I know it's been forever since I posted anything. Hopefully I will have more time to write once I've finished my degree, especially as my job start date has been postponed till November.
In the meantime, I made this. Let me know if you can think of any ways I could make it better please. Thank you 💜
And as usual, sorry for sucking at updating.

You’d been to the BigHit building many times over the years, but it had always been to see your sister before. It felt weird coming for any other reason.
‘Weird’ changed into the best feeling in the world when the first thing you saw on the other side of the door was Yoongi waiting for you. And when he smiled as he spotted you, it somehow got even better.
“Y/N,” he called out to you, making a few people turn to face him and therefore making him blush, pulling his hood further over his head.
As you got close, your hands twitched to meet each other, but you were both aware that this was not the place for that. A pang of something went through your heart at that thought, but you decided to ignore it.
Due to the lift being busy, you had to wait a little longer before you could let your guards down. Yoongi kept his hood up and you both stayed quiet. When you got to the right floor, he tugged on your sleeve to let you know  it was time to get off and the second the doors closed behind you, he grabbed your hand.
“Shouldn’t we…” you started, going to move your hand out of his.
He interrupted you, “At this time of night, this floor is always pretty much empty apart from me and the other members. We can be ourselves.” He pulled on your hand and wrapped his arms around you. “Hi.”
“Hi,” you repeated, speaking into his shoulder as you held onto him.
Pulling back from you, he said, “Did you bring food? I’m starving,” as he started down the corridor, leaving you no choice but to follow as he did not seem to want to let go of your hand any time soon.
“Of course I did,” you told him, tapping your backpack with your free hand. “I said I would.”
After a quick stop in a small common area with a kitchenette to pick up some plates, he led you around some corners and towards a very familiar door.
For some reason, entering Yoongi’s studio, you found yourself oddly surprised that it looked like it did in the pictures. This should have been obvious but, as usual, your brain had separated Suga and Yoongi, meaning you hadn’t really thought about it. You found yourself slowly turning in a circle in the centre of the room taking it all in, hands slightly reaching towards something before pulling back as if, had you tried to touch anything, alarms might sound.
“It’s not a museum!” Yoongi told you, laughing at your reaction as he took a seat at the desk.
“It could be!” you argued, finally ceasing your rotation, facing him. “Thousands of fangirls would pay money just to be allowed to enter this room.”
He scowled, “No one is allowed in this room.”
“I’m in this room.”
“You’re special,” he conceded. “And I’m hungry.”
You laughed and took your backpack off, taking out the bag you picked up from the chicken place nearby. As soon as you handed it to him, he started unpacking the food placing it on whatever free space there was on the desk around all of the equipment and notes. The limited surface space ran out pretty quickly.
“Sorry, this isn’t exactly a great place to eat…” he said, shifting some papers around with one hand so he had somewhere to put down the container of chips in his other hand.
“You mean you didn’t design your studio where you work with dates in mind?”
“This isn’t a date.”
Your face heated up, not understanding what he meant.
“When we went to the fair, that was a date. The aquarium was a date too. This doesn’t count though,” he clarified. “This is us hanging out because I can’t wait until I have time for a date before I see you again.”
Now that he could finally put down the chips, he reached out and took both of your hands in his own. “I’m sorry I can’t take you on more dates and we can’t really be together in public.”
You squeezed his hands and he pulled you into his lap.
“Of course it has crossed my mind that it would be nice if we could hold hands in public and tell my friends who you are. Much more of my time, however, is spent thinking how lucky I am to have you in my life. Even if all we ever did was watch movies at the dorm or me hang out here while you work, I’d still be one of the happiest people in the world. I really like you, Yoongi.” Embarrassed by your monologue, you buried your head in his shoulder.
When he laughed at your reaction to your own words, you felt his chest shake as you cuddled up to him.
“I really like you too, Y/N.”
After a little while of just enjoying being close to each other, you sat up. “We’d better eat before the food gets cold, and you need to work.”
He nodded, then looked at the food containers taking up every free centimetre on his desk and frowned.
“How do you normally eat in here? When you actually remember to eat, that is,” you asked him.
“I usually just put a few things on my plate and leave everything else in the bag until I want it but that’s…”
“Let’s do that then,” you told him, getting up from his lap and packing the food back into the bag.
He still didn’t look happy. “We could go out into the common area…”
“We can if you want to, but I assumed you would want to keep working while we ate?”
“Well, yes. But…”
Handing him a pair of chopsticks, you said, “Then we’ll eat in here and you’ll work.” After getting a container out for you to take over to the sofa, you kissed his forehead. “I told you, I don’t care what we do. I’m just happy to spend some time with you.”
“Even if we’re just going to sit silently in the same room as each other?”
“Even then.”
“Won’t you get bored?”
“I brought some work to do and a book to read.”
Finally, he seemed happy and reached to grab a container out of the bag which you had left by his chair, on the right side so it wouldn’t get in the way if he wanted to wheel between the computer and the keyboard. After you did the same, you moved to go sit on the sofa, however, he caught your hand and pulled you gently down so he could place a kiss on your lips.
“I’m glad you’re here,” he told you.
“Me too.”
Yoongi hadn’t been exaggerating when he said you were going to sit in silence. While you were eating, you spoke a little when you went to top up your plate. After that, you didn’t speak at all. You had meant it when you said you didn’t mind, though. You were content just being in the same room as him, both with your headphones in, working on very different things.
When you got bored of working on your essay, you got out your book, an old favourite you were rereading for the millionth time, and curled up on the sofa.
You weren’t sure how much later, pretty sure it had been a while due to how stiff you felt when you looked up from your book, Yoongi got up from his chair. His headphones were now plugged into his laptop and he was changing things even as he walked over, but when he sat down next to you on the sofa, he lifted an arm and gestured for you to slide over.
After stretching out quickly, you rearranged yourself on the sofa, leaning against him and bringing your feet back up. Once you were comfortable, he put his left arm over your shoulder, and you held his hand, playing with his fingers absent-mindedly as you continued reading, glad your book was small enough to be held easily in one hand.
When you finished your book, you tucked it between your leg and the sofa cushion and closed your eyes. You hadn’t looked at the time, but you knew it must be late because it wasn’t a particularly short book and you had worked on your essay for a couple of hours before you started it.
Having been drifting pretty far towards sleep, you jumped nearly out of your skin when Yoongi exclaimed, “Shit!” and pulled the headphones off his head.
“What? Are you okay?” you asked, sitting up and turning to look at him. There didn’t seem to be anything obviously wrong with him, so you calmed down a bit.
“Time! Late! Your flatmates are going to murder me!”
You laughed, “Don’t worry. I told them I would probably be out late. As long as I tell them if I’m going to stay over somewhere else, they were okay with it.”
After putting his laptop down on the floor, he pulled you against him again, closer this time. So close you could feel his heart racing at the panic he was going to get you in trouble again.
“It’s still late. I should get you home.”
“Why?” you asked, yawning. “What time is it?”
“About half one.”
“Wow, yeah. You should be getting to bed too, Yoonie.”
“Yoonie?” he asked, smiling, although you couldn’t see that with your eyes already closed again.
“Sorry, don’t you like me calling you Yoonie?”
“No, I do, you’ve just never called me anything other than Yoongi…or ‘the great Agust D’.”
You laughed, your eyes still closed. “Not to your face. Don’t forget that I was a fangirl long before I met you, Lil Meow Meow.”
“Please don’t call me that in front of the others,” he groaned.
“No promises.”
He kissed the top of your head before pushing you gently off him. “Come on, sleepyhead. Home time.”
Once you’d packed up your stuff, you held hands until you got to the lobby, happy that this time you were alone in the lift.
After spending most of the day working in silence, Yoongi was positively chatty as he drove you home, telling you about what he had been doing, including a bunch of technical music stuff you didn’t quite understand but made a note on your phone to google later.
Pulling up outside your building, he said, “I wish the night wasn’t over.”
“Me too, but sadly it’s already morning.”
“Does it have to be?”
“I have to be in uni in less than eight hours and you probably have stuff to do tomorrow too. So, sadly, I’m going to say yes.”
You got out of the car and walked around to Yoongi’s side, planning to kiss him goodnight through the window, only to find him already out, hood up, waiting for you.
“What are you doing? Someone could see you!” you exclaimed, worried for him.
Placing his hands on your shoulders, he physically turned you from side to side, making you look around your dark, empty street. “Who?” he asked, wrapping his arms around you, laughing gently, as you realised he was right.
He leant down and kissed you, smiling as he did. “I have group schedules tomorrow night or I would ask you to come to the studio again. What about Friday?”
You shook your head, making him pout. “Sorry, sister movie night. A sacred event that cannot be interrupted for anyone, especially when I just pissed her off by disappearing all night the other night.” When he pouted even harder, you added, “What about Saturday?”
“I’ll have to let you know about weekend plans. I’m not sure what we’re doing yet,” he told you.
“So I guess we’ll just leave it at ‘Goodnight and see you soon’?” you asked.
He nodded, repeating, “Goodnight and see you soon.”
When you tried to pull away, however, he held on to you, kissing you again.
Hearing a noise, both of you looked up. A second later, however, you pulled him back down, wrapping him in a tight hug, hiding his head against your neck as the giggling girls coming back from a night out walked past.
Once they were out of earshot, you said, “As much as I wish it wasn’t, it’s late and we both need to get to bed.”
“I know,” he groaned. “One more though,” he added, before pulling you into another kiss.
When you finally managed to separate yourself from him, you made sure to take a step back towards your building before saying for the last time, “Goodnight. Go to sleep. Message me if you have time tomorrow.”
