Hello Kitty comfort piece <3 I only had one tiny canvas left but I wanted to paint so I thought I'd try painting digitally the same way I would with acrylic. I think it's pretty cute, painting this was like a hug for my soul and my eyeballs ;o;

(Drawing Askblog Once-ler Fandom Characters Part.3 REDO) I decided I really wanted to redraw my genderbent Teenage One for my askblog characters series. :3

One of the main reasons I redrew her was because I didn't really feel like I did her justice with my first drawing (I did kind of rush it at 1am honestly :<). Another reason was I drew her before actually knowing literally anything about Teen One. Like anything! I hadn't even found the Thornville AU blogs yet, I'm so silly :'). Soooo here she is and oh my god I love this drawing, I'm sooo much happier with this one aaaaaahh ;o; It took me forever but I'm so happy with everything about it and she's looking so pretty :'3 (Silly side note, as I was drawing this my friend who's not even a Onceling was like "she's hot, I'd do her" xD)

I think a big part of the reason this drawing is so much better than the first one was because it came from a place of affection not just for the Once-ler fandom but also for Teen One as a character. I had discovered his old blog and loved reading through his posts. He seemed mostly just like a normal teenager, even like one of my friends, and I loved his friendships with Bitter and Swag and teenage swoncest AAAH xD. He wasn't One-ler (iykyk) AT ALL it seemed, and he still had his heart and humanity, which I had strongly suspected before but it was nice to see that was true. That Teen One wasn't a scary character, just a young guy. (I think there's a deoncelerized version of his character who might be more One-ler-like but Idk at all honestly). I’m unsure of his ending in the AU so he might become scary but it’s still interesting to see him before that happened. When he was just a young boy with his humanity and a heart, making friends and living a mostly normal life! Honestly I’m okay not knowing his future and just appreciating what’s actually canon/actually happened in the Thronville AU when it was still going. (I have headcanons about his ending but I’ll keep those to myself since these aren’t my characters!)

Knowing more about him and loving his blog, I felt I had to redo my drawing of fem teen One, so here she is!! I drew her on a school campus at sunset :3 I intentionally made the school look like it could be Thronville High School or a college because even though it didn't happen in the Thronville AU I was like "aww what if all the OCs went to college together as well? What if Swag and One shared a dorm room? What if them going to college alters the timeline enough that One gets a normal happy future?" and I got attached to this idea so I decided to incorporate it into the drawing :'3

(Also Thronville AU Swoncest is so adorable, but for some reason when I see them genderbent and they're cute lesbians I just *CRIES HAPPY TEARS, MELTS* ;O; I seriously might have to make some lesbian Swoncest art)

(Once-ler Fandom Askblog Characters Part 4.) FEM SWAG MY BELOVED AAAAAAHH!!! As soon as I saw genderbent Swag I knew I HAD to draw her, she's so cute!! xD I also love the trope in TV of the snarky, funny girl who's kind of mean for some reason ;o; so it worked out perfectly I think xD!! (As always, click "keep reading" for more info and my rambling!)

This might be some of the most fun I've ever had drawing a picture 😭. I was probably smiling the whole time xD. I've really been wanting to use this sort of neon pen and thought this drawing was perfect for it and that neon totally fits the vibe of Swag! I put a lot of references in this drawing so if you get them feel free to leave a comment! :3 <33 One reference I'd like to point out is I gave her a peppermint chocolate mocha! I saw an old Swag fanart of Swag drinking a peppermint hot chocolate so I thought this was a cute way to reference that! :3 I'm so very happy with this one!! (Also yes, she's who I was referencing in my One post :3 they will be cute lesbians together)

(Once-ler Fandom Askblog Characters Part 3.) I want to dedicate this drawing to my dear friend Miru :3❤️@miru667. I know you loved Swag and One's askblogs back when they were active and loved Swoncest xD. Thank you so much for being there for me, it means so much and I send lots of love! :3 You're like my Once-ler fandom big sister xD 💗 (keep reading for more info and a little writeup about the Once-ler fandom) :3

I decided to draw One's genderbent version as I thought she was such a pretty goth girl (also because I drew another Once-ler she's shipped with as a girl and wanted them to be cute lesbians, you can see her in my next post xD). I love her hair, that's ponytail goals right there. I also wasn't sure how to draw her shirt because I've seen some One-ler fanarts where his shirt has nothing on it, and other ones where it has a butterfly on it, but I wasn't sure what the butterfly was from or how to draw it so I decided to draw Jack Skellington inspired by this funny post by Swag xD. (Jack Skellington is both a Tim Burton character and popular on Hot Topic merch, lol). Also I think she's supposed to have a chain on her pants, sorry if I missed or messed up any other details ;o;

I'll be honest and say my hsp/anxiety self was pretty scared of One-ler at first (if you don't know about the character and are very sensitive or squeamish maybe don't look into it, she's very horror genre inspired) but I talked to Miru about it and she was so sweet, kind, comforting and supportive and really helped me feel better! It means so much to me you helped me through anxiety Miru, thank you so much :3🙏❤️

Then I thought about how beloved this character was, in the early fandom days esspecially, and about the fact this is somebody's OC who they would have loved dearly and poured their heart and soul into! I also realized I was taking it too seriously (I tend to do that with fictional scary things, like it's not real :P) and that obviously One-ler's mod didn't at all create her character to scare or offend anybody!! We all create our OCs to have fun and connect with others and that's part of the beauty of this fandom!

