I finally finished an animation I had been working on since last october with Lith as a protagonist! It's an experimental thingy that incorporates her curse but was just a big excuse to try and animate different things I wanted to try to animate, like bubbles!

Lith fiddled with a pack of cards she had found on the set of shelves that she shared with Jacob, as Christmas music played softly in another room.

She recognised them as the pack that Jacob had carried with him over the summer, before he travelled to Britain for school.

Leaving her behind.

That had been months ago.

She pulled a card at random.

The Queen of Hearts. She pulled another one. King of Clubs. Another. Ten of Spades. Eight of Diamonds. Seven of Hearts. Five of Diamonds. Two of Hearts. Five of Clubs. Five of Hearts. King of Spades.

“Playing Solitaire, Pip?” came the amused voice of Jacob, as he set down his bag. Startled, she dropped the card she’d been holding, the Three of Hearts.

Vaultober Day 17: Future

Future! Lith is never able to completely get rid of her infamous reputation, and when she becomes an independent cursebreaker she only gets the shadiest jobs. Oh well, she has to eat somehow anyway.

Vaultober Day 14: Curse

This day's prompt was perfect for them! Both Lith and Jacob were born with a rare curse that a dark wizard casted on their family centuries ago, which splits their soul into two and shares it with an animal "companion".

The catch? Much like with the Maledictus, they are doomed to one day become permanently one with that companion because of the everlasting battle between the two bodies to get the other half of the soul. They also feel whatever the other is feeling, so they are more vulnerable to harm.

Vaultober Day 11: Animagus

For those who don't know, I have a little ongoing hc that Jae becomes an animagus to be able to accompany Chiara during full moons. And his hc animagus form is a weasel because they are adorable. So I drew Chiara and Jae in his animagus form being cute together :3
