.
“Oh! Do Dark Link or Shadow Link count as normal crushes? They’re cute.” You explain. Four and Time both shoot their heads up, their faces bright pink.
“You had a crush on DARK LINK!?!” Twilight sputters, “As in, the guy that’s been dragging us across time? The guy that stabbed me???”
“That was before I knew him.” You grimace at the reminder of Twi’s wound. Unfortunately, the moment of silence is short-lived.
“Wait, does this mean I won the bet?” Four’s cheeks and the tips of his ears are still dusted pink, but he seems a bit smug now, too. Shoot. Why had you said Shadow Link was cute? That’s basically calling Four cute, too!
“Actually, I think it goes to Time.” Legend counts out on his fingers, trying to remember all the… interesting… comments you had made. “They listed the Fierce Deity and Dark Link.”
“Dang it.” You groan, a blush creeping into your own face.
“You should know better than to try and stop our betting pools, Y/N.” Warriors winks as he collects a rather large pouch from Wind.
“I hate every single one of you.”

For The Dancing And The Dreaming
Guys idk how I’m doing this on mobile I usually post it on my laptop so idk if this will look good. Anyways it’s 4:30 in the morning and this is not edited. I wrote this spur of the moment bc I’m an idiot that doesn’t know how to write.
This is no specific Link! I wrote this bc I’m TRYING to write my own LOZ fic but got distracted. Either way I’m tired
You watch the roaring fire as it flickers in the night. The light from it shines around the area as you exhale softly. There is no point in camping outside anymore, but it's something that the both of you keep doing even after the adventure is over.
It's the familiar feeling of having to take a quick rest before continuing to the next destination. The same feeling of having to rest with each other, having the world shut off, and being able to take a moment.
Footsteps approach your position before coming to a stop beside you, looking up and seeing the person who you; you’ve known your entire life. You're both older than when you first started the journey, for it caused you many physical challenges but still there are moments where you feel as though you’re back to before it all.
Tonight is another night of thinking of the past; the bad and good, your accomplishments and your failures. They all still haunt you to this day even if your deeds were good.
The weight of being back to nothing more than those kids again; the kids who had their own small bubble without knowing more than the whole world. Their only concern is if they'll be caught messing around again, or what new activity you'll try this time before getting bored and going back to the old ways.
A hand gently grasping onto yours pulls you out of your thoughts. Which makes you look up at him and witness the adoring smile he gives you. From the moment everything started he kept looking at you with the same emotion, but if you were to be honest, he held that look far before everything. Link, although not a very talkative person, is able to convey everything that he wants to say in different ways and still be able to express everything.
Watching him change from the boy you used to know to a hero who saved Hyrule; it made you happy to know that you were there the entire time. That he was able to rely on you and your own skills; and how you were able to also rely on him as well.
Never would either you believe that this was your destiny, but you're glad that you both had each other.
And now here you are in each other's presence with the fire in front of you.
"I’m glad that we were in this together, Link." You said softly and curled your fingers around his hand. He hums in agreement and leaned into you; never taking his eyes off you.
No one calls for either of you. There is nobody that needs to be saved anymore.
It's just the both of you once more.
If you were to tell Link before this whole thing started that you'd be with him the entire time. He'd laugh but wouldn't deny it; he'd merely give a look with a shake of his head. Anything that he did, you would be right there and jump in with him.
The both of you were practically inseparable; if he was there doing something then you would probably be somewhere nearby. For as long as Link knew you he could confidently say that he wouldn't trust anyone else than you.
Your unwavering presence motivated him to keep going. Your snarky remarks about the monsters. The way you freely expressed your fear, but still continued to fight. It made him feel a bit better about his own fears. You were his breath of fresh air whenever the journey took a huge toll on him. How you held him during the moments when he was able to take a break; and reassured him that he was only human that couldn’t shoulder everything. You shared his burden without a word and just held him in your arms.
Link liked you.
He always has if he's being honest, but it was during that moment where it fully clicked that he was fully unashamedly in love with you. Link wanted nothing more than to kiss you; to show his love and affection just for you.
Link decided at that moment that he will be there for you from that moment on. He may be Hyrule's Hero, The Golden Goddesses Chosen Hero, forever destined to pick up the Blade of Evil's Bane.
But for you he'll be anything for you.
He will be your hero until the next lifetime. Neither time nor death will separate him from you for he'll always find you no matter what.
Suddenly he stood up and pulled you with him and held you close. Staring into your eyes with many emotions running through them.
“[Name], I want you to know that I love you.” Link spoke softly as he kept holding you. You blink at him since it’s been awhile you’ve heard him call your name; relaxing in his hold you smile.
“You’ve been through this whole thing with me even though I didn’t ask you to,” he continues, “So now, I want to be there for you with anything you need. I love you and I can’t see myself without you being near me.” He confesses.
He would do anything just to have you by his side, “I would bring you gems, jewelry; I will defend you from any creature that tries to hurt you, if you’ll have me-” Link chokes up a bit as he feels his emotions take a hold of him.
You reached out and held his face in your hands, and brought him closer to you. “I don’t have any use for gems nor jewelry. I don’t care if you can protect me or not, I will gladly stay by you.”
Laughing gently at your words, Link places his head onto yours as you run your fingers through his hair. “My dear, I could never be cruel to deny you nor my love. As long as I’m beside you; I am satisfied.” You continued before closing your eyes and leaning onto him.