This fandom has brought so many people together and allows so much creative freedom and artistic expression and that's a beautiful thing! The creativity of the Onceler Fandom is part of what makes it so special and feel like a safe place for so many people! (also the horror genre can be appealing to some people because it represents metaphorical darkness in lots of ways, and we've all been through darkness in our lives and deserve a healthy way to vent, like with art! If you're easily spooked like me that's totally okay and you don't have to engage at all! But please be respectful of people's OCs, this is a very personal fandom :3).

So I decided that I did really want to draw One. I wanted to honour the original Oncelings, the fandom as a whole, my friend Miru and One-ler's mod, wherever she is :3 I really, really hope I did her character justice and that she would like this drawing <33 . (If you're seeing this, I'm so sorry I was so scared of your character at first ;o;) I’m way less scared of them now and it felt really empowering to face my fears and not let anxiety hold me back <3 If you read my whole essay, thank you so much xD I send you all so much love!! ^w^ 💕💕

I had so much fun drawing this and am so very happy with how it turned out! ;o; I really wish Gent was still active here because I'd love to see what he would think! ❤️I really hope I did him and his mod justice and that this piece would bring them joy <33

I absoluetly adore Gent, and reading through his askblog brings me so much joy! ^^ I was laughing and smiling so much! He really is such a gentleman xD. I love how polite and proper he is and his use of words like "jolly good" and "darling" and his love of tea (same). I honestly couldn't help but hear him in my head with a very proper English accent as I was reading his posts (like Hugh Grant's voice almost) xD. I don't mean to make headcanons about a character that isn't mine or anything, that's just how I personally heard his voice ^^ If any of you know what Gent's voice would have sounded like please let me know :3!! 💕 I also may or may not already be working on an art piece of another askblog character ^^

Aaaah please please tell me at least one Once-ling gets this reference! x3 ;o; 🙏 I wanted to make a silly little drawing of Bitter Once-ler with the only thing that doesn't make him more bitter and that would be corn 🌽 xD. I found his old askblog recently and laughed so much at his one liners and attitude and how grumpy and funny he is xD. I wanted my Audrey to have two outfits. One that was darker and cooler colors for the middle of the story when she's going through harder times, and one outfit that was brighter with warmer colors to represent she's healing along with nature towards the end of the story. The first drawing I posted was of her first outfit. For this second drawing I also wanted to draw her looking more playful and happy, I've also been wanting to draw a character in this pose for a while xD (if you're wondering the L is directed at Once-ler, whom she lovingly teases like he's her brother)

(Audrey Art part 1.) I have my own AU Audrey/Audrey OC for my "Once-ler-pon A Time" fic now and this is her and I love her. This is Audrey Flowers and she's 20! Click "Keep Reading" to hear all about her!!!

My Audrey seems very serious and somewhat closed off before you properly meet her, partly because her parents are very critical of her and judgemental and because she's constantly been picked on by classmates. But also because the destruction of nature and beginning of O'Hare's dictatorship started when she was a teenager so she was forced to grow up too fast and become pessimistic and sad.

But once you get to know my Audrey and she trusts you, she will love you and trust you deeply forever. Once she trusts you she's very very silly and playful and totally embraces her inner child around you. She will constantly do silly things.

She's also extremely gentle and polite, even before she knows or trusts anybody, but if she senses injustice she is fierce and fights back. She's extremely protective over her loved ones and has strong morals.

She's also very artistic, mostly liking painting and dancing. She finds painting is the only way she can truly express herself and her inner child without her parents or strangers judging.

One day Audrey gets tired of living in Thneedville and trying to be a "perfect, lady-like young woman" for her parents so she sneaks out of town and while aimlessly exploring she comes across the Once-ler who's been isolated for a few years and is an emotional mess. She hates him at first when she realized what he's done and who he is, but she soon comes to understand why he did what he did and realizes he actually has a pure heart and feels like a scared little kid who grew up too fast just like her (And he has mama issues just like her). They end up becoming best friends with a sibling-like bond and I love them. (My Audrey is actually partly inspired by my best friend Monique as my Once-ler is partly based off me xD)
