There's a humorous laugh at the demanded question, blue eyes closing for a second longer than necessary. He was going to hear about this for more than a day, he can already tell. And that was fair, normally he was far more careful. The hand drops the second it's swatted out and there's no fight as his shirt is pulled up to reveal the wound.

"One of them got a lucky swing s'all..."

Though what tiny humor he might find in this, it's knocked away as the blond is forced to clench his teeth together at another burst of pain. Though once it fades, this vicious smile slowly curls its way up onto his face.

"They lost their throat though so, no danger left..."

Meaning Christophe didn't need to rush with tending to the injury, at the very least.

Christophe came out from where he had been hiding now that he was certain he wouldn’t get reactively shot.  That was the thing with wounded animals—you had to be careful with them, even if that animal was a Canary.

He grimaced when he saw Gregory’s wound but figured it couldn’t be too bad if he could still sit up and speak fine.  Christophe crouched beside him and started digging for the medical supplies he’d packed with him.  Even if Gregory wasn’t in immediate danger, it would still be a motherfucking bitch of a situation if he got infected.

“What the fuck happened to you?” he demanded.  Maybe it would preserve more of Gregory’s energy if he didn’t speak, but Christophe was more concerned with keeping him conscious, and some people liked to talk in situations like these.  Plus, the cover of trees gave them room to be a little bit chattier.

“Move.”  Christophe swatted Gregory’s hand away from the wound so that he could clean and dress it, and he pulled up the other man’s shirt.  “Clumsy piece of shit,” he murmured, unfurling some gauze.

Damn, he tries to do something nice and is getting the third degree and attitude over it. A huff leaves the blond while one hand rests on his hip, the other still easily holding the soup.

"I made this, I'll have you know! I wouldn't let Mole in my kitchen to cook for any reason!"

He remembers the last time he did that. It took way too much money for the repairs.

"Why the hell would you even tie me to the bed? Shouldn't that be your's and someone else's thing?" He started to wonder why Gregory was even here and what he brought the soup for. If he recalled right, Gregory hardly ever cooked. Unless...

"I am not eating that soup if Sir I'm 'So Fucking Emo' made it!" Craig sneezes once more into his blanket and now he was shivering so he covered himself up with the blanket a bit.

Please, if that was a want then maybe the stubborn brunet would have made an attempt long before now. With a hum, he pulls his phone from his pocket and proceeds to go to his usual ticket website.

"Well, let's see what plays are running close by first."

Like hell he's going to fly all the way to the actual Broadway just to take in a single play and fly back. He would like to keep his carbon impact low, thank you.

"Should we go see a broadway then?" Obviously it's not because he wants Gregory to 'give him head'. This is totally not an excuse to ask him out on some date.

"...And no. I don't want your dick." He really just wanted to see a musical or an opera since he hasn't really gone to one in a while with someone.

It is true that he has not spoken in such an accent around Craig much, if at all. That was likely because he had still been warming up to it, unused to being vulnerable except around a small number of people in his life. But Craig has earned that, hasn't he? While the other is settled in front of the fireplace, Gregory roams about the kitchen in order to make a couple fresh cups of tea. Again a few of his cats wind around his feet like furry little ghosts, mewing and crying up at him, earning an amused look.

"No, no treats, you spoiled things... you've already had your dinner."

A nudge or two with a foot is more than enough to deter the 'starving' felines who utter an annoyed chirrup as they bound across the tile and out into the living room to take their annoyance out on their scratching posts. They would have revenge for this! Maybe all of them would lay on master at once so he could never get up! Free of the feline haunting, the blond goes back to his previous focus.

It's not long at all before he's coming back out and blinks at Craig's reaction to him, a faint smile appearing on his lips.

"I did, here."

A casual movement as he gives Craig one of the cups before moving to settle on the floor as well. Many in the town still believed him such a pompous ass that he would never do something as 'vulgar' as sit on the floor. These people do not know him at all and Gregory has learned to ignore such judgements. They don't mean anything. A slow sip of his own tea and he sighs.

"Surely it wouldn't kill the headmaster to allow this to play out a while longer," the hitwoman spoke quietly to herself. Only downside for her to let everything play out for a while longer is that she would have to be out here in the cold for a while longer with little to nothing to do.

The hitwoman rested her shotgun, now pulling out her binoculars to get a better look at her main target and the other boy. Her main target looked well and she was already familiar with his face so there wasn't too much to go from there. Meanwhile the other boy with him looked rather weak and pathetic. She couldn't get a view of his entire face however judging from his profile view, she felt as if she knew him from somewhere before or maybe she was overthinking it. As soon as the two were inside, she placed her binoculars back down. There wasn't a whole lot she could do until at least the blond man came back out, although she could use this time to clean her weapons, and that's what she did to keep herself a little busy until at least her main target came back out.

"Cuppa...?" Craig wondered in his thoughts. He's also never heard his friend speak in such a heavy accent like that before, but it didn't bother him. It only took him by a bit of surprise. Craig had no idea what this cuppa is, but he's just going to assume maybe it's a cup of tea or a cup of coffee, judging from how Gregory has put them into a sentence.

There was a couch just about in front of the fireplace, but instead Craig decided to sit himself down on the rug on the floor with the couch behind him and the fireplace in front of him. While waiting for Gregory to bring this cuppa, he tries sinking himself in with the sound of the cackling fires, also watching the wood in there burn.

Being in front of the fireplace like this was soothing for him, and it started to remind him of how he and his sister use to spend their time together like this during those cold wintery or rainy nights, or even when the powers went out and Tricia would be afraid to be by herself in the dark, though she was stubborn to admit it often times. They would share a blanket together and read stories together in front of the fireplace, sometimes also having hot cocoa or tea together and just chatted away until they were both tired. And now he shared that with Tweek.

Man he wished he was at home with Tweek now with nothing to worry so much about. He hoped Tweek was doing alright and that nobody was going after him like they are with Gregory. It was already bad enough that a dictator from a foreign country, and the president were after Tweek when they were a bit younger.

Once Craig heard the sound of footsteps as well as the sound of dishes being brought to him, he perked himself back up from burying his face onto his knees after a while.

"Oh. I-It's just you," he shivered a bit, pulling the sides of his hat down a bit for comfort, despite being in front of the fireplace. He was still feeling rather anxious and worried about the possibility of his friend being murdered after that nightmare Craig couldn't get his mind off of, and he wished that he hadn't become so fearful. Craig had to be strong for himself and his loved ones. He couldn't become a burden, yet he had already broke down in front of Gregory.

"I was in such a daze here that I almost forgot I was here. Did you bring this... cuppa thing?" Of course Craig wasn't here to have some warm beverages if that's what Gregory was bringing.
