Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.
I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.
Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

Severus would defo pull up scary faces at a baby in a grocery store, and the baby would either ball it's poor lil eyes out, or it would start laughing hysterically from how silly his face looks to the baby.
Severus is the kind of person who literally has no fucking clue what to do with a baby, nor how the hell to act when he's around one. I mean, he feels super uncomfortable with kids in general, and especially with the ones who can’t even talk yet, those are situations he’d rather avoid at all costs. And if someone hands him a kid to hold, he has no idea how to even manage that. I don’t see him making faces on purpose, I see him just putting on his usual shitty expression or, at most, forcing a half-smile that ends up looking like disgust even though he doesn’t actually feel disgust. It’s just that he’s the absolute king of being socially awkward when it comes to little kids.

Snape was smarter than James and Sirius
I saw a TikTok in which the op was mentioning how the Mauraders were smarter than Severus, and I can't help but come out here and say that that's a load of bollocks.
Their argument was them becoming Animagus while underage, as well as the creation of the Mauraders map. Along with McGonagall mentioning how they were the smartest of their year.
Now, don't scroll yet, this is where I want to object.
Turning into an Animagus is a ministry observed action. And while turning in itself without supervision and in school years is an amazing feat, it's clear that it's a manual followed process.
Rita too was an unregistered Animagus, let's not forget. And the Mauraders map?
Let's take the magical logic that was established in the books. Charmed objects are created/charmed by a wizard, by already existing spells and putting multiple spells at once.
Hermione did something similar with the DA signing form.
What does this mean? The Mauraders map is a mixture of spells and charms, maped out with the help of invisibility cloak and 4 students who explored at night.
Smart right? So what makes Snape smarter?
Snape was a creator.
He created his own spells, now would you call that smarter than putting multiple spells in a piece of paper?
Severus altered his potions book, improving already existing recipes, which were made by professional potioneers and published. He had a basic and in depth knowledge of potions, far beyond his age.
A teacher only notices students who are active participants in class, and given James and Sirius's personality (we can see in Snape's worst memories that James actively tries to engage the audience in Severus's humiliation), it isn't far off to assume that they were actively answering in class to impress others, compared to Severus, who is shown to have a much more reclusive and secretive personality. So to any teacher, this would obviously create an image that James and Sirius were just smarter than the rest of the students.
So for a fandom that loves reading in between the lines, some people sure do love ignoring things that don't benefit their favs.

Grandpa Lucius absolutely dotes on Scorpius, and tries to spoil him every chance he gets! Poor Draco tries to reel his father in but gives up time and time again because Lucius is really great with Scorpius otherwise and is a great grandpa. <3
Yesss! I think Lucius was an incredibly doting father in his own way. He spoiled Draco rotten, and why not? He had the means to, why deprive his beloved son and heir? Draco could have whatever he wanted, but Lucius still taught him how to behave the only way he knew how (questionably at best). He supported him on the quidditch team, which people often attribute to Lucius being flashy (buying the team all new brooms) but if that were the case, why would he practise at home with Draco (Draco mentions at some point how ridiculous his father said it would be if he doesn’t make the team, we see Draco fly excellently at their first ever flying lesson), goes to watch him at his matches, and the team getting new brooms could easily have been to bribe them into having him on the team, yes, but could equally have been a thank you/celebration for them accepting him as their new seeker.
I digress. The point is, Lucius loved his son and he wanted children (I hc that he and Narcissa struggled to conceive, otherwise there would have been more little Malfoys. Every time Draco asked for a little brother or sister so he wouldn’t be so lonely, it killed Lucius just a little bit more because it was the one thing he couldn’t give him). So, grandchildren? Yes please!
Lucius would be one of those delightful grandparents who never stops buying new toys, always has pockets full of sweets to share, and little Scorpius would cry because he wants to stay with grandpa instead of going back home every time they visit.
Lucius as a dad: 9/10 (taking 1 off for his questionable methods of parenting and forcing Draco into the… shall we call it, Malfoy lifestyle)
Lucius as a grandparent: 100/10 (so extra we couldn’t stay within the allotted 10 possible points)

A lot of people criticize Snape for being interested in the Dark Arts, but nowhere in the books does it explain anything about what the Dark Arts are. It honestly seems to be a catchall term for magic that I disapprove of being used by someone who I disapprove of, and it is never explained why Snape being interested in them is bad.
What I love is that supposedly the Dark Arts are terrible… but when, exactly? Harry’s interested in them too and apparently no one cares much. Throughout the story both sides use supposedly dark spells and if “the good guys” use them, it’s no big deal. In the end it’s a super vague concept because both students and Ministry people use dark magic and it doesn’t seem to affect them much. It’s not like in other sagas where the consequences or damage caused by that type of magic are made very clear, here you’re just supposed to believe it because they tell you so.
Honestly, the whole “Severus was obsessed with the Dark Arts” thing sounds a bit like when you have a mate in school who starts dealing drugs and gets into trouble. Like yeah, it’s sketchy, but it’s not that scandalous. It’s kind of hilarious how in that saga everyone’s ultra puritanical… except when it comes to publicly stripping people naked, apparently that’s fine. #priorities