The world may never call for Link anymore, but that’s fine with him. As long as he has you he’ll forever be hopelessly in love.

Note
just read your majoras mask post and i wish i could hug young link so bad😭 I then thought of what would happen if its LU and reader stumbles upon Time, who hasn't seen them since Majoras Mask. The reunion would either be devastating or really cute since hes old and seeing a parental(ish) figure again😭🩷
UR SO BIG BRAIN ANON. FUCK, I CAN NEVER MAKE HIM HAPPY
making a big strong leader be sad and cry for his parental figure fuels me with so much joy
It's a quiet night for the Chain as they all chatted amongst each other while setting up camp for the night. Wild is preparing a a fire, so he could make plans for dinner with Warriors helping him by going through the recipes that he saved on his slate. Wind, Legend and Hyrule are sitting together and speaking about their homes; Wind mostly talking about how he misses his younger sister and his grandma.
Twilight has left to keep an survey the surrounding area. Separate from the group so he could transform into his wolf form without the others knowing. Sky and Four are besides the cook and captain as they had a soft conversation about Sky's sword during his time in the Knight Academy, and when he was forging the Goddess Blade/Master Sword.
Meanwhile Time is sitting a bit farther away; not too far that he couldn't hear them but he's able to have his own space. He’s been feeling heavy these days as it takes a mental toll on him. Attempting to be the voice of reason isn’t easy even though he is in a body that now matches his mind.
Time doesn’t understand the heaviness that he has been feeling as their journey continues; the years long exhaustion seeping into his bones as he watches the rest interact with each other. A small nagging in his skull refuses to allow him a moment of relief. Urging him to get up and not stay idle which causes the older man to let out a sigh.
Which turned out to be a good idea when two sets of footsteps could be heard approaching the camp. Time turned to look at where the noise was approaching which in turned caused the rest of the hero’s to tense up slightly.
If old man Time notices something first, the others will follow suit. Instead of the noise of monsters which most of them can recognize; it was instead the voice of Twilight with a familiar one in tow. Everyone relaxed when they realized it was the Rancher, but were curious on who was he bringing. It was unusual for him to bring a civilian into their camp.
Except as soon as they were in view it made sense. The civilian was roughed up and had scratches and scrapes all over their body as if they had been running away from something. Although they acted as if they were fine, smiling and making exaggerated gestures for Twilight. A slight distraction one as would a parent would to distract a child from something
It seemed to work as Twilight was fully engaged in conversation and only broke out of it when Hyrule reacted first and approached them. They smile at Hyrule and began introducing themselves as the boy checks up on the civilian, upon seeing the injuries on them.
That voice. Time’s ear gave a slight twitch upon hearing them speak, as a sudden coldness enveloped his body. He knows that voice. Holy shit, Time fucking recognized who is speaking to Hyrule and Twilight.
Time needs to step away; as he felt his own body began to tremble at the memories of his past adventures with them. He can’t show weakness in front of the others. If he starts acting up then everyone will become suspicious of them even though they have done no wrong.
Quickly he gets up before approaching Warriors and muttered some excuse about him needing to take a walk. Warriors, who understands that Time had a lot on his plate recently, agreed and reassured that he and Twilight will keep watch over everyone.
In an instant, Time is walking away from the group as he felt someone’s gaze on his back.
The sun is gone by the time he returns to the camp.
Time curses himself for leaving for so long. He wasn’t supposed to be gone for a long time; he merely needed time to recollect his thoughts and get his act together before approaching them again.
The scarred man lets out as sigh once he catches sight of the campfire. His body slowly begins to relax once he spots the rolled out bedrolls that are occupied by the rest of the group.
As he nears closer he counts the ones who a sleeping, noticing that the only one that isn’t asleep is Wild. Said man is by the fire and already staring at the older hero and quietly goes up to him, “Time, you’re back.” He states softly, trying not the wake the others from their sleep.
Time nods and scans the younger man for anything that could be bothering him, “Yes, sorry for being gone until nightfall, it wasn’t my intention I just-“
“Needed to clear your head?” Wild interrupts with a small smile of understanding. In which Time lets out a small sigh before humming in agreement.
“Is everything alright? How was….the civilian that the Ranch hand brought?” He asked.
As if barely remembering about them Wild slightly shuffled on his feet, “They’re fine! It’s just that……”
The Hero of Time raises a brow at him, “Did something happened while I was gone?” He questioned as he placed his hands on his hips.
“No! Nothing bad happened it’s just, they were determined to repay us by keeping watch and letting us all rest,” Wild responds before turning away and looks behind him; Time follows his gaze. Sitting away from them on a log near the edge of camp is them; staring out into the woods and appears to be keeping watch as Wild says.
”Huh….. I would’ve assumed that one of you would be weary of letting a stranger be in charge of your safety.” Wild lets out a slight wince at his words, and a hand comes up behind his neck as he remembers what happened a few hours prior.
“You’re not wrong, in fact the Veteran was the first one to express his distaste at the idea who was then backed up by Wars.”
Wild explains how after the two voiced their opinions and how they’re greatful at the thought, but they didn’t trust them. The civilian nodded in understanding before they began interacting with the rest. Somehow as the sun was begun to set and everyone ate their meals; did they all began to grow tired as their journey from today hit them unusually hard.
