Hear me out, the more animalistic demons sometimes doing things their animal counterparts would do (Loona howls, Stolas fluffs up his feathers, Alastor freezes when he thinks he's being threatened, list goes on). I mean, Imps repeatedly make animalistic noises (purrs and whimpers) throughout Helluva so I'm (hopefully) not grasping at straws here.

i think this is canon! we got a pin this past halloween of loona howling at the moon and saw her get sick from eating chocolate on insta, stolas turns his head 180 degrees and has dead rats in his fridge, and i know viv said a while back when asked that husk was going to have some cat-like behaviors in the show. i love the trope of animalistic characters having animal behaviors so it’s a treat to see it here