After walking up to the door, you turned back to see him still standing there. When you waved and motioned for him to go, he just did the same back, wanting you to go in first.
You stuck your tongue out before doing what he wanted and when you checked through the window on your way up to your flat, his car was gone.

Will you be updating a borrowed hoodie?
I will!! I promise!! I love this story and I don't plan to give up on it any time soon. But I am struggling at the moment with kind of everything.
*please feel free to ignore the rant below about me being utterly useless*
I am hypothyroxic, dyslexic, autistic and trying to do a final year project for my masters on the corrosion of corium from Fukushima. This is a combination of things that means I have lots of free time as I find myself unable to do anything useful because I can't work without structure and am incapable of making myself conform to a structure without someone helping me a lot. But even though I have a lot of free time, the same reasons I can't do work also apply to things I really want to do, like write A Borrowed Hoodie. Combine that with guilt from knowing that I should be doing work and I end up doing absolutely nothing. Which makes me feel worse. And the cycle continues.
This is all to say, I really wish I could do more on this right now, but I can't promise that. Over the past probably 6 months, I have repeatedly thought that there was a time coming soon that I would be able to write more and it normally ended up that the times I didn't think I would have time to write were the times that I ended up doing it because if I feel like I am being productive in one area of my life I end up a lot more productive in other areas too. And when I have down time, I lose all ability to be productive at all.
I am in the process of trying to get my shot together on the final year project front and hopefully that will lead to me being able to get some writing done too!! I miss it.
A Borrowed Hoodie has definitely not been abandoned!! Sorry.
Also sorry for the very long message.

Yoongi - A Borrowed Hoodie Part 19

As both of you had predicted, neither of you lasted through the next movie before you fell asleep, and with all of the other members asleep too, there was nothing to stop you from staying that way.
In the morning, you woke up to the sound of the kettle boiling in the kitchen, finding yourself in the same position you had fallen asleep in, curled up next to Yoongi with his arm wrapped around you, your head on his shoulder. As soon as you moved, taking your phone out of your pocket to check the time, you jostled Yoongi enough to wake him too.
“I’m sorry,” you told him, voice a little croaky as you spoke for the first time that day. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“Don’t worr…” he started as he stretched out his arms, unwrapping them from around you to do so.
“Oh shit,” you interrupted as you looked at the blank screen of your phone, jumping up from the sofa.
Suddenly Yoongi’s eyes were wide open. “What? Are you okay?”
Sitting down next to him only to press a quick kiss on his cheek before standing again, you told him, “I’m fine…right now. I’m going to be dead meat when I get back to my flatmates.” When he looked confused, you explained. “I was supposed to be home by six last night, and my phone is dead.”
“You can borrow a charger if you need to,” he said, pointing to the corner where they kept a few spare chargers.
“Can I borrow the one in your car instead?” you asked, grabbing his hand and pulling him to his feet. After dragging him behind you to the entrance of the dorm, you kicked Yoongi’s shoes towards him and slipped your own on. Then you chucked a random jacket that you were pretty sure was his at him and grabbed your (his) hoodie before pulling him outside.
When you got to his car, he patted down his pockets before pulling his car keys triumphantly out of his jacket pocket. “You’re so lucky this was the jacket you threw at me.”
You shrugged and pushed him towards the driver’s side before rushing around to the passenger’s side. As soon as you were inside, you grabbed the charger and slammed it into your phone before Yoongi had even closed the door, much less started the engine. Then you stared at it, waiting for the charging icon to appear so you could turn it on.
“And we wonder why the older generation complains that we’re too addicted to our phones,” he commented as he started the car, initiating the flow of charge to your phone.
Once you’d pressed the button and your phone was displaying the brand’s logo, indicating that soon you could finally message your flatmates. “I’m not addicted to my phone, as shown by the fact that I didn’t go on it at all last night. And that is exactly why my flatmates are going to kill me as soon as they find out I’m not dead in a ditch.”
“I could take a picture of you in a ditch if you think that would help,” he laughed as you started typing an apology to your flatmates. “I don’t think there are any ditches on the way but we could go find one if necessary.”
“Don’t even bother,” you groaned as you had to stop typing because your phone was suddenly hit with the hundreds of notifications you had received since you last looked at it, freezing the screen until the onslaught of vibrations finished. “They’re going to dig a ditch and throw me in it themselves when we get there.”
Pulling one of your hands off your phone and linking your fingers with his, he rubbed the back of your hand with his thumb in a calming gesture. “I’m sure it won’t be that bad.”
You tried to give him a cold look but it was impossible to sustain with him holding your hand like that. You were glad he drove an automatic. Even so, you complained, “The last time one of us was out of contact for a whole night, the others made him do all the washing up for two weeks and he wasn’t allowed to go out after dark without at least one of us with him. And he’s older than me. I’m the youngest so they’ll be even worse with me!”
“I guess we’re gonna have to only have lunch dates for the next few weeks then.” He couldn’t hold back a giggle when you tried to hit him with your free hand, only to see that your phone was working again so you continued frantically typing your message to your flat group chat. The typing appeared even more desperate as you were trying to balance your phone and type with one hand while your other was still linked with his. “I could lend you back your hand if you want to be able to type properly,” he proposed.
Pouting slightly, you admitted, “That might be useful for the coming round of quickfire excuses.”
Then you tried to pull your hand out of his, but he held on. “There’s a fee.”
“A fee?” you questioned.
Yoongi nodded, then used the hand that was still joined with yours to point at his cheek.
“Needy,” you teased, before leaning over and doing as he asked, kissing him on the cheek.
When he released your hand, he did so with the warning, “I want that back as soon as you’re done. I told you it was a loan.”
“You’re adorable,” you told him before shifting your focus to your phone.
He let you type furiously for a few minutes before asking, “Is everything okay?”
“They’re mad and they say they’re going to discuss my punishment when I get back. Since it’s my first offence, they say it shouldn’t be too bad. But, they called my sister when I didn’t come home so there are a bunch of missed calls on here from her too.” Laughing, you added, “Maybe you should learn to do your own make up from now on?”
“Or I could get you to do it for me, only if it’s before dark, of course.”
“Don’t remind me,” you said whacking his arm gently, only to have your hand stolen back to be linked with Yoongi’s again.
When you gave him a look, he just repeated, “I told you it was a loan.”
Even after you had told your flatmates you would be home soon and would explain in person, having given up on trying to reply to what felt like a hundred messages firing at you every second, they kept messaging you. You felt bad for turning your phone on Do Not Disturb, but also, you never knew when the next time you were going to see Yoongi would be and you didn’t want to just sit in his car ignoring him.
For the rest of the journey, the two of you joked around, trying to make up endings to the movies that you had barely seen the night before, until Yoongi pulled in around the corner from your house.
“Are you that scared of my flatmates?” you asked.
“Yes,” he said matter-of-factly. “But, also, I wanted to do something…”
He tried to reach for the glove compartment but you didn’t let go of his hand to let him do so.
“You know the price for borrowing,” you told him, tilting your head to make it even more obvious what you wanted.
Smiling that gummy smile you swore not a single person on the planet would be able to resist, he leaned over as if to kiss your cheek as you’d asked, but swerved at the last second and pecked your lips instead.
“That’s cheating!” you exclaimed, blushing as he reached over you to get a notebook and pen out of the glove compartment.
“I made the game, only I know the rules,” he joked, looking up from what he was writing just in time to see you pout at him, prompting him to kiss you again.
When you tried to read what he was writing, he pulled it to an angle where you couldn’t see it. “Hurry up,” you rushed him. “I need to get in there before they come out here and murder me in the street. Even if I have to die, I don’t want them all to suffer in prison for it.”
“They’re not actually going to kill you, you know,” he said, laughing.
Narrowing your eyes, you told him, “You don’t know that.”
Laughing again, he didn’t answer, just saying, “There, I’m done.” Then he ripped the page he had been writing on out of the notebook and folded it in half, making sure you still couldn’t read it yet. He held it out in his hand for you to grab it but pulled it back when you reached for it. “This is for your flatmates. And it’s illegal to read other people’s mail.”
“I don’t think it can count as mail if it doesn’t go through the postal service, and it’s not even in an envelope!”
He just gave you a look, still not offering you the letter.
“Fine, I promise I won’t read it,” you sighed.
Holding out his free hand, he stuck his little finger up and beckoned to you with it.
Rolling your eyes but also smiling, you linked your little finger with his and touched your thumbs together.
Finally, he handed the letter to you and you moved to grab the car door to get out and face your angry flatmates. He pulled you back, though, joining your hands again.
“I need more than a short-term loan this time,” you said, turning back to face him.
He smirked. “Come here and pay for it then.”
It was awkward having to lean over the gear stick but the kiss was worth it.
“Okay, I really have to go now,” you pouted, not wanting to say goodbye, ever, but especially not just then. Pecking his lips again, you reminded him, “No more disappearing. I really want a text every couple of days telling me that you’re still alive.”
“I’ll try…”
“Not good enough. Give me your phone.”
You held out your free hand and he suspiciously unlocked his phone, handing it to you.
Opening the reminder app you knew he used, you set a reminder repeating every three days with the name ‘Still alive’.
He looped your joined hands over your head so his arm was around you as he took his phone back. After kissing the top of your head, he started, “Okay…” before changing tracks with an, “Oh shit,” as he spotted a couple of your flatmates looking around in front of your house, about to head in your direction.
When you noticed them too, you sat up untangling yourself from Yoongi’s arm before opening the door.
“Don’t die!” he called after you.
“We’ll see how it goes,” you commented as you closed the door.
Even though you then couldn’t see him through the tinted windows, you waved quickly before hurrying to meet your flatmates.
