BLITZO HAS A TYPE
From the 3 characters that we know blitzo has been very attracted to there is a PATTERN. they don't all meet each criteria but he definitely seems to seek out the same types
HEART SHAPED FACE
Big eyes
Beaky type mouth/pointed down at the top lip
WIDE mouth, big smiles
tall (fizz seems to be tall for an imp) or at least LEGGY
HIPS
fancy/more intellectual/bookish
SASSY BITCH
kind of feminine/soft
Performers, honestly all seem to be pretty into performing and singing
Generally being dramatic
A bit dorky/goofy
Smart
RICH/acts rich
They just all kind of look like each other right? And there are definitely similar personalities (theatre twinks)

Thinking of helluva boss characters and how they each have different deadly sins that impact them negatively
I know all of these are a result of trauma and for some the only way to deal with their situation. I just think it's interesting how the show shows healthy and unhealthy ways to experience the deadly sins
Stolas' worst sins - now some might think lust right away but i don't think his lust for blitzo as the actual issue, it was how he handled everything around it. If anything Stolas' lust was kinda healthy for him.
Gluttony - excessive drinking, clearly shown as an unhealthy coping mechanism
Sloth - He avoids handling issues directly, takes a very passive approach to his life until everything falls apart
Blitzo's worst sins
Pride - Very much refusing to be vulnerable, avoiding issues like Stolas but it comes from a different place. Very ashamed of feeling less intellectual than others
Wrath - His angry outbursts keep literally blowing up his life, or at the very least getting them into bad situations.
I know he does sometimes kinda express lust in an unhealthy way, but it never feels like actual lust, more like he's trying to prove he's good enough (pride).
Moxxie
Envy & Pride - they kinda mush together for him. He definitely likes to feel intellectually superior, but is deeply insecure about not being good at things (unhappy campers)
Millie - a little proof we need more millie development cause hers is def the least clear
Pride & sloth - seemingly weird picks but hear me out. She also avoids letting people know she needs help, and tends to take a backseat approach where she is a helper in others lives. I know she shows a lot of the sin of wrath, but actually thinking about it it's always appropriate to the situation and it's never hurting people who don't deserve it. Like she has a healthy display of wrath.
Loona
Pride & Wrath - Avoidant and angry, doesn't like to let people in. Does rage out on people who don't really deserve it. Definitely does not want to appear vulnerable ever.
Octavia
SLOTH - My avoidant passive baby bird, my poor lonely depressed teenager
Envy - She's very jealous of blitzo taking any of her dads attention
Stella, Andy, Stricker - Greed.

Prophecies don't exist and Stolas cannot see the future/how the Goetia lie about free will. Stolas has been lied to.
I see a lot of posts talking about stolas' prophetic abilities and how maybe he knew many of the events that were going to happen etc.
Those have never really made sense to me because Stolas is arguable caught by surprise more than anyone else. We see him constantly being confused, oblivious, shocked etc. In fact, his main flaw is that he is unaware of how his actions will impact others. So that made me think, for a character who is supposed to be able to see the future, why did he never use this power to try to not fuck it all up.
My theory is: Prophecies don't exist and they never have, in fact that power CAN'T exist because fate is not at all predetermined, it's always been a lie, and this fits into the premise of the show so well.
When we first learn about prophecies it's when Stolas is a kid and he's been told he has the power to use the stars to find prophecies
He has NO idea how to find prophecies, and Paimon was super vague, he was given no instruction.
I think that the old Goetia want the new Goetia and the lower classes to think fate is predetermined, that they can see the future, because if everything is decided already by the "stars" no one will step out of place or defy their fates. Why challenge an authority if it is hopeless to change anything.
Both Hellaverse shows focus on free will, not needing to follow the path someone else put out for you, that you CAN choose your own future. They focus on the idea that authority will LIE to you to keep the status quo and make you think you cannot do anything to change the way things are.
If stolas could see the future he sure would have done things differently but he CANT because the future is a result of the CHOICES you make.
I don't think stolas knows this, I think either he thought he was just failing at his job but has no one to confide in, or because he's been shown to have such an intense imagination, he's been sort of unintentionally creating his own interpretations of "prophecies" based on what he sees. Sort of like when you do Tarot cards you can make stories to go with what cards you get.