Warriors pulled Wild to the side and explained how Time was still out there and how they might need to go search from him, but that was when the Civilian spoke up. Saying how they’re sure that he’ll arrive soon and to soothe their worries they’ll stay up to wait for his return.
Reluctantly, Warriors agreed as his exhaustion doubled before crawling into his bedroll and promptly passing out. Leaving Wild and them awake as Wild fights off sleep; keeping them company as they waited for Time to return.
“I know it’s ridiculous for a group of hero’s to lower their guard to someone unfamiliar, but for some reason…. I feel as if……”
“As if you know them from somewhere?” Said Time gently, now understanding where he was coming from. Wild nodded as he looked down, finally realizing how tired he was.
Time put his hands on Wild’s shoulders and gave them a comforting squeeze, “I’m here now, go rest.” He says softly with a slight tone of appreciation, “Thank you, for waiting Wild.”
The young man nodded before walking limply to his own bedroll and collapsing as well.
He watched Wild fall asleep completely as an attempt to delay the inevitable, but Time knew it was futile and he knew that they would still be waiting. After a few moments passed did he begin to walk over to the edge of camp where they sat.
He sat down next to them without thinking twice, but didn’t look at their face. He had a feeling that string holding himself together would snap if he looked at them.
But it would be broken anyway since they made the first move.
“I’m sorry for leaving without goodbye.”
Time tenses before dropping his face into his hands, letting out a silent sob, in an attempt to hide himself from view.
A gentle hand lands in his hair as it begins to comb through it, and once more he’s pulled back into his memories during his journey through Termina. Of the same hand running through his hair in the aftermath of a battle that took a toll on him.
Losing all strength that is holding himself together; Time collapses on himself and curls up to them. Losing all rationality and just wants to be held by them again as he clings on their clothes.
“It’s okay, I’m here now Link.”
Their voice calls out to Time as their other arm wraps around his back to hold him closer. As he cries to himself as the memories of Termina returns full force, the amount of times he failed the people of the town. The moments where he messed up and had to start over again-
He failed to save that girl’s father.
He failed to reunite Kafei and Anju.
He failed to protect Romani from those monsters.
He failed-
Humming interrupts his train of thought as he opens his eyes in shock. The feeling of a hand rubbing his back and another in his hair brings him back to them, as he leans his head on their chest.
Relaxing into their hold as he listens to their heartbeat and to their humming of a familiar song.
Finally.
Someone else sings for his sorrows to heal.

A Fierce Dillema
Pairing: Fierce Deity x Reader
Warning(s): None, just some introspective fluff and controlled chaos with everyone's favorite deity <3
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“(Y/n).”
You awoke to the gentle calling of your name and a firm hand on your shoulder. A groan left you as you tried to turn away, to hide in the downy pillows and scattered sheets of your bed, but the voice was too persistent to ignore. A quick glance at your nightstand revealed that it was four in the morning, which was only cemented by the fact that the sun hadn’t even risen yet.
“(Y/n),” the voice, oddly familiar, continued to press. “Wake up.”
Wake up, he said. You already had an inkling of who would dare disturb your slumber, and it only became clear when you saw the Fierce Deity’s silver-haired reflection on the glossy surface of your alarm clock. He was wearing his armor and that blade of his was secured to his back, which undoubtedly meant something significant had occurred since you bid him and the other boys goodnight six-ish hours ago. “Oh my god, what happened?”
There was a slight pause. You could practically feel the tension through the calloused hand on your bare shoulder and sincerely hoped he hadn’t gone out and killed someone… or set the kitchen on fire. Again. You weren’t sure which was worse, because at least a body was easy enough to hide when you had nine heroes at your disposal.
“Can humans consume deer meat?”
What?
You had to physically turn around to convey the bafflement you were currently feeling. Ever the gentleman, he removed his hand a took a respectful step backward. Now facing each other, you looked him straight in the eye and asked: “Is there a deer in my kitchen?”
“Yes.”
“...Is it for breakfast?”
“Yes.”
…Okay. You were an adult, so you would handle it as such. It was a minor miracle that he had the foresight to talk to you before attempting to use your stove (you hoped). Besides, you did say that you were going to teach the boys about your world until another portal showed up to dump them somewhere else, and Fierce would be no exception. “I’ll be down in five. Do I need to watch meat-cleaning videos or did you put that sword to use?”
The Fierce Deity, destroyer of gods and civilizations alike, looked almost offended by your assumption of his sword usage. You watched, amused, as his voice took on a scolding tone. “I would never, it is much too large for such a task.”
“Whatever you say, buddy,” you slid out of bed with the grace of a waterlogged snail, arranging the blankets in some haphazard semblance of a made bed. Fierce quickly made himself scarce, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
Your relationship with the deity was an… unusual one. You had been cleaning when you accidentally knocked over Time’s precariously placed traveling pack, only for a vaguely-humanoid mask to fall out. You proceeded to snatch it up and the shit that followed was wild enough to be the star of a bestselling novel on booktok, because there was no other way to describe it when a seven-foot, fully-armored man materialized two feet away wielding a sword that was as long as you were tall. Chaos had ensued and a fight nearly broke out between the newcomer and Sky, of all people, in your kitchen until Time managed to calm everyone down. From then on, he had simply coexisted in your home, though there were occasionally spats between him and the other boys. Traditionally, Time was the one to break it up when it happened, but you also discovered you yourself had some sway to him when you screamed loud enough.