After being scolded by your flatmates for making them worry, you apologised, got hugs from them all, and it was then that they told you your punishment. Luckily, since it was the first time you had done this, they just told you that you were in charge of cooking tea every night for the next two weeks. They told you this meant at least if you went missing in the dead of night, they wouldn’t have to tell the police that the last time they had seen you had been a full day before.
In the scheme of things, it wasn’t so bad.
Once the whole thing was over you all went to get lunch together after a stressful night for the others. It was while you were in a nearby café that you remembered the note Yoongi had given you for them.
“Hey guys, I forgot earlier, but Y…my…the guy I was with last night wrote a letter to you all.”
You handed it over to one of the guys sitting opposite you, and he read it out,
“            Dear Y/N’s flatmates,
I’m really sorry for keeping Y/N out all night. We were having a movie night and accidentally fell asleep on the sofa.
I can’t promise it won’t happen again because I’m a big fan of sleep and an even bigger fan of spending as much of my time with Y/N as possible, but I will promise to offer her a charger when she’s at our dorm so she can message you if she’s going to be out later than planned.
I know you guys don’t like me much because I’m kind of secretive, but I am really glad that you guys are around to make sure Y/N is okay. I hope you don’t go too hard on her for this as it is on both of us.
I promise she will always be safe with me.
From someone who cares about Y/N as much as you do.                    ”
“I don’t think it’s possible to care about Y/N as much as we do,” one of them said, starting a long in-depth discussion on their opinions of Yoongi, which ended without a real conclusion when you had all finished eating.
Only picking up the highlights of the discussion through your own thoughts about Yoongi, you found that you didn’t even need to defend him as the letter had convinced one of the guys and one of the girls to fight for him in your stead.
Walking back to the house, you were glad that the topic had changed to movies coming out soon and which ones you would all like to see together. Then you noticed a fancy car outside the house.
“Fuck.”
So did your flatmates.
While they all walked with purpose towards the car, you ran.
When you tried to pull the passenger door open, the window rolled down to reveal Namjoon wearing sunglasses and a mask, Yoongi similarly covered in the driver’s seat.
“Get in the back,” Yoongi called across, unlocking the back doors as he did.
Doing as he said, you saw your flatmates form a small crowd between the car and the house.
“Your flatmates are scary,” Namjoon told you.
Chuckling slightly, you made a sound of agreement. “Yes, yes they are. Honestly, though, this is better than they would have been if not for Yoongi’s letter. It was so cute! You convinced a couple of them to almost approve of you.”
He turned around in his seat to face you, taking off his sunglasses just so he could narrow his eyes at you. “Did you read it?”
“No! I promised I wouldn’t!” you exclaimed, defending yourself before admitting, “It being read aloud in my presence is not the same thing.”
He frowned but agreed that you had found the loophole. Having been pretty certain you were going to find out the contents one way or another, he didn’t mind too much.
“Hyung?” Namjoon said, and Yoongi seemed to know what he meant.
“Oh, yeah.” He reached into the little alcove in between the front two seats and pulled out…your phone.
You found yourself patting down your pockets as if checking that you didn’t already have it, which was silly because there it was in Yoongi’s hand.
“I thought you would probably need this back,” he said, holding it out for you.
A relieved sigh escaped your lips even though you hadn’t even known you were missing it until it was back with you again. “You’re not kidding. I still have to properly apologise to my sister.”
Once the phone was in your hand, Namjoon spoke again, “Sorry, Y/N but we have to get going. Come over again soon, okay? We need you to keep Hyung in line.”
Yoongi made an offended noise, but you ignored him. “Don’t forget that on top of the time I’ve spent with you over the last month or so, I have also been a fan for years. I’m very aware that you and Jin have him mostly under control.”
“True,” Namjoon laughed. “But you’re the one who got him to come home the night before last, so I think we’ll keep you around just in case.”
You laughed too. “I’m not planning on going anywhere,” you told him, making Yoongi smile. “Okay, I’ll let you go. Don’t work too hard!” You pecked Yoongi on the lips before climbing out of the car, only to be reminded as it drove away that you still had to deal with your flatmates, again.

Goodbye to my room of 2 years. I'll probably post pictures of my new room once I get my collection back up again.
Moving is part of the reason I haven't been writing lately. Hopefully I'll be able to write more once we've moved (after the hellish week of having no WiFi due to me and both my housemates being bad at planning.)

Yoongi - Hold My Hand
Tumblr media
After a long week at uni, the last thing you wanted to do was go out, but your friends had just got back in town and you missed them enough to drag your tired feet all the way over to their flat.
Deadlines had been kicking your butt and now that they were over, you wanted nothing more than to sleep for a whole weekend, but nonetheless, here you were knocking on your friends’ door.
When Jungkook opened the door, you told him, “If you don’t let me on that huge comfy sofa of yours in the next two minutes, I swear I’m going to fall asleep on you.”
If you had been more awake, you might have noticed his cheeky smile and realised what he was about to do before he picked you up as if you weighed nothing at all and carried you into the living room. “Coming through,” he shouted to move Jin and Hoseok out of the way so they wouldn’t be kicked, then dumped you unceremoniously onto the sofa, feet falling into Namjoon’s lap, head landing on Yoongi’s.
Yoongi had been dozing before you got there, so the first thing he saw when he woke up was you landing on him, making him and Namjoon let out ‘oof’ noises in unison.
“Hey,” you said, looking between the two of them. “Sorry about that.” Then you gave Jungkook a pointed look, narrowing your eyes at him, but being too tired to do anything about it.
Instead, you just moved to get up, but Yoongi put his arm down from where he had raised it in surprise when you fell on him, resting it on your side. Even so, you did curl up your legs to free Namjoon, who got up to tell Jungkook off for waking Yoongi up. When you looked up, you saw that Yoongi’s eyes were closed again, so you decided to join him in napping for a little while.
Waking up to the sound of the other members settling in around you and the smell of the food they had ordered for tea, you tried to stretch, but found your arm wouldn’t move as easily as it should. When your eyes opened, you saw the reason. The hand in question was linked with another hand, one that didn’t belong to you.
Sometime while you had both been asleep, Yoongi had linked his hand with yours. This meant that when you tried to stretch, pulling his arm, you woke him up.
As soon as he realised you were awake he released your hand and when you sat up he just gave you a nod before reaching forward to grab some food.
After you guys had eaten, you were going to curl up with Yoongi again, but you ended up playing a game with the younger members instead. By the time you were finished, Yoongi had disappeared off somewhere, possibly to bed, so you decided to do the same and go home, not wanting to bother him.
A few days later, you were out with the guys. You tended to split up a bit when you went out, as a group of seven guys all wearing facemasks and outfits worth significantly more than your rent was pretty conspicuous.
That day you were walking with Jin and Hoseok, Namjoon and Jimin were about ten metres ahead of you, Taehyung and Jungkook about the same distance in front of them. Yoongi had been walking with you and the others, but at some point he had fallen behind.
You dropped back, leaving Jin and Hoseok to their conversation which you had been slowly fading out of for a while, and fell in step next to Yoongi.
Bumping your shoulder into him, you asked, “What’s up, Grumpy?”
“Nothing,” he said. “I’m fine.”
You narrowed your eyes at him, pouting, “Liar.”
“I’m not lying,” he sighed. “I just…I’m just tired.”
Getting out your nagging voice, you asked him, “Did you stay up the whole night working again?”
Rubbing his eyes, he admitted, “Maybe.” When he brought his hand back to his side, you felt his fingers brush against yours, and it felt deliberate.
“Do you want to find a café and rest for a while?”
He looked at you for a second before nodding. “But this is the only free day we have to shop before we have to leave again.”
“Do you need anything before the next tour leg?”
After thinking, he replied, “Nothing I can’t live without.
“Good!” You grabbed his hand and pulled him forward until both of you were walking level with Jin and Hoseok again. “Hey guys, Yoongi and I are going to go and find a café to chill for a little while. I’ll text you to find out where you are when we’re ready to catch up.”
Pulling Yoongi behind you by your joined hands, you split off from the group. When you were about to drop his hand, however, now that you were on a quieter stretch of road, he didn’t let you. Instead, he held on and let you continue to lead him down the road.
“Any preference for where we go?” you asked. “This place is pretty good,” you added, pointing at a nearby café.
He gently steered you away from the café. “Maybe we could keep walking for a while?”
“Yeah, sure. But I thought you were tired?”
Seemingly not certain how to reply, he just let out an uncertain, “Umm…” so you took pity on him.
“Why don’t we get some bubble tea and walk to the park?”
At that, he nodded. “Good idea.”
You found a bubble tea place and ordered your favourites. When it was time to pay, Yoongi said it was on him. Letting go of his hand so he could get out his card didn’t go quite as you planned. He held on. Instead, he offered you his wallet to get his card out for him, and you put it away after he had paid. When he had passed you your drink and grabbed his own, you set off again, hand still linked.
The two of you stayed silent most of the way to the park, but it was a comfortable silence. It wasn’t uncommon for you and Yoongi not to talk much when you were together, especially when one or both of you were tired. When apart from each other it was rare for you to go more than a few hours without messaging each other, so by the time you were together, you didn’t feel like you needed to talk. Sometimes you did, sometimes you didn’t. It was one of your favourite things about Yoongi; you never felt pressured to be anything other than you or do anything you didn’t want. You hoped you provided the same for him.
Seeing how tired he looked, you pulled him over to the first empty bench you saw, making him sit down and taking the place next to him. You put your arm with the hand still linked with his around his shoulders and used it to pull him down, placing his head in your lap. With your other hand, you started to stroke his hair.
