Finally drew something I'm confident in posting for the romancing barret week ^^

I have an idea for a simple clarret fic but it's suggestive bordering on nsfw and I have zero confidence in my ability to make it not cringe

Current mood

I'm spending ages on drawings that I don't end up liking

I'm not satisfied with the few ideas I do have

I'm probably burnt out but I can't stop cause the barret week is coming up

My silly headcanon for whatever Dyne has going on with his left side

My brain is taking an emergency break from ff7 because I feel like I accidentally humiliated myself by posting a bad fanfiction last week. (0 comments 1 kudos after a week)

Hence the fifth element stuff.

I have some thoughts on the Mondoshawan from The Fifth Element (the big clunky metal aliens from the beginning of the film) cause I think they're neat.

We know very little about them so that leaves room for speculation.

It's left ambiguous wether or not they're artificial or organic beings wich is really cool.

Is that armour we see them in some kind of spacesuit with a being inside? Or is it like a sort of endoskeleton?

The severed hand that the scientists use as a base to construct Leeloo has visible bones and what might be a bit of flesh. But we can't really be sure what there is underneath either way.

We also don't know wether the ship we see in the beginning and the one that eventually gets destroyed by the space pirates are the same or not.

Maybe there's only one ship, maybe there are multiple.

If there's only one and it's the same ship that eventually gets destroyed, is it the same mondoshawans piloting it? Or is it their descendants? Also, was that all of them in that ship? Did we just witness the mondoshawan genocide?

Speaking of dying what about living? They're apparently beings who have devoted a large part of their existence to creating and maintaining a weapon that protects life on earth and the galaxy.

But do they have an existence outside of that purpose? A home planet with a history and cultures of it's own?

Or are they more like observers, who roam the galaxy, rarely interfering and never participating in the act of "living" itself.

If they are more like observers to life who rarely participate then that makes Leeloo's existence all the more terrifying and fascinating.

Imagine being a higher being, something so divorced from sensory input and mental challenge that other beings existences seem fragile and fleeting. (but still valuable)

Then imagine dying and then being brought back by some of those "lesser" beings.

But they didn't bring you back as you were, they brought you back in their image. Now you have sensory input and a fragile mind to be challenged.

That's a sensory overload nightmare!

Watched this movie recently with some discord friends and had lots of fun!

I wanted to practice capturing likness with these two cause I thought they were cute ^^

I didn't struggle as badly as I usually do so it was very refreshing