Recently, however, Fierce had become unusually devoted to helping out around the house, going so far as to attempt to duel Wild for the right to cook dinner. It had taken a full minute of scolding to get him to pipe down and watch Family Feud with the others, though you got the vague sense that he was pouting as he watched you from the couch. His behavior only ramped up when your boss blessed (cursed) you with more hours at work and you returned home to learn that, in the span of five hours, he had managed to not only break your vacuum cleaner, but nearly kill the mailman for “invading your territory”, to which you informed him that things were drastically different in your world and promptly bought a “guard dog on duty” sign to hand on your mailbox.
A quiet creak of the floorboards outside reminded you of who you were keeping waiting. With a muffled curse, you threw on a half-decent shirt, leaving your axalotle pj pants right where they were, and dashed outside to meet the deity. He was leaning against your wall, arms crossed over that mouthwateringly muscled chest (you had eyes), but seemed to snap to attention when you barreled into the hallway. “Let’s cook this bitch!”
And so you did. While the gorey mess practically dripping from your island wasn’t particularly enthusing, you sucked it up and retreived a pan, turning the stove to the max. A bit of oil later and you had a butchered flank roasting on the front burner, while a large pot filled with bones boiled away. Fierce was very considerate of your lack of knowledge on this sort of thing, quietly handing you the finished cuts when you requested them. He hardly spoke, choosing to listen as you prattled on about nothing in particular. Within the hour, you had an entire pile of roasted meat on a serving plate, and several members of the chain had begun to trickle in, likely drawn by the delicious scent of food. It was only when everyone was downstairs did you notice that he had disappeared. Despite the minor fuss the younger boys raised, you grabbed some food and went to find him.
It was on the woodpile in the very corner of your property where you tracked him to. Even with his impressive bulk, there was still space to sit on the stacked logs, so you plopped down happily. Fierce looked at you with a surprised expression, but said nothing. So you did instead, offering him the plate. “I hope you know I’m not going to let you run off without eating after all you did.”
He took the plate. “It is nothing.”
You shrugged and began peeling the orange you snagged earlier. “Maybe to you, but not to me. You gave us a break and I’m grateful.”
“I stole sleep from you.”
“And?” You honestly had no idea why he thought you cared about that. Sure, waking up early sucked sometimes, but you weren’t made of glass. You popped an orange slice into your mouth. “I’m an adult.”
There was silence, but it wasn’t as uncomfortable as one would think. The sun had long since risen, bathing you in warm golden hues that not even the gentle breeze could chill. It didn’t even dawn on you how strange you must have looked–sitting next to an actual deity while dressed in a stained t-shirt and printed animal pants–or how unusual your life had become.
“I have a question,” said the deity. You listened intently before answering–it wasn’t often that he initiated conversation and you didn’t want to spoil it.
“...I have an answer.”
If you had looked closely, you would have seen the subtle quirk of his usually flat mouth before his expression reformed to something more solemn. You wondered if you should have mentally prepared for this conversation. “You do not fear me… why?”
You blinked, trying to process what had just been said to you. “Excuse me?”
As if sensing your baflement, the Fierce Deity elaborated: “I could end your existence with a sweep of my sword. Thousands have recognized this, but you either deny or remain oblivious to it.”
Ouch? You knew little of his backstory beyond being imprisoned in a mask for countless years by someone named Hylia for–... well, you don’t think he had informed you, but it was far from warranting fear. If he had wanted to hurt you he would have done so already. You were honestly a bit offended he thought so little of you. “Is that all you think there is to it? I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again: you’ve done nothing to warrant my fear, so I don’t know where you’re getting this from,” you paused, realizing how harsh you sounded. “...Sorry, I just… I don’t see you that way.”
“Then how do you see me?” asked the deity, and you were caught off guard by the genuine curiosity in his pupil-less eyes. Was he… self conscious? It was a laughable thought, that the Fierce Deity was capable of such an emotion, but it was the only one that made sense in this dance of conversation.
That begs the question… how did you see him? ‘A person’ was your first thought, but it was what anyone would say. An acquaintance? Yes, but then it made your relationship seem almost transactional, which was not what you were aiming to convey. He was clearly looking for reassurance beneath that stoic facade and you knew an opportunity like this wouldn’t come again.
“A friend,” the words rolled off your tongue before you could stop them, but what could you do besides continue? “You’re my friend.”
It was simple, really, though that didn’t stop him from looking completely and utterly baffled. “You consider me… a friend?”
Why did it sound like such an affront when he said it like that? Your orange was long gone, but it didn’t stop you from fiddling with the peelings in your hands. “I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t mean it,” you responded honestly, because, really, you wouldn’t have. “You don’t sound like you have many friends.”
There was a sort of bitter melancholy in his tone that you knew all too well. “I have none.”
You grinned and reached up to pat his shoulder, emboldened by the rising light and your own sense of duty. “Until now.”
For the first time in forever, The Fierce Deity, vanquisher of worlds and gods alike, smiled. Truly smiled. You could have sworn his porcelain cheeks seemed a little less stark when he took your hand, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of it like in the fantasy novels you read as a child. Then, before you could choke out a flustered response, he leaned close and said. “I vow to not disappoint you.”