“I’ll go to sleep if you keep doing that,” he told you, eyes already closed.
“I know,” you whispered conspiratorially. “That’s why I’m doing it.”
“But…”
“I’ll wake you up in twenty minutes. Just have a quick nap and we’ll go join the others.”
“Okay,” he said, voice quieter as he started to drift off.
True to your word, you woke him up twenty minutes later. You never understood why the others complained about having to wake Yoongi up. You just had to squeeze his hand gently and say his name and his eyes flickered open.
“Feel better?”
He grunted what sounded like an affirmative and stretched the arm that wasn’t still holding your hand before sitting up, looping your arms over his head again so he didn’t have to let go of your hand.
“Shall I message the others?”
Another grunt implied that you should, but he leant his head on your shoulder as you sent the message.
“Don’t go back to sleep, Yoong. They’re still shopping, we need to catch up.”
“Or we could not?”
You shrugged his head off your shoulder and stood up, grabbing his other hand and pulling him to his feet.
He groaned as you lead him out of the park, holding the other hand to the one you had been holding until now.
“Stop being grumpy. You know you’re looking forward to dinner out with all of the guys.”
He kept pouting, but answered, “Maybe.”
Sneaking round through the back entrance of the airport, you weren’t sure if you were doing the right thing. You had never seen the guys off at the airport before, but this time something made you contact one of the staff members you knew pretty well to sneak you in around the crowds so that you could say goodbye.
You had said goodbye to them all the previous night, of course, before heading home from the dorm where you had been having a movie night specifically to say goodbye. There was absolutely no reason for you to be at the airport, but there you were nonetheless.
As you reached the tarmac, you spotted seven backs heading towards the plane and you almost turned around. Only the staff member indicating for you to keep walking kept you going.
As was often the case, Yoongi was trailing slightly behind the others, so when you reached them, he was the closest to you. You reached out and grabbed his hand.
He stopped in his tracks and his head snapped around in surprise, but he relaxed quickly when he saw it was you.
“What are you doing here?”
The words might have made you worry if not for the way that he said it, letting you know that he was glad you were there, just confused why.
“I wanted to say goodbye.”
He stepped closer to you, “We said goodbye last night.”
“I know,” you agreed. “But…” you shrugged.
Mimicking your shrug, Yoongi laughed. “Well, goodbye.” He didn’t let go of your hand though.
You stuck your tongue out at him.
“I’m going to miss you,” he told you.
“We’ll message every day.”
“I’m still going to miss you.”
“We can video call.”
He pulled you by the hand he was still holding into a hug, releasing your hand only to wrap both arms around you before saying, “I’m still going to miss you.” Then he let you go, grabbing your hand again briefly as he stepped away.
You opened your mouth to tell him to say goodbye to the others for you as they were all on the plane already, but you didn’t have to speak. He nodded and waved, pointing at the plane to show he knew what you meant.
When he was just far enough away not to hear you, you said, “I’ll miss you too,” before following him a little way towards the plane so you could wave at everyone before you left.
You messaged Yoongi whenever time zones aligned and video chatted whenever schedules aligned. Even so, you missed the him. You missed the time spent with him not talking, when you were watching a tv show, listening to music, or even just listening to the other members joke and bicker. You missed being around someone who knew you so well that he knew what you were going to say before you said it and you knew him just as well.
You loved all of the members. They were your closest friends and they had been for years, but Yoongi was your best friend, your favourite person in the world.
Which is how you found yourself where you were, jet-lagged to hell and wanting to go to bed. Instead, you were waiting in a hotel lobby.
You were mid-yawn when they finally arrived and you were mobbed into a group hug.
When you managed to escape their grip, you asked, “Can we go to one of your rooms now? Or a lounge or something? I’m so tired I’m about to fall over.”
You were about to rub your eyes when you spotted Jungkook moving in the corner of your eye and you jumped back, holding your hands up in front of you. “No,” you told him.
“Yes,” he replied, nodding and smiling that cheeky grin at you.
“No,” you repeated, turning to run but finding your way blocked by Taehyung. “No!” you cried out before you burst out laughing as Jungkook swept you up in his arms.
Wriggling but not fighting, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook kept you laughing as you caught up a bit on the way up.
When you got there, Jungkook finally put you down on the sofa in the room, still giggling.
The older members followed behind you, and as they came in, you sat up, not wanting to take up more than your fair share of the seating which was limited. Yoongi was the first to sit down, however, and he pulled you back down, head in his lap. He linked his hand with yours and rested the other on your head.
For a while you stayed like that, repeatedly almost dozing off only to be woken by a laugh or a shout as the other guys wound down after the day’s schedules.
“Sit up for a second,” Yoongi asked you.
You did what he asked and he dropped your hand only to pull you up by the other.
“I’m going to take Y/N somewhere to actually rest,” he told the others as if he was scolding them for daring to wake you up.
The responses of the others ranged from apologetic to teasing but they all ended with, “Goodnight,” with an added, “Sweet dreams,” from Jimin.
Yoongi led you to his room, just two doors further along the corridor from Jimin’s room where the other members were all gathered.
“Sofa or bed?” he asked once you were inside.
After thinking for a second, you replied, “Sofa,” starting to step towards it, only to be stopped by your hand which was still joined with Yoongi’s, who had stopped in between the sofa and the bed.
“Why did you come?” Surprised by the question, it took you a second to respond,
“I had a few days off and I thought it would be cool to come and see your concert tomorrow.”
“Why did you pick the sofa?” he asked, stepping towards you.
This time you really didn’t know what to say, knowing your reasons but not willing to reveal them just yet. You opened and closed your mouth a few times.
“Look,” he said, “if I’m wrong about this, I’ll leave you here to sleep and I’ll sleep in one of the other member’s rooms.” Seeing the confused look on your face, he squeezed your hand before continuing, “It’s just that I know I would pick the sofa too, but not for a good reason. I would choose the sofa because then I would be able to hold your hand for longer. So, I want to ask, did you pick the sofa because you knew I would keep cuddling you, whereas the bed is an unknown? Were you worried if you picked the bed I might leave you alone?”
Closing the small gap between the two of you and burying your head against his chest, when you were safe from his prying eyes, you nodded.
The arm that wasn’t still busy holding your hand wrapped around you as he said, “So, if I asked if we could both sleep here, you would say?”
You nodded again.
The two of you separated for a while, so you could both get ready for bed. He was first to get into bed, you only a few minutes behind. You were tentative getting into the bed, like Yoongi had said, it was an unknown, but as soon as you were there, Yoongi wrapped his arms around you again, pulling you close.
“Is this okay?” he asked.
Eyelids already drooping, you nodded and your hand searched for his. When he figured out what you were doing, he took your hand himself, holding on as you slowly fell asleep, staying that way now that you had some peace and quiet.
Once he was sure you were asleep, he whispered in your ear, “I missed you.”
AN: Not quite my typical dramatic confession at the end but pretty close.

Taehyung - The One
Tumblr media
“She’s the one,” Taehyung sighed as he flopped down on the seat next to Jimin in the lounge.
“Just like that guy last week was ‘the one’?” Jungkook quipped.
Jimin shook his head, speaking before Taehyung could answer back. “That guy was only ‘the one’ until he saw that girl with the cool piercings.”
“Oh yeah,” Jungkook agreed, remembering that ‘one’.
“Who was before that?” you asked, trying to remember.
“Was it that really tall guy with the sticky out ears?” Jungkook asked.
“No,” Jimin answered, “wasn’t he before the girl with the really cute dog?”
“I thought she was after the girl with the awesome coat,” you countered. When the guys looked confused, you elaborated, “You know, I was going to ask her where she got it but Tae basically tackled me to the floor.”
“Oh my gosh, I do remember that!” Jimin cried out.
“I apologised!” Taehyung tried to defend himself.
“You’re right,” Jungkook said. “She was after the tall puppy guy.”
“This one is different,” Taehyung claimed.
“Did you talk to her?” you asked.
Jimin just had to look at Taehyung’s face before he knew the answer. “Not that different.”
That triggered laughter from everyone except Taehyung, who just sighed and wished he had different friends.
“She’s perfect,” he said, as if that was different from what he had said about every ‘one’. “And I’m going to find her again so I can talk to her.
“How?” you asked.
“Yeah, I thought you said you didn’t even hear her name when the barista called it because it was too loud in there?”
“Don’t discourage him!” Jungkook argued. “This is progress! He’s actually planning to talk to this ‘love of his life’.”
“I’m glad you think like that, Kookie,” Taehyung said, smiling. “I was hoping you would draw a picture of her from my description so I could make a poster.”
“Oh no,” the younger replied. “I’m not willing to actually help you. I just think we shouldn’t hinder this small step in the right direction.”
Weeks later, you were sitting in the very café where Taehyung had seen ‘the one’. It was at least the tenth time since that day that you had met him there, and you were sure he had been more without you. Every spare minute he had it seemed, he was sitting right where you were then, at a table with a good view of both the counter and the window.
As he kept his eye out for ‘the one’, you kept your eye out for someone who fit Taehyung’s type, hoping to find someone who could potentially be the next ‘one’ to distract him from the current ‘one’.
He hadn’t been lying when he said this ‘one’ was different. Normally he ‘fell out of love’ with these infatuations as easily as he fell into them. It was usually only a few weeks or even days before he got distracted by someone else, or he got busy with work, or even occasionally something as simple as a new video game coming out.
Never before had one of these things lasted so long or been so intense that he had gone out of his way to ask everyone he knew if they knew an artist he could use for his poster, then put up copies all over town. He even pulled out all the stops flirting with the manager of the café so he could put up a special poster and get the baristas to point him out if anyone asked about it.
