When the English battalion commander found out they had fought a woman, he ordered his soldiers not to touch her corpse and allowed the Irish to bury her. These heard the English Commander exclaim; "The Queen does not care for us as this woman cared for her man and her land."

The photo was chosen for Women's Day in Ireland, along with the phrase: "Don't be afraid to be associated with a strong woman." The day may come and she will be your only army."