It was almost impressive how quickly you recovered from the shock of his actions. With a small laugh, you laid your hand on his shoulder, warm as an inferno, and whispered. “You could never.”

idk if requests are still open, but if so, would you be willing to do some more player!reader and oot/mm young Link with a big/little sibling or parent/child kind of relationship? Not necessarily in a LU or HW context but can be if u wanna. If requests are in fact closed feel free to disregard this lol. Love your writing! <3
JHDFHBEFVINEW I LOVE MAJORA'S MASK LINK SMMM HE'S MY SON
I can definitely do a stand alone version!! Sometimes it's nice to just gush about Majora's Mask! Also thank you for reading my silly stories, I'm so glad you and others are enjoying <33 I'm sorry if it's short and yknow just realized I can never make him be happy, sorry it's how I show affection.
The blood in his ears is roaring as the young boy tries to get his breathing under control as he stares up at the Clock Tower. In a few hours he'll have to go up and face the Skull Kid again, but this time he won't have to play the Song of Time again just to prepare. The boy feels his throat swell up just by thinking about it. His vision on the edge of blurring as he tries to will the tears away.
He's nervous yet he shouldn't be, this fight is nothing compared to his battle with Ganon. At least, he didn't fail this town for 7 years. Except Ganon was a battle that was determined for him long before he was born, this one was something that was just thrown upon him. In his heart he can't allow these people to die by the falling moon.
His view of the clock tower is ruined by the tears he tried desperately not to let fall. He's stuck as a 10 year old even if mentally he was no longer the fairy boy that began this journey. Barking from the wild dog in the square isn't helping with his mood, nor is the loud voices of the construction workers as they prepared for the festival. Some stubborn to pretend that their home wouldn't be destroyed by the grinning moon.
Until the sound of footsteps coming closer to him causes him to tense up, and attempt to wipe the tears away. A shadow is cast over his face as it goes down as the person gently guides his face lower to face them. His tears freely fall down his cheeks as his smaller hands clutch the ones holding him. Link's eyes open to look at the person who's kneeling in front of him.
A soft smile is on their face once Link's eyes has opened up. [Name] stares down at him fondly; there is no hint of disgust nor any emotion of exasperation on their face. In all honesty, they were getting a bit worried about him since this entire journey he was putting on a brave front.
That's right.
[Name] has been exploring with him from the moment he entered Termina as a Deku Scrub. He remembers meeting them for the first time inside the Clock Tower with the Happy Mask Salesman, an eccentric man, who would help Link, return to how he was, in return for his mask. [Name] was there with them and volunteered to assist Link in collecting it; their excuse was that it would be better if he had a helping hand. although tatl would disagree at first.
Link was unsure of [Name] when they left the tower. He didn't know if they joined, purely for the thought of wanting to help him, or because they had alternative motivations. But it was shown that they did wanted to help him without anything in return. Assisting in playing hide-n-seek with the Bomber gang, and exploring the Astral Observatory.
When the first three days were ending and they stood side by side, staring up at the Skull Kid watching as he called the Moon closer, did an idea form in his head. Using the ability of the deku; he struck at the imp and was able to obtain his ocarina. Link quickly holds onto his instrument and is about to play until he stops to stare at [Name].
[Name] was smiling at him and for a moment he's reminded of ----
His breath hitches as he realized who they were, and why their voiced sounded so familiar. He slowly pulls away from the ocarina, but they speak up, "Don't falter now, Link. I'll be with you from the beginning. Save Termina."
Upon his return and being able to return as a human did he actively seek them out and dragged [Name] around in search of the four giants across the land. From exploring the swamp, and helping the monkey prove his innocence, to saving the Deku Princess from the temple, and fighting the boss. Did [Name] stuck through with him, and was quite adept at the bow and arrows they arrived with.
Link never questioned how [Name] remembered the first cycle, nor did he ask if they remembered his first journey; too afraid that they'll react negatively. So once more they explore the land together and they're together for every cycle until they were ready to face Majora. Enjoying the presence of a someone he once thought was lost forever.
But each cycle wears him down. The never ending thinking and planning about what is needed to do next. When Link acquired the bomber's notebook and realized that the people of Termina has regrets that hasn't been recovered. He placed the burden of the people's wishes on his shoulders with the intent of making sure that when he leaves. The people are happy.
Yet here he stands crying out for comfort as his own mask of strength crumbles. [Name] soothingly running their hand through his hair as they hummed the Song of Healing for him. Link clutches onto their clothes as he openly weeps. He mourns Hyrule for the 7 years he was gone, he mourns Saria, the Deku Tree and the children of the korkiri forest, his home. The childhood that stripped away from him the moment he chose to save Hyrule.
Finally, he mourns the feeling of [Name] leaving him when his journey ended. Leaving him alone and become desperate to leave just to search for them. Link lost the only person he could truly call family and has now reunited again, but for how long?
So, Link plays the Song of Time.
He takes them back to the Dawn of the First Day.
He just wants to spend more time with them.
For once, the world can wait three more days.
When he opens his eyes; he's back at the entrance of Clock Tower as Tatl is shouting at him about why he decided to go back in time. Link ignores the temperamental fairy and carries himself over to [Name]. Who waits for him, without fail, in the area where the Great Fairy resides. The same accepting and knowing smile on their face as they embrace the young boy with open arms.