So far, all this had gotten him, however, was a whole bunch of prank calls and a lot of annoyance from you, Jimin and Jungkook.
“Hey, you see that guy over there?” you said, “I think he was checking you out.”
“That’s nice,” he said, not even looking at you, much less at the guy you were talking about.
“Okay then,” you said, mostly to yourself as you checked your watch. You still had time before you had to leave to go to your afternoon lectures. “Go on then, tell me about her again.”
Suddenly his face lit up and he became his usual animated self. As much as you really did not want to hear the story of the first and only time he had ever seen her again, it was worth it to stop him from staring wildly around the room, desperately searching for her as he bounced up and down in his seat. Anything was worth it to bring that smile back to his face.
Just when your final lecture of the day was rounding up, your phone started buzzing in your pocket.
Y/N COME HOME – TH
HE MEANS IT. COME HOME. – JM
SERIOUSLY. EVEN I THINK YOU NEED TO COME HOME FOR THIS ONE. – JK
I’m nearly done with lectures. I’ll be home in an hour. – you
AN HOUR?! – TH
I CAN’T WAIT THAT LONG. – TH
As long as no one is dying, you’re going to have to. – you
[pouty emoji] – TH
I’ll get the bus instead of walking. I’ll be there in 20. [rolling eyes] – you
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 – TH
[more rolling eyes] – you
<3<3 – you
When you got home, you found your three housemates all creepily standing by the door waiting for you to arrive.
“Woah, guys. Seriously, what’s up?”
Taehyung was literally bouncing up and down.
“Maybe sit down, Y/N?” Jimin suggested, taking your hand and starting to lead you over to the sofa, but you ripped your hand out of his and turned to face them all.
“No, you’re freaking me out. Tell me what is going on right now.”
You shouldn’t have been so freaked out because Taehyung was beaming his head off, but the looks on Jimin and Jungkook’s faces were putting you on edge. Both of them looked like they’d just watched someone shoot a puppy. And the way they looked at you made you think the puppy might have been yours; but you didn’t have a puppy.
“Go ahead,” Jungkook told Taehyung.
“Ifoundher!” he said, speaking insanely fast and still jumping up and down.
Your jaw all but dropped. “What?”
“Ifoundherandaskedheroutandshesaidyes!” he continued, not taking a breath.
“Still not sure I got that,” you said, looking between the three of them and trying to process what he had just told you.
“He found the girl he’s been looking for,” Jimin explained, speaking like he was treading on tiptoes. “He asked her out and she said yes.”
“Wow, Tae! That’s really great!” you told him, pulling him into a hug. “I’ve got some work to do, I’m gonna go to my room.”
“No!” Taehyung cried, looking like the puppy might have been his after all, making you want to check on Yeontan. “You have to help me plan the date.”
“When is it?” you asked.
“Friday!”
“Then we have three days! I’ll help you tomorrow, I promise.”
“Okay,” he pouted as you walked away.
“Put that face away,” you told him. “You know I’ll tickle you if you keep pouting.”
“I’m happy,” he promised, smiling to make a point. “But you have to help me tomorrow.”
“Why can’t Jimin and Jungkook help you?” you asked, starting to retreat to your room.
“The last date Jimin went on involved Jin-hyung making dinner for them and I don’t think Jungkook has ever had a second date,” he explained over the complaints of the other two.
“Ah yes, I remember,” you said as you reached your door. “I’ll help you tomorrow.”
“Okay,” Taehyung replied. “Thank you.”
You spent the whole of the next afternoon going over date plans with Taehyung. Eventually, he seemed happy with it, and honestly, it was your perfect date. You had put your all into planning it with him.
And finally it was Friday.
‘Finally’ because Taehyung hadn’t shut up for the past three days about the date. He had been umming and ahhing over every detail but somehow you managed to convince him to keep everything as planned.
After helping him get ready, you curled up on the sofa and started watching a movie, soon to be joined by Jimin and Jungkook.
A few hours later, you were still right there, cuddled between two of your flatmates, coming to the end of the second movie of the night, even though they’d both fallen asleep halfway through the first. Then you heard a key turn in the lock.
You sat up straight, jostling the two sleeping boys who had their arms wrapped around you. Neither of them woke, however. You knew from living with them for a couple of years now that once they were asleep, you could all but dance on their heads without waking them up.
When the door swung open, revealing Taehyung, you immediately asked, “How did it go?”
He pulled a face.
As you stood up, Jimin and Jungkook wrapped their arms around each other instead of you, still asleep.
Immediately, you made your way over to Taehyung and pulled him by his arm to your room.
Once the two of you were settled on your bed, backs against this headboard, you turned to him. “Okay, spill.”
He was fiddling with his hands so you grabbed the nearest one and used it to wrap his arm around you, curling into his side like you had so many times before. “It can’t be that bad,” you told me.
“It wasn’t that bad,” he said, pulling you closer to him. “She just barely let me get a word in edgeways she was so busy talking about herself.” He leant his chin on your head as he continued talking. “I feel like I may not have helped the size of her ego by launching a city-wide poster campaign to find her.”
“You think?” you laughed. You felt his chuckle through your back and it made you laugh more. “So when’s the second date?”
Instead of replying, he started to tickle your waist, shifting from under you and moving more to the side to get a better angle to attack you from.
He only stopped when you accidentally kicked him in the stomach while trying to escape him. Falling off the bed with a grunt, he splayed out across your bedroom floor.
Once you had caught your breath from all the laughing, you turned over and lay on you belly, sticking your head over the edge of the bed, looking down at him. “What are you doing down there?” you asked him, feigning ignorance.
“Someone kicked me,” he said, standing up, making you move back onto the bed fully so that you weren’t in his way. “Do you have any idea who that might have been?” he asked.
You shook your head. “I have no idea.” Despite trying, you failed to keep a straight face when he climbed over you, taking a place on the other side of the bed.
Scared he was going to tickle you again, you curled up in a ball facing away from him to try to protect yourself, but instead, he just wrapped his arms around you, pulling the covers over the two of you from where they had ended up balled at the bottom of the bed during your little fight.
“I’ll get you back in the morning,” he said directly into your ear because of how close he was to you. “I’m too tired right now.”
You laughed slightly, joining your hand with his. “You’ll forget before then.”
“Watch me,” he replied, his voice giving away how close to falling asleep he was and, honestly, you weren’t far behind.
You weren’t sure what time it was when you woke up, as your clock was on the side of the bed that Taehyung was currently occupying. The only clue you had was that it was still dark. You were going to check your phone, which was still in your pocket but then you realised that what had woken you up was the sound of your bedroom door slowly creaking open, revealing Jimin and Jungkook poking their heads around it.
Feeling Taehyung move behind you, propping himself up on one arm but keeping the other around you and your fingers linked, you heard him whisper, “Y/N’s asleep, get out!”
About to tell him you were awake, you stopped when Jimin winked at you, saying, “When are you going to tell her, Tae?”
“Yeah, Hyung, I assume this means that the date didn’t go well, and you promised!” Jungkook reminded him, giving you a look that told you he knew that you were awake as well.
Taehyung looked down at you. “How am I supposed to explain?” he started. “How am I supposed to explain that each time I found a new ‘the one’ it was because I came too close to confessing to the only one who’s been the real one since we were kids, but Y/N’s my best friend.”
He was interrupted by Jungkook’s complaint, “I thought I was your best friend,” but Jimin quickly shut him up with an elbow to the side.
“But you promised, Tae,” he said.
“I know,” he sighed, “but Y/N is the most important thing in my life.” This made Jungkook pout again, but he stayed quiet.”
“Think about it, Tae,” Jimin told him. “I think Y/N deserves to know.” He winked at you one last time before turning to leave, pulling Jungkook with him.
Once the door was closed, Taehyung settled down again, wrapping himself back around you. You released his hand and turned over, pressing your face into his chest.
It took him a couple of minutes, but then he said, “You’re awake, aren’t you?”
“No?”
“Were you awake the whole time?”
“No?”
Instead of moving away like you thought he might, he pulled you closer. “And?”
“And what?”
“Come on. The only good thing that came out of this is that I don’t have to gather the courage to confess since I already kinda did. So, do you hate me now?”
“What about the position we’re currently in makes you think that I hate you?”
He chuckled. “Okay, so you just pity me then?”
“No,” you shoved him slightly, making sure you stayed close. “I feel bad that we needed Minnie and Kookie to intervene, but other than that, I’m really happy.”
“Happy?” he moved back from you so he could see your face. “Why happy?”
“The guy I like likes me back, what’s not to be happy about?”
“Wow, I’m an idiot,” he said, turning his face into the pillow.
You moved forward so you could cuddle with him again.
Neither of you spoke for a while, long enough that you thought you were just going to go back to sleep, but then he said, “I don’t like you, by the way. I love you.”
“I love you too, Pabo. Now let me sleep.”
With a chuckle, he got comfortable again. “Fair enough. Goodnight.”
“Goodnight,” you repeated, and you both fell asleep trying not to think about the shit you were going to get from Jimin and Jungkook in the morning.
It was worth it anyway.
AN: Proving once again that I am basically incapable of writing anything that doesn’t have a big confession scene at the end. I hope you enjoyed it.

Yoongi - A Borrowed Hoodie Part 18
First Part
Previous Part
AN: I finally finished this! OMG it’s been so long, I’m sorry!! This part is way longer than I thought it was going to be and it took me far longer than I thought it was going to.
Tumblr media
When you woke up the next morning to the sound of your alarm, at first you thought it was a mistake. It was Friday morning and you didn’t have any lectures on a Friday, so why would you be waking up before noon?
Then you remembered.