My thoughts on Striker as a PERFECT narrative foil for Blitzo
I've been watching a lot of reactions and reading through theories about HB given the new ep.
One thing I keep seeing is this surprise that Striker would work with the Nobles against Blitzo, considering how outspoken he was about hating royals.
To me, this makes perfect sense and I think they established this for the character early on. Striker hates Blitzo because Blitzo is exactly who Striker THOUGHT he was, and who he claims to be.
The thing is with Striker, I think a review I just watched of tbskyen got it spot on during his first appearance in Harvest Festival. "He doesn't seem to articulate an argument against the hierarchy so much as an argument against his place in it."
Striker, as much as he wants to be seen as a class hero, looks down on other imps and hellhounds, and his resentment is the HE should be above them. He says so to Blitzo.
"Blitzo, c'mon. You know the two of us are superior than most of our kind."
And he REPEATEDLY belittles other imps
"Don't worry, little one. You never stood a chance."
"Plus, you little things ain't worth the cleanup." ―Striker before locking Millie and Moxxie in the cellar
"I still think it’s embarrassing. You’re wasting a lot of potential relying on a weak little-" ―Striker about Moxxie
Calling Fizz a "worthless little pet"
I think I still missed some but you get the idea.
Striker think he and Blitzo are better than other imps, and don;t deserve to be subservient.
But here's the funny thing, BLITZO is the one who started and runs his own business, who became his own boss. And he uses that position to actually pull up other imps and hellhounds. Blitzo, for all of his jokes, fucking respects Moxxie's skill, he doesn't let anyone treat Loona like his pet. He uses his position as being seen as stronger than other imps to help others see their own worth. When Millie was speaking bad about herself:
Millie: We don't deserve this. We're just Wrathians, Blitzo. Muscle. It's all we're good for, all I'm good for. It's why you hired me. Any demon good at making a buck is welcome in Lust or Greed, but here? Demons like us ain't cut out for this. - Ghostfuckers flashback
And Blitzo's response?:
(Long paragraph of encouragment I won't copy all of... The point is, if we can't make it here then- then no one deserves to, right?
Blitzo saved them all from their lowest point and showed them their worth, that they deserve as much respect as anyone else.
And Striker, for all his fucking posturing, is working FOR a Goetia. So you have this guy, who thinks he's some class hero, better than other imps, but is stuck working for royalty. And along swings Blitzo, who is his own boss, and is just as strong if not stronger than him. Blitzo is EVERYTHING Striker wishes he was.
So then we come to Mastermind. Given the chance, Striker fucks over his own race/class in favour of royalty who probably offered a bribe. Blitzo, even to the very end, speaks of imps as a whole being mistreated.
No fucking wonder he became a class hero.
Striker has his "values" so long as they serve him directly, if he can get to the top of the food chain he'll make no effort to dismantle it or help bring anyone else up.
#striker#blitzo#helluva boss#stolas#stolitz#blitzø#helluva boss blitz#moxxie#helluva millie#mastermind#helluva boss imps#i could write a whole essay on how blitzo makes himself treat everyone like an equal#he doesnt think hes unworthy of stolas because hes an imp#he thinks hes unworthy for being blitz#yes of course he still has internalized impphobia#Girl challenged the sin of gluttony to a drinking contest and WON

Chekhovs Blessed Gun
So how many angelic weapons does IMP have right now?
Striker dropped the blessed rifle in Harvest Moon festival and he also left the rope tied around stolas when moxxie and millie find him.
Also Blitzo might have grabbed that amulet in Weeaboo-boo
These are for sure coming back, I could see as early as Sinsmas, them using something against Andy, or I could see them holding off till later.
What I think (hope) might happen though - I think an imp is going to kill a goetia or a sin, and that will be what fully sets off the imp revolution. I hope it's a sin, because that would be truly turning hell on it's head if an imp manages to kill a sin.
I could see it being blitz doing the kill, but here's my wild card option, what if Fizz kills Mammon in self defence? What...happens then? If imps see a sin die from a quick shot to the head by an untrained shooter?
Anyways, I've been thinking a lot about the very literal Chekhov's gun that they've set up, Strikers gonna have to learn to not leave a bunch of angelic weapons around lol.