A thought that I shared with a couple of mutuals, cause I cannot shut up about Stardew Valley right now. Imma mix mash my favs together and make y'all spiral with me.
Tumblr media
You, the only beloved grandchild of your grandfather, was given a letter by your grandfather who was on his last leg, filled with information regarding his left behind farm and cottage in your name. He told you when the day comes that when you've grown tired of the city and yearn for a life free from the shackles of the ever growing demand of corporates and nonstop hustle bustle. The farm and cottage will be waiting until you are ready. Years passed and of course, you become tired, exactly what your grandfather told you would. With no thoughts to spare to the city you left behind and little clothes on your back. Quitting your job, you head towards Pelican Town.
The mayor was friendly, save for the carpenter that definitely made you laugh until she made a jab at your grandfather's cottage. While you could agree, since it's honestly not much, yet you'll make do with what you got for now and add things on later. However, the slight pang went through your heart at the disrespect she gave to him. Before the mayor could set off, he highly encouraged you to introduce yourself to the entire town. He then goes over with you about the shipping container, what to put in there while handing you a sack filled with parsnip seeds. He also gestures to the tools he was able to get you that were sitting on the porch, with a wordless pat of good luck, he sets off down the road back to the town.

MEET OUR BACHELORS
First: Single (Bachelor)
Meeting First was quite quick since the man was known to be busy and quite on the run to get things done before heading back to the adventurer's guild that his great uncle runs. He was short in his greetings to you and apologized swiftly that he had to be somewhere.
It may not seem like it, but this man is definitely a poet with words. Chivalrous, that had his great uncle playfully rolling his eyes at his nephew.
Yet there's something underlying mysterious about him that drew you in to him. Perhaps you should gift him things and get to know him a little more better!
Sky: Single (Bachelor)
The eldest son of the carpenter! He lives down southeast of Lon Lon Ranch. He's the absolute sweetest person you've ever met in your entire life. The bright smile on his sleepy face had you mentally cooing at him.
He carves, paints, builds little bird houses just like what his mother use to do. He definitely decorates his home each time the season changes, it's so damn adorable.
He's single due to a breakup that did not end on good terms unfortunately. While he still respect her, however, there are things that were said that ended up hurting the other.
Four: Single (Bachelor)
The grandson of the blacksmith. He was working behind the counter when your fresh face entered the shop. Obviously, a little put off since not many people tend to flock to Pelican Town. He's a bit shy yet he makes small talk just to get to know you better. Until his grandfather emerged and the look on his face had him laughing.
Yeah, he ain't laughing anymore when his grandfather told him 'that's the kid you used to play with all the time when you were younger.'
He takes the tools you got and upgrades them or process the geodes that you tend to bring in.
Time: Single (Bachelor)
The working left hand man of Lon Lon Ranch. This man scared the absolute shit out of you when he showed up on your front porch that morning. To open a door to a towering, one eye, scarred man was not on your bingo card of shit you witness while living here.
He was straight to the point of who to come to when buying animals whenever you get your barn and coop up n going.
He's someone you want to be careful around, an anger you do not want aimed towards you. That mask you saw sitting on his belt felt ominous. He's hard to get warm up to.
Twilight: Single (Bachelor)
You were just planting the parsnip seeds when you heard a bark come from behind you and yelling from someone telling to 'Come back!' A black and white dog ran up on your porch with its tail wagging a mile a minute. A cute dirty blonde haired male came jogging up with an exasperated look before realizing you were the new farmer there.
He was embarrassed yet quickly introduced himself. The adopted son of Uli and Rusl's, the older brother to Colin and his soon to be born little sister. He also works at Lon Lon Ranch.
He's hiding something.
Hyrule: Single (Bachelor)
The doctor of the town. A shy sweetheart that introduced himself to you after you came in due to an already early incident on the farm. He scolds you gently for doing something stupid and rash.
May or may not have told you one day that he wasn't getting enough patients which affected his pay heavily.
Man has unprocessed trauma.
Wild: Single (Bachelor)
He runs the saloon, all by himself, save for his friend Flora does tend to come help him to keep things smooth and sailing when it gets packed. He was friendly enough to introduce himself to you when seeing you pass him on your way to Ravio's General Store.
He def encouraged you to take a load off once and awhile to relax in his Saloon.
He doesn't remember his old life, it seems like he doesn't want to either way.
Warriors: Single (Bachelor)
The older brother to Wind and Aryll. House is on the beach and he's dramatic as hell yet he comes in later on year 2 of your life on the farm. He introduced himself first thing in the morning and he's a bit stiff about it.
He's the only soldier(?) in Pelican Town and ties to the city, he seems so tired and run down honestly.
He's doing his absolute best to raise Wind and Aryll after the funeral of their grandmother.
Legend: Single (Bachelor)
The lone wizard that "summoned" you to his tower to gift you the language of the Junimos. Just to be able to easily translate the language and to fix up the community center.
His sassy attitude def threw you off yet he's standoffish. Only asking you of things he needed from the mines.
He seems to be mourning something.
Ravio: Single???
The owner of Ravio's General Store. The sight of his bunny ear hat sat upon his head was the first thing that caught your eyes. His eagerness to greet you while showing you the package of seeds he was given, showing off the wares he gotten.