Jumping out of bed, you tried to remember all of the outfit options you had been running through in your head as you fell asleep. When you finally decided on one, you got ready for the day as fast as you could, running a little later than you should have been, the constant buzzing of your phone a reminder of that fact as your sister bugged you to hurry up.
As you were pulling on your shoes, you answered your phone. “I know, I know, I’m sorry, I’m leaving right now.”
“You’re running too late for the bus. I’m outside,” she told you, sounding slightly irritated but not particularly surprised. Having been a teenager when you moved in with her, she had never seen you willingly get up early except on Christmas Day.
In the car, she gave you a rundown of what was going to happen during the day. Then you spent all morning ferrying boxes around and being bossed around by your sister.
Finally, when everything was just about set up, Ji-Young came over to you, saying, “You ready? Only five minutes to go.”
You nodded, ignoring her as she shifted a few things on the desk that you had set up, just by a few millimetres. Instead, you checked your phone, the messages from Yoongi making you smile.
About to put your phone away, you froze when you heard the door open.
“Hi guys,” your sister greeted them as they came in. “Can we have Jin to make-up desk 1, Suga to 2, J-Hope to 3, RM, Jimin and V to Hair 1, 2 and 3. Jungkook, you take a seat for a minute and take the first open desk. Thank you.”
The boys all did as they were told, meaning Yoongi was coming straight towards you. You still didn’t move, facing away from him, still looking down at your phone. Watching him in the mirror, you saw him on his phone too. He was busy typing something, and you figured out what when your own phone buzzed in your hand.
Tumblr media
He was sitting down and typing something else as he said, without looking up, “Minimum possible please.”
“I think I can get it how you like it,” you told him, turning around as he looked up in surprise, almost dropping his phone.
His mouth dropped open, forming an adorable little ‘o’ shape as he realised you were right there.
Without saying anything, mouth still hanging open, he showed you his phone so you could read the message he had been in the middle of typing.
Tumblr media
You giggled. “Your wish is my command, I guess?” you said, shrugging.
In one smooth motion, he put his phone down on the desk in front of him, stood up and pulled you into his arms.
After just holding you for a while, he spoke, his lips brushing the top of your head, “I thought you said this was a one-time thing?”
“It was supposed to be,” you replied, just loud enough for him to hear it despite the muffling effect of your face being pressed to his chest, “but Ji’s a softie who can’t say no to her little sister.” Pushing him away gently, you added, “That won’t be the case next time I need a favour like this, however, if I don’t actually do your make-up.”
When you tried to push him into the chair so you could get to work, he just pulled you close to him again, wrapping his arms securely around you so you couldn’t escape. “One more minute.”
More than a minute later, you pushed him away again, this time succeeding in getting him to sit in the chair. While you did his make-up, you talked, just like the first time you had met, except when you were finished, you went over and stood by him while his hair was done, chatting then too.
Once all the boys were ready, it was time to say goodbye, but Yoongi was dragging his feet.
Wrapping his arms around you again, he asked, “Will you wait?”
“What do you mean?” you looked up at him as he ran a hand through your hair.
“Will you be here when I’m done?”
Looking around the room, you replied, “There’s a lot of clearing up to do. We’ll see how that goes.”
“Hyung,” Namjoon called out from the doorway, indicating with his head that it was time for them to go.
Yoongi ignored him, however, asking, “If not, can I call you after?”
Pressing your face into his chest again, you told him, “Of course.”
“Hyung,” Namjoon called again, more forceful this time.
Figuring out that Yoongi wasn’t going to go without a push, you did just that. “I’ll talk to you later.”
“Promise?” he asked, holding out his little finger.
“Shouldn’t this be the other way around?” you laughed. “I’m not the one who just disappeared for three days.”
He just wiggled his finger, pouting until you linked yours with his, saying, “Fine, I promise.”
Just as Namjoon was about to call out again, Yoongi kissed you on the forehead and finally pulled himself towards the rest of his group.
Once they were gone, you were back to being ordered around by your sister. You worked as quickly as you could, needing to get ready for the rest of your day.
Since you had been working for your sister, you had to wear black jeans and a smart black top, so you changed into something more comfortable before your sister took you to meet her friend, one of the security guards for the meet.
He let you into the room where the meet was happening, leading you to the end of the line.
Almost immediately, Jimin spotted you across the room and his face lit up. He waved at you excitedly, making Yoongi look up at him, then look in your direction to see what he was looking at. You hid behind the person in front of you in the queue, wanting to surprise him.
Peaking over the girl’s shoulder, you saw Yoongi looking back at Jimin, but Jimin still looking in your direction. Shaking your head at him, you mouthed, “Not yet.”
He nodded, understanding what you wanted.
Then he turned to Yoongi and seemed to tell him that he was waving at ‘Army’ before standing up and waving at the whole crowd with an adorable smile on his face. Yoongi just shook his head and turned to the next person in the queue to talk to him, the girl that was just moving on from Jimin.
You watched all of them, of course, but your eyes were obviously drawn most to Yoongi, your phone camera often drawn in that direction too.

Taking your place in front of Namjoon, you smiled as he looked surprised.
“Y/N?” he asked, before shaking his head, realising he wasn’t supposed to know your name. When the two of you looked around, you saw that no one seemed to have heard him, so you figured you probably didn’t have to worry too much.
“Hi Namjoon-ssi.”
It was his turn to smile as he asked, “Has Hyung seen you yet?”
“Not yet, despite Jimin spotting me while I was in the queue and almost giving me away.”
Shaking his head, he laughed. “I hope he doesn’t react too obviously.”
You hid your face with your hands, “I didn’t think of that…”
He reached out and took your hand, much like he would to most people who came to a fanmeet. “Don’t worry. Since you’re last in line, there will be fewer people around. I am glad, however, that he knows you’re here because you did his make-up. I think if you surprised him in front of everyone, he might have been very obvious indeed. He’s missed you a lot.”
“Not as much as I’ve missed him, I’m sure. Thanks for contacting me yesterday, by the way. I was worried about him.”
He replied, “No, thank you. We all tried to get him to come home and sleep, but when he gets like that he doesn’t listen to any of us anymore. When Jin-hyung said as much, I thought of you.”
“Well, now you have my number. Feel free to contact me whenever you need me to nag him. I am happy to do it.”
“I’ll bear that in mind,” he laughed. “Although I do hope that you being around will remind him that he can’t act like that. It’s not healthy and it makes those that care for him worry.”
Then your time was up.
Before you could be ushered to move on, you remembered the album you had brought to be signed.
“I almost forgot…would you mind…?” you asked, opening it onto the picture of Namjoon you had chosen.
He looked surprised again, but only for a second before those dimples of his appeared as he smiled. “Of course.” Then he quickly signed the page before you moved to the position in front of Jin, next to him.
As you had delayed moving to Jin, he had seen that you were there already by the time you came to him, so there was no surprise on his face as he said, “Well this is a little bit of déjà vu, isn’t it?”
You laughed, “Hopefully it won’t end the same way this time.”
“It better not,” he replied, pointing an accusing finger as a fake frown appeared on his face.
Holding both hands up in defence, you promised, “I’ll do my best.”
His frown didn’t disappear as he was clearly not completely happy with your answer, but he reached out his hand for the album you had put on the desk in front of him. As he flicked through the pages, recognition dawned on his face. He opened it to the page he had signed before.
“Wow,” he sighed. “It’s so weird to think of you being that same girl from before,” he added thoughtfully. When he shook it off, however, he laughed, “You don’t even need me to sign this, I already did!”
Reaching to take the album back, you turned to another page you had picked out. “I thought you could sign another one, if that’s okay…”
He nodded in agreement and started writing on the other page you had put in front of him. When you tried to see what he was writing, however, he covered it with his arm, narrowing his eyes at you.
“I’m going to read it in a minute anyway!” you exclaimed.
“Not until it’s done!” he complained.
You left him to it and a little while later, it was time to move on as he handed your album back to you, closed.
Knowing you didn’t have long with each member, you tried not to delay another time. You thanked Jin and moved to take the spot in front of Jungkook, but Jin stopped you briefly, saying,
“Thank you for your help with Yoongi. You seem to be good for him.” It was the most serious thing he had said so far but there was a smile on his face.
You nodded and smiled, turning away as heat rushed to your cheeks, hoping your reaction was not too obvious to the guys.
Moving in front of Jungkook, you nodded to him in greeting. He was the one you were most nervous to encounter. Even though Jimin had told you that Jungkook was only uncertain about you in the beginning because he couldn’t figure out where he knew you from and even though you were pretty sure you had earned some points with him when you picked a Marvel movie for movie night, he was still the member you were least comfortable around. You were working on it.
He apparently didn’t think you needed to work on it though. There was a wide smile on his face as he greeted you and took your album from your hands. He flicked through it for a second before laughing.
“You’re one of us now,” he said, showing you the page Jin had just written on, “Jin-hyung nags you too.”
“I nag out of love!” Jin called out from his position still right beside him.
“That was my point, Hyung,” Jungkook told him, pushing him back into his seat from where he had been leaning over to butt into your time with Jungkook.
When you actually took a second to read what Jin had written, you saw that it said,
“Take better care of yourself. Don’t faint again! Especially not around me!
Make sure you:
1. Eat well
2. Drink regularly
3. Come over often so I can make sure you eat well and drink regularly.”
He had started heading over to put some of the gifts he had been given away, but you made a note to thank him the next time you saw him.
“Where do you want me to sign?” Jungkook asked, skimming the other pages of the photobook. As you took it back to find the right page for him, he added, “This is the one you brought before, right? Before we knew you.” When you nodded, he laughed, “I’m pretty sure Tae will have more to write this time than ‘To Y/N’ and then his signature. He’s been complaining all week about Yoongi being too busy to invite you over.”
