In light of the most recent post on the masterlist, I will be dropping both of my characters(this one and Merrill) from Fates Rewritten. As a trans individual, I am sickened by the cissexism and transphobia displayed in their opinions on the issue of gender. I may continue my blogs as indie, but that is yet to be decided. Feel free to unfollow me if you do not want to interact further with me, or if you disagree with my opinions on the matter.

A small pout escaped Haru in the other’s rebuff at her friendly endeavor. She’d noticed he had been keeping a certain distance between them ever since their encounter at the garden and was left in partial perplexity. Had she done something to make him uncomfortable or unwittingly left an ill impression? Haru was quick to take back her gesture, as she saw the man grow visibly more strained from her impetuous action. "Oh, is that so? I'm sorry.." Some of the puzzlement on her face went augmented, a part its expression discoloring itself in unveiled dejection. She hadn't meant to cause him any such alarm, only to show some friendly gratitude.

She felt another slight blush tint the side of her face at the uncoordinated display she had made. Being dependent on others like this was certainly not something she liked, but somehow all but a few situations she found herself in had wound up causing it. "Ah, there was a small emblem next to my dormitory. It had two perpendicular swords diving a cerulean shield, I think? There's also a pretty grouchy old man who owns a breadshop that I pass by on my way to school. Oh, and there's a small auto shop I wave by to the family there every morning. There's this one guy too that—" Haru's words trailed off in an enlivened chatter, her eyes beginning to exude a cheery glimmer in her fervent prattle.
It had been so suddenly that Lon’qu had barely the time to react. Though he had already began to lift his arms up to prevent her from embracing him, the effort was futile. Lon’qu grunted while she kept her arms around him. What was this? This was nothing that he wanted.
“Off. Get off.”
Now more forceful, Lon’qu lifted his arms up and brushed her aside. What smile had been on his face was wiped away by Haru’s zealous act of affection.
“If I’m to take you home, let’s make things clear. No touching. Stay a good distance away… I don’t do… well with women.”
There was another pause, then a sigh. Haru was more of an airhead then he had originally thought. She truly needed someone to guide her through the city streets. Gods, would she be alright after he left?
“Yes, this is still Kairos… Do you remember any landmarks near your building? Anything that could help me figure out where you live?”
#subservientblade#yes they really are!! cries#and oh no thats fine!!#im sorry if im slow w/ replying too over the next few weeks#lon'qu: 01

It had been usual to see the man smile from what somber of an impression he had left with her in their encounter. She could say it was something quite dear and heartwarming to see, even. Haru had jumped and suddenly her arms were folded around the man, adrenalized back into lively animation. “That’s right! It’s very nice to meet you, Lon'qu!” Her voice carried itself in a wave of brimming optimism.

“Um, I don’t really.” She scratched the back of her head nervously . “Are we still even in..Kairos?” It was probably dreadfully obvious just how much Haru had lost her bearings.
Despite that the waterworks had already broke out on Haru’s face, it became flushed in a slight blush at the the man’s words. She had felt completely responsible for her impulsive actions and wanted to show her remorse, one way or another. The instant her fluctuating emotions had been sorted out, and perhaps if the opportunity arose to get to know the man better, she thought she’d tell him about the odd episode that had overcome her.
Haru was always of an honest character and often found herself rather overt in the way she wound up conversing with others. No matter what weaknesses she would demonstrate either, her strength was of an iron will and a resilient determination; Perhaps a tad stubborn, even. “ “Thank you, sir. Haru is extremely greatful, she’ll be sure to repay you in any way she can!“”

Haru had beamed in excitement, once more. Perhaps this was an opportunity which she could covertly make to become friends with the girl. "Haru was just heading back to the dormitories. Are you from Kairos? Do you happen to go to school around there?" She fervently asked the girl a series of questions in a surging wave of enthusiasm.

Haru let a smile spread on her face, as soon as she heard the other’s words. She guessed the girl must have not been as rude as she had thought, from the initial words she’d just exchanged with her. “Ah, then you won’t mind showing me around as well, will you?”

Another loud grumble had produced itself from Haru’s stomach since the last five minutes and she clutched it in a jittery fluster. One of the packets the boy had been carrying appeared to have had round-shaped rock candies mixed in from a variety of colors and flavors. Her stomach had honestly been so empty, she had been fine even with that. She popped one of the chartreuse colored confections and in an instant, had her face nauseously turned the selfsame shade. “Th-that’s sour!” She yelped as she spit it right back out, not noticing that it landed right on the boy’s face.

From a distance Haru noticed a man walking with food and sped towards him in an energetic dash. She had looked at the snacks and had even let a line of drool trail down her mouth, hungrily. “Ah, what are those? Haru’s starving!” She pointed to a packet of what appeared to be some oddly-shaped confections.

Haru hadn’t dressed up very much for the party, figuring the occasion seemed pretty casual, so she had simply arrived in her usual homewear. Her faced beamed in excitement and she had instantly lunged for the table that was to have been set with food. With a grumbling stomach, she could feel tears almost welling up in her eyes at the sight of an empty tray save for coated with a few stray crumbs around the edges. She wailed out slightly in a heartbroken breath. “It’s gone..”

Finally, it was the day of the party. Komaeda was with his best clothes (basically, his hoodie) and with a box with food and some soda—he couldn’t bring himself to actually buy alcohol, but still, he guessed that was enough for the party. So there he was, in the entrance, smiling.

Haru’s eyes blinked a few times in a puzzled expression, her stare without intention peering into the other. She then realized her rudeness and was quick to look away in an embarrassed blush that streaked across her cheeks. Her eyes shifted around nervously when she noticed the gun, panic infiltrating her thoughts in wild alarm. “U-um, how does Haru know you’re not lying? Is it alright for you to carry that?!”

「☆」 “Oh, hello. Would this happen to be yours?” Haru took a glance at the darker haired girl who seemed to have been in sound concentration over her belongings. In an instant reaction, she bent over to hand her the object while not being able to help but wonder what it was. She didn’t want to be rude in asking of course, but unfortunately the curiosity had made itself apparent on her face all the more.

There had only been a few weeks since Haru had moved into Vardos and in her fascination with the area, she had figured it an ideal weather to do some window shopping and stroll around at her leisure. Sunlight poured into the pane of a smaller thrift store, garments of all sizes and hues fitted elegantly on the models posted inside. A particular sapphire sun dress caught in an intricate light rose pattern attracted her attention, it’s length and sleeves giving only a natural length for the season. She eagerly made her way into the shop to look around further and ask the shopkeeper about the dress, when her hand had met with the other boy’s by mistake. Her face became flushed in a light pink shade at a moment’s notice, as she pulled back in an awkward jerk. “Oh, no! It’s alright. Haru was just looking around, herself.” She radiated a polite smile at the blond, hands folding together shyly.

Despite family’s wealth and high social standing, Oz has a fondness of thrift markets and pawn shops, finding the antiqueness of some items absolutely charming. That and it’s the only real time the boy is in charge of his own clothes buying seeing as though his stepmother always insists on the fact that he dresses to reflect the family. He hasn’t seen her face in over a year so he counts her personal opinion on his way of dress invalid though he has enough sense to never say that to her face.
As the blond shifts through the hangers looking for something his size he thinks about donating some of his old clothes sans the ties and the jackets because he happens to be particularly fond of those. Being half distracted like that, it’s no wonder he finds himself accidentally knocking hands with a stranger who happened to be reaching for the same item as he.
“Sorry.” Apology spoken sincerely and the boy backs up a couple of steps. “You can take a look if you want. I probably wasn’t even going to get it.”