The sight of his broken heart made yours clench when one of the workers of Joja mart came in and declared loudly that things were on sale for 50% off. He's trying his best, but the income is needed.
Is finding ways to take down Joja Mart

AAAAAAAH I LOVE YOUR WRITING !!! i saw your requests were open so im wondering if you could do Legend or warriors (whichever you prefer!) with a reader who's extremely afraid of butterflies like they see one and are already halfway across the forest! like immediate sprinting away
AHHH! TY FOR YOUR TIME :D
KAHSKSHSIW THIS IS SO ME. I TOO FREAK OUT WHEN A BUTTERFLY COMES NEAR ME-
ALSO IM SO SORRY THAT I TOOK SO LONG??? IM SO TERRIBLE MY BAD I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU REBLOGGING MY STUFF <3333
Legend:
The crunching of leaves can be heard all around as the mindless chatter among the group can be heard in the room.
The Chain has allowed themselves to rest after Wild introduced them to the Great Deku Tree. Old man nature welcomed the various heroes and their companion to rest. He is slightly found of the young adult who interacts kindly to the children of the forest.
Speaking of the Koroks, they are currently giggling and flying about as they played with [Name]. They seemed to be playing a simpler version of hide-n-seek. The koroks are giggling behind their hands as they tried to quiet their laughter. [Name] pretends for a moment that they are unable to find, and loudly calls for their name.
Watching them for a moment as he smiles in content before focusing his attention on his inventory. [Name]'s laughter is heard and the following giggling and shrieking of the Koroks being found. Quickly rushing away, desperately trying not to be caught do the koroks move. [Name] laughing loudly; not moving from their spot since they found it too amusing.
The Hero moves his attention towards his pouch, making sure that none of his items are misplaced. Knowing that the young koroks are curious and mean no harm, he's content for the time being. Enjoying the moment of being able to relax and not being hunted down by malice blooded monsters.
A loud shriek is heard as Legend's ears twitch at the sound. A sound that came from the person who he thought was safe. He saw them play with the koroks just a second ago. Without hesitation he stands up from his place and moves his body to the sound.
"[Name]!?"
The sight that greets Legend is comical. [Name] pushing themselves against a tree as they stare at the little creature on a koroks hand. it's giggling as it brings it closer them as they let out a small sound of fear. Legend walks over to see what made them scream, and taking a closer look at the creature is a small butterfly.
The butterfly calmly stands on the hand, and gently flaps it's wings in a calm motion. It's antennae would twitch here and there but it wasn't really moving.
This confuses Legend as he gently grabs [Name] and pulls them away from the tree. But they refuse to move from the spot as they make dead eye contact with the butterfly. "Are you alright? Do you want to move from this place?" He asked but [Name] just shook their head and refused to move an inch. Slowly moving his focus back onto the butterfly as he thought he saw movement. The korok inched closer to them which caused the butterfly to twitch and fly forward.
It was like a chain reaction when that happened.
The korok moves, then the butterfly moves forward. Which then causes [Name] to scream once more and quickly back away, but Legend was still holding onto them. It made the both of them fall onto the ground; both keeping an eye onto the butterfly. Legend blinks before shaking his lover, "Did you seriously react that negatively to a tiny fucking butterfly!?!"
"They just as bad as spiders, Legend!" They shouted back at him with a slight voice crack as the butterfly flies away from them. A harsh sigh escapes from his lips. As he rolled his eyes before grabbing them and dragging them away. The little korok giggling in the background/
___________________________________________________________
Warriors:
Warriors looks down at the map that Twilight lent him. It's a miniature copy of the outside of Twilight's castle town; he asked Warriors for a favor and gave him the map to help him. It was to search for a certain bug that has a unique color that should be easy to spot because of it. Wars had no problem with it, so he agreed to go and look for it.
[Name] found out about his little exploration and decided that they wanted to go with him to keep him company. Warriors didn't mind and readily agreed; silently cheering since he wanted a bit of alone time with them.
Both of them rode together with rented horses from castle town as they neared an area on where the bug was supposed to be. Wars looked up from the map when they heard [Name] shuffled from behind; they gently got off and patted their horse to soothe them. They smiled up at him before speaking, "Just wanted to stretch my legs for a bit since I noticed us slowing down."
Wars returned their smile before sliding off himself, "No worries, we're already in the area on where it should be." [Name] nodded before walking around for a bit and resting underneath a tree. Beside the tree is a cliff that has a group of of flowers near the edge.
Warrior's steps forward and begins searching at the tree and the surrounding area. He remembers Twilight saying that this was an easy way to obtain money since the person who collects these bugs offer a huge sum or rupees. That caught his attention, someone who paid a a lot just for some bugs? Count him in.
[Name] joined in because they wanted to spend time with Wars. Plus have an in depth look at Twilight's Hyrule. They remember the land being big and having space as well as beautiful from their screen. And they were right, the graphics on the game didn't do the actual place justice. Just even exploring castle town itself was a shock! The game showed an always moving place, but actually experiencing it was different.
A small sound of jingle can be heard from which caught the attention of the two them. Wars noticing it because it was something that was told to him that he was near the bug, but [Name] slightly tensed up because they finally realized what that noise meant.