Handing the book back to him, you smiled. “Next time, tell him to text me and we can complain together about Yoongi being too busy.”
“I’ll do that.”
You tilted your head at him, confused when he started flicking through the pages again. “What are you doing?”
“If Jin-hyung, Hobi-hyung and Tae get two pages, I want two pages too!”
Laughing, you agreed, “Okay, this photobook is going to be so full by the end of this at this rate.”
“You should keep bringing it to every fanmeet until every page is full.”
“So you think this is going to be a regular occurrence?”
Smirking as he signed his chosen page, he said, “I’m pretty sure.”
Then time was up and he handed your photobook straight onto Taehyung who was next on the table.
“You might be right,” you told him before moving in front of Taehyung.
Having been talking to the girl in front of you when Jungkook handed him your album right until she moved, he hadn’t seen you until you were right there.
“Y/N!” he exclaimed, smiling that boxy smile of his, making you smile too.
“Tae!” you replied, laughing as you tried to sound as upbeat as him.
“I haven’t seen you in forever!”
“It’s only been a couple of weeks,” you consoled him.
“Exactly,” he whined.
“Didn’t Jimin give you my number? You could have texted me!”
“He didn’t!”
You laughed as he pouted at you. “He gave me yours so I’ll text you later and you’ll have mine. I feel like if I tried to give you my number now, we’d both get in trouble.”
“You may be right,” Taehyung conceded, finally looking down at the album in his hands. As he flicked through the pages, his eyes widened. “I’ve signed this before! Do you want me to sign it again?”
“Yes, please.” You took the album from him, showing him the corresponding pages as you said, “Look, Jin signed it again, and Jungkook decided to sign it twice because you, Jin and J-Hope get to.” Then you flicked to the page you had chosen for him this time, handing it back to him.
As he signed the page, he asked, “So, can you come over tonight?”
You laughed. “I don’t have anything on. You should check with the other members before you invite me over though. I don’t want to get in the way.”
“Why do you constantly think you’re getting in the way? We want you to come over more!”
“I am always happy to spend time with you guys, but I would feel more comfortable if you checked with the others first.”
Narrowing his eyes at you as he pouted, he recovered quickly, saying, “You’re the last one here so I’ll ask the hyungs after this.” With his head he indicated towards where Namjoon and Jin were chatting with Jungkook now that they had talked to everyone. “First, though, while we still a little bit of time, how on earth did you manage to convince Yoongi-Hyung to come home last night?”
“I guilt tripped him for making me worry.”
Laughing, he handed your album back to you. “Sometimes the classics work, you might have to get more creative next time.”
“I’ll start thinking of tactics tonight.”
“Come over and I’ll help.”
As your time was up, you had the last word. “Check with your hyungs and I’ll be there.”
Moving in front of Hoseok, you looked back to see Taehyung pointing at the other guys, mouthing, “I’m going to ask them now,” as clearly as he could. Then he almost did a double take and moved back towards the table, leaning over Hoseok’s shoulder as he added, “Nice hoodie, by the way,” before rushing off to talk to his hyungs as you had asked him to.
Hoseok looked confused for a second before a looked of recognition flashed across his face and he smiled. “Tae’s right, it’s a nice hoodie. There’s something familiar about it though.” The way he spoke and the look on his face made his meaning clear; he knew exactly where he recognised the hoodie from.
You hid your face behind the album in your hands until Hoseok reached out and took it from you, flipping through it to see what the other members had written. Like Jungkook, he laughed when he found Jin’s new page. “We might as well give you a stage name and a room in the dorm. You’re one of us now.”
“So I’ve been told,” you giggled along with him.
Still looking through the book, he looked confused, alternating between Jungkook’s two pages. “I didn’t think you got to Jungkook last time?”
“I didn’t.”
Suddenly, he nodded, understanding perfectly. “Our maknae didn’t think it was fair that he only got one page where some of us got two?”
You laughed again, “Exactly.”
“Well, I was planning to just add a comment to the page I signed before, but now I’m tempted to sign two more pages, just to see what Jungkook would do about it.”
“Oh my gosh, don’t! Next time I come he’ll want to sign three pages, then this book is going to fill up even faster.”
He looked up from signing the page you had marked for him, “You’re going to bring the same album again next time?”
“I wasn’t going to, but Jungkook suggested it and I thought it would be cute.”
“I wonder how long it will take you to fill up all of our albums,” he said, making you smile because he expected you to be around long enough to fill all of their albums.
“What makes you think I have all of your albums?” you joked, but he just gave you a knowing look, eyes flickering down again to the hoodie you were wearing as he held out the album for you to take because your time was up. “Fair,” you conceded as you moved in front of Jimin.
After smiling at you, Jimin looked immediately at Yoongi, expecting him to react, but he was already too caught up in the conversation with the girl in front of you to notice. “I can’t believe he hasn’t seen you yet.”
“You certainly tried your best to give me away…” you grumbled, faking a frown.
He chuckled, “That wasn’t my best. I’ll try harder next time.”
“I think you’ll have to,” you giggled, looking at Yoongi who was still completely unaware of your presence.
“I think I’ll have to get my phone camera ready for when he finally notices.”
“I think if you’re going to do that, you’re also going to have to get ready to run.”
“I think I’ll be fine, just look at his powers of observation…” He held out his hand as if he was going to nudge Yoongi as he was talking but faked out at the last second.
“I think you should leave him alone.”
He pouted. “I think you always think I should leave hyung alone.”
Laughing, you said, “I think you really wanted to keep this ‘I think’ streak going.”
Joining you in laughing, trying not to get loud so Yoongi would stay oblivious, he said, “I think you may be right.”
“I think I would like you to sign my album before we forget about it if that’s okay.”
Noticing the slightly awkward phrasing in your sentence as you had tried to find a way to keep the streak going, he laughed again. “I think it might be time to drop the ‘I think’ thing.” As you nodded, he added, “I would love to sign your album by the way.”
You handed the album to him, opening it on the page marked for him.
The entire time he was signing it, he kept glancing between you and Yoongi, just like you were glancing between him and Yoongi. Neither of you wanted to be rude to the other but you were both waiting for Yoongi to finally figure out that you were right next to him.
When the time was up, you looked back at Jimin fully, watching him as he hurried the last of what he wanted to write.
Of course, when neither of you were looking at him was when Yoongi saw you.
“Y/N?” he said, confused.
You looked at the girl who had been talking to him, who was now looking at you. “You remembered!” you said when you turned back to Yoongi. It seemed to work at least a little, and the girl moved on, but she kept looking back at the two of you.
As Yoongi shook his head a little, seeming to remember that you were in public, you said, “I shouldn’t have come, I’m sorry.”
He caught your hand as you tried to turn away. “No!” Lowering his voice as a couple of people turned around. “I’m just not used to having to be ‘Suga’ around you. It’s a nice surprise, I promise.”
Then Taehyung came running over and called out, “The hyungs said yes!” before he had even got to you.
Luckily, when you checked, security had already led everyone else out of the room. You assumed Namjoon had something to do with that.
“‘Yes’ to what?” Yoongi asked, turning around to see Tae, but keeping your hand in his.
“Y/N is going to come over after this.”
“You are?” he asked, looking back at you.
“If that’s okay with you?”
He laughed. “Are you kidding? Of course it is. Let’s go!”
Standing up, he used your joined hands to gently tug you to your feet as well. As he pulled you around the end of the table so you were on the same side as him, you remembered your album at the last second. Jimin must have put it between the two of you, but you didn’t notice at the time.
As soon as you were on the same side of the table as Yoongi, he wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into his side as you walked back to the room where they could get changed into more comfortable clothes.
You hovered outside, planning to find out where your sister had ended up until the guys were ready, but Yoongi just pulled you inside.
“I’ll go…” you started.
“We’ve got to do our group photo first,” he laughed at your worried expression. “Then I’ll get changed after one of the other guys is ready to keep you company.”
Namjoon came over to you as you entered, the other guys already gathering on the sofa; Jungkook and Taehyung on one side with their arms around each other, then Jin and Jimin, and Hoseok balancing on the arm next to them.
“Would you take the picture? We normally ask a staff member…” Namjoon trailed off, holding his phone out to you.
“Sure!” you said, happy to be included.
You took the offered phone and Namjoon went to take his perch on the arm of the sofa next to Jungkook and Taehyung. Yoongi squeezed your hand quickly, before heading over to the sofa too. Seeing that there were no more open spots, he tilted his head at Jimin who pouted for a second before leaving his spot and perching on the edge of the sofa between Jin’s legs. After Yoongi filled Jimin’s vacated spot, they all posed, most with a simple peace sign and a smile, though Jimin added leaning on Taehyung’s legs to the mix.
You took a few pictures with them in a couple of different positions so they would be able to pick the best one, then you gave Namjoon back his phone.
A few of the guys started to move to get up and get ready to go home, but Jimin called out, “Can we get one with all of us?”
“You have a secret eighth member I don’t know about?” you giggled.
“He meant you!” Taehyung told you, laughing.
You were always surprised when they wanted to include you in things. Wondering if you would ever get used to it, you tentatively crouched on the floor in front of Yoongi as Namjoon held up his phone, using the front camera and trying to fit all eight of you in the shot. You were making it particularly challenging from your position on the floor, being relatively far away from the others.
“You could sit on Yoongi-hyung’s lap!” Jimin suggested.
When you looked up at Yoongi, he smiled at you and shrugged, making it clear that it was up to you. Seeing that you weren’t sure, he spread his legs and patted the sofa between them. You decided to do as Jimin did not what he said and perched there.
As soon as you sat down, Yoongi placed his hands on your waist, with a look to make sure you were okay with it. You leant back against his chest, purely to make it easier to fit you in the photo, of course.
“Time to get ready to go, guys,” Namjoon told them.
Yoongi led you to a nearby room, another one with a sofa on so he could rest. He was very quiet, but you kind of expected that. He had just spent hours talking to people non-stop. You were not surprised that he just wanted to sit quietly for a while.
As he sat down on one end of the sofa and closed his eyes, you gave him some space and sat at the other end, getting your phone out rather than bother him. You hadn’t even unlocked your phone, however, when he hummed slightly, holding his arm out towards you without opening his eyes.
Taking the hint, you smiled, curling up against his side, making sure your shoes didn’t touch the sofa, of course. The arm he had been holding out to you wrapped around your waist and he rested his chin gently on your head.
That was how you still were a few minutes later when both of you opened your eyes to the sound of whispers. When you saw Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook giggling and taking photos of the two of you, you placed a hand on Yoongi’s chest to stop him from chasing them off. It did nothing to stop him from shouting, “Yah,” at them though.
“Namjoon-hyung said you have to hurry and get ready to go,” Jungkook told him, grabbing his arm and pulling him to his feet.
The other two flopped down either side of you on the sofa.
“We’ll keep Y/N company,” Jimin said as they both tried to wrap an arm around you at the same time and ended up kind of fist-bumping behind your back, making all three of you laugh.
Looking back at you giggling with his members, Yoongi stopped fighting the maknae as he shoved him out of the room, towards the room where the others were still changing.
A few minutes later, when Yoongi was ready to go, he re-entered the room to hear you laughing again, this time along with all of the other members, the older members having joined you as soon as they were ready.
When you spotted him, your smile grew even wider and you waved at him, the action alerting Namjoon to his presence.
“Are we all ready?” he asked, standing.
With nods and sounds of affirmation all around, the eight of you got moving, split between two cars to go back to the dorm. You went with Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung, the latter driving with Jimin in the passenger seat and you and Yoongi in the back.
As you set off, you remembered the album again. “Hey, Yoongi,” you said, holding it out to him. “You never signed my album.”
“I don’t think he ever noticed what you were wearing either,” Taehyung added.
“I noticed,” he smirked, looking at you wearing his hoodie, “I just didn’t think it was a good idea mentioning it at the meet.” He paused, adding, “I think you look beautiful,” as he took the album from you, opening it to the page marked with his name and using the pen Jimin tossed to him to write a message which he then hid from you, saying, “Read it when you get home.”
After the short drive back to the dorm, you found yourselves spread around the living room, arguing over what to watch. Jimin and Taehyung wanted a romance, Namjoon and Jungkook fought for an artsy movie, Hoseok was hoping for a sports movie and Jin was singing the praises of an old classic. Yoongi stayed quiet, watching you slowly fall asleep curled up next to him, head resting on his chest, not wanting to disturb you.
The others all said goodnight quietly after watching the movie and left you sleeping next to Yoongi, who waved off any offers of help carrying you to a bed.
Looking down at you, he saw some hair had fallen in front of your face. His hand was reaching for it before he stopped himself, shaking his head at the cheesy action he had been about to perform.
But then you scrunched up your nose as it was tickled by that hair and he couldn’t hold himself back. He tucked the hair back behind your ear and the gentle brush of his fingers against your cheek was enough to wake you up, your eyes flickering open as he pulled his hand back.
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” he said as you started to sit up.
You waved him off, looking around, confused, “Where did the others go?”
“They went to bed when the movie ended,” he told you. When you pouted, he smiled. “Were you tired, Jagi?” he asked.
Blushing, you told him, “I had to get up early to help my sister get everything set up and I didn’t exactly get to bed early last night.”
He rubbed the back of his neck, “Oh, yeah.”
“Aren’t you tired too?”
“Honestly, I napped during the movie too.”
You punched his arm, only gently, but it made him react like you’d hit him with all your strength, pouting and whining at you. “You should have woken me up and sent me home so you could sleep properly!”
“But I was comfy,” he said, yanking your arm so you fell against him again, frowning for barely a second before cuddling up against him again.
A moment later, you looked up at him. “Can we watch a movie now?”
He chuckled and you felt the vibrations in his chest. “So you’re awake now?”
You nodded, “Why? Are you still tired? Should I go?” As you sat up, ready to leave him so he could get some rest, he pulled you back against him again.
“I didn’t say that.” Wrapping one arm around you and using the other to get his phone out of his pocket, opening up Netflix. “What do you want to watch?”
“Anything,” you told him, getting comfortable.
“Are you going to stay awake this time?”
“Maybe. Are you?” you asked.
He shrugged, “Probably not.”

Namjoon - Bobble
Summary: You always forget a bobble and when Namjoon notices, he tries to help.
Tumblr media
As usual, you found yourself curled up on the sofa in Namjoon’s studio on a Friday night. While Namjoon worked on some new music, you got on with you homework, only half paying attention to it as you waited, and hoped, for the inevitable.
This meant you were ready as soon as he turned around and said, “Hey, can you listen to this?”
You stood up from your position on the sofa, scraping your hair up into a ponytail, only to realise you didn’t have a bobble, so you let it fall back over your shoulders, just brushing it behind your ears before putting on the headphones Namjoon was offering you.
For the rest of the night, the two of you passed the headphones back and forth, discussing the music. He did most of the talking, needing to work through his thoughts out loud, but he also valued your opinion when you chose to give it.
Eventually, when you leaned your head on his shoulder, eyes drooping, he realised the time.
“Come on, Jagi,” he said, wrapping his arm around you. “I think it might be time to take you home.”
You shook your head, not wanting to pull him away from his work before he was ready. “I’m okay,” you said, sitting up straight. “Keep going,” you told him, rubbing your eyes.
He kept looking at you for a couple of seconds after you slipped his headphones back on over his ears, but when you smiled at him, reassuring him that you really were fine, he went back to his work.
To keep yourself awake, you started braiding your hair, but obviously you ran into the same problem as before because you still didn’t have a bobble.
As you unravelled your hair, pulling your fingers through it, Namjoon popped the headphones over your ears again, almost trapping your hand in the process. The part of the song he had been working on was already playing as you pulled your hand free and wrinkled your nose at him while he mouthed, ‘Sorry.’
“Are you happy with it?” you asked when it was over.
“I think I am, yeah.” He nodded, glancing at the program on the screen once more.
You smiled. “Good, ‘cause I think it’s perfect.”
“I think you’re perfect,” he replied immediately, his smile revealing his adorable dimples, just for a second, before he kissed you on the forehead, only to instantly reveal them again when he pulled back. “Home time.” He grabbed both of your hands and pulled you to your feet.
Before he could pull you to the door, you had to untaffle yourself from the headphones. After quickly grabbing your homework stuff, you grabbed his hand again, letting him lead you to the car so he could drop you home on his way back to the dorm.
A couple of days later, you were back in Namjoon’s studio, back in your place on the sofa. This time, however, Yoongi was there too, not an uncommon occurrence.
Again, you were busy with homework, waiting for the excuse to do anything else.
“Jagi?”
“Yes, Joonie?”
“How’s the homework going?”
“Incredibly dull. Thank you.”
“You wanna…?”
“Yes!”
He laughed at your eagerness as you wouldn’t even let him finish the sentence before you jumped up from your seat, pulling your hair up into a ponytail only to find your wrist once again empty, no bobble.
You hair fell over your shoulders as you dropped it, reaching out for the headphones Yoongi was half-heartedly holding out in your direction without looking away from his screen.
“Thanks, Yoongs,” you said, sitting in Namjoon’s lap since Yoongi was in your normal seat.
You tucked your hair over one shoulder before starting to put the headphones on, but Namjoon stopped you.
“I almost forgot!” He put his arms around you and you saw him pull a bobble off his wrist, or rather, half pull it off before snapping it, managing to ping both you and himself in the process.
Then he did that cute little embarrassed/disappointed face and you couldn’t help but kiss his nose. “It’s okay, Joonie. Thanks for the thought.”
“Gross,” Yoongi said, eyes still on the screen. “Can we please get on with it?”
This time you actually put the headphones on, sticking your tongue out at Yoongi as soon as he looked up at you as the song started playing in your ears.
The two of them worked for hours, you going back and forth between the sofa and Namjoon’s lap whenever they wanted your input until they finished for the night and dropped you home on their way back to the dorms.
The next Friday, you were back in your spot.
This time, you didn’t have any homework, so you were reading instead. Even so, you jumped at the chance to help Namjoon when he asked you to listen to what him and Yoongi were working on again.
As usual, you had forgotten to bring a bobble, so when you tried to put your hair up, you had to give up and let it fall straight back down again.
“I brought you a bobble!” Namjoon exclaimed, remembering just as you were about to sit on his lap.
The next thing you knew, his little pout had appeared.
He had broken another bobble.
“You brought a spare,” Yoongi told him, rolling his eyes as he continued to work.
“Oh, yeah.” Namjoon’s smile only lasted a second before he broke the spare too.
“Joonie…” you whined, plonking yourself down on his lap. “You’re a mess, but I love you more than anything in the world.” You kissed his nose as he wrapped his arms around you.
“Gross,” Yoongi said, but when you looked over, he was holding out a bobble for you.
“Aww,” you cooed at him, standing up and reaching out for the bobble. Then you leaned over and kissed the side of his head. “Cutie.”
“Sit the fuck down and get on with the song,” he told you, but there was a smile on his face as you tied your hair up and put the headphones on.