Warriors looked up at the cliff, squinting a bit he noticed that faint sparkle of color. It moved in between the flowers that are near the edge before it showed itself fully and slowly flew down gently near them. He perked up and stayed stilled but kept his focus on it; he wasn't going to scare it away and lose rupees.
Meanwhile [Name] eyed the butterfly as it came closer to them. Fuck, they should've told Warriors before hand. With zero hesitation they crawled away from Wars and the butterfly, and with a safe distance away from them did they sprinted away.
Wars to preoccupied on staying still so he wouldn't startle the golden bug. Before quickly snatching it once it was in reach for him. Grinning widely he turned towards [Name] to show them, but didn't see them near the tree.
Spinning around before he caught a glimpse of their [color] tunic a good feet away from him. "Oh wow! Did you catch it? Cool! Don't come near me with it in your hands" They exclaimed as they eyed his hands with slight fear. Wars staring for a moment before it clicked in his head, "Are you afraid of butterfly, [Name]?"
"Pfft- Whaat! No way I'm just- NO WARS STAY AWAY FROM ME"

Kabdkajs thank you for liking my story! <3
GAGGGRGRGRG IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO THE ASK BOX WHEN I SAW UR REQUEST WERE OPEN I LOVE YOUR WRITING SO MUCH IM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH, WOULD IT BE ALRIGHT TO ASK FOR A PART 3 TO THE PLAYER HAS YHE FIERE DEITY MASK??? IF NOT JUST IGNORE THIS REQUEST!!! HAVE A GOOD DAY
Tumblr media
HSDFBAEJRBFUHVFDB HOLY CRAP??? I DIDN'T EXPECT FOR YOU GUYS TO HONESTLY LIKE THE FIERCE DEITY STORY.
Once again! It's short so my bad. When I first wrote this it was supposed to be just 1 part lol didn't expect y'all to genuinely like it. :)
Characters: Time, Fierce Deity, and Reader
Warnings: None
The silence was so loud after those words were spoke.
The group of blondes all looked at the eldest in fear that the man would just pounce on the poor individual who, quite obviously, has no idea on what is going on. Who has just simply grown attached to the first thing that showed them kindness after being woken up in a place that wasn't their home.
"What in the actual fuck?"
Time is regretting even trying to bargain with the individual as they hold one the most dangerous mask, in their hands.
Every fiber of his being is screaming at him to simply lunge for it, but Time's rational part of himself is refusing to submit. It would be unfair to them. Really, the person looked exhausted, their body tensed as if they were fighting moments before they arrived. There was also a slight hint of fear and caution in their eyes as they scanned him and his friends. Subtle signs that they might've used the mask before they arrived, which surpised him that the young adult is still standing.
Said person flinched back at his words. Unconsciously fidgeting with Fierce Deity in their hands. "He says your name is, Link," they continued with a look of hopefulness as they made eye contact with Time's eyes.
"That you could help me? That you were taken by this freaky shadow thing-" [Name] ranted on as their posture slowly relaxed. In return, Time's shoulders slumped slightly as he stares at them.
Eventually [Name] drifted off and stared hesitantly at Time. Searching for any more signs of hostility since he did look like he was going to fucking tackle them into the ground earlier. If they were to even move an inch.
A familiar chuckle echoed in their head. "You aren't wrong there, little one" Fierce Deity teased. "The young hero used to always dive head first into situations without a plan." The Deity merely found this entire thing amusing, and was he going to enjoy it as much as he can.
[Name] tenses up. Okay, they may not know what the fuck is going on, and it's really unfair that the Fierce Deity mask? Person? Has a really hot voice.
"I swear to god, if you say shit like that unannounced I'm going to throw you-"
"Excuse me?"
A noise of fear escaped from [Name's] lips at the acknowledgement. Their hands loosened for a moment before squeezing as if they were warning the entity in the mask. A hesitant smile appears on their mouth as they look up at the older man.
'Holy fuck- if I'm holding the Fierce Deity mask then that means I'm speaking to Link-'
[Name] does a double take at the blonde. He's quite tall, no longer the small hero that ran around helping the land of Termina and Hyrule. The young boy is nonexistent but they believe he hasn't been that youthful optimistic child he once was for a long time.
When did their precious boy get freaking tall??? Wasn't most versions of Link smaller than the average Hylian?
"I wasn't talking to you! The mask said something stupid so I-"
"He can speak to you?? What- you can hear him??"
"My brother in christ if you interrupt me again, I'm walking the other direction."
A smooth deep laugh echoed in their head at the short responses. Fierce Deity relished in this moment; the familiar bickering between the older hero and the young guide.
It brought him back to the moment during the Hero of Time's journey. During the final fight with Majora, the Fierce Deity was conscious during the entire battle. Giving his strength to the young hero and his guide. A moment where the both of you were panicking. Which then caused a stressed conversation between the two of you.
"Link- Link I swear to god if you take off this mask because you think it'll be funny. I will make sure Majora punches you so hard you blackout for the rest of this fight"
"Oh come on! It'll only be off just for a moment."
"NO-"
Oh yes. The God could only wait and enjoy on how everything will go. He will refuse to speak up and explain on what is going on. In his eyes, why not let the children piece everything together?
Besides it fine to let himself be a bit selfish in knowing who you are. It has been a long time since he's seen you. You can't blame him, can you?
