Ring Ring RIng....

I groaned as I reached over for my phone and put it to my ear "Whoever is calling me this early better have a good reason" I rasped

A familiar giggle ran through the phone making a sleepy smile appear on my face "Since you're letting me go first in our project. We have to go to church today, so I need you in your best church attire and I already sent you the address" she said before hanging up

I groaned loudly into my pillow before getting up "Some bull hockey" I mumbled searching through my very messy closet to find something decent

"Bingo" I said before bringing the outfit out and setting it on my bed

I walked into the bathroom and washed my face, brushed my teeth, and took a shower. I wrapped the towel around my waist as I stepped out of the shower. I brushed my hair and put on my chain and slipped on my rings. I dried the rest of myself off and made sure to hang up the towel to dry. I walked out of the bathroom and slipped on a pair of boxers along with my socks. I got dressed and sprayed myself down with some cologne. I popped a piece of gum in my mouth before grabbing my phone, wallet, and car keys. I walked out of my room and saw my mom walking out in her nurse uniform. Her eyes were wide with shock as she saw me up so early on a weekend.

"Good morning mijo, what are you doing up so early?" she asked softly as we walked down the stairs

"I have a project with someone else in my class about learning each other and I let her go first" I said making her nod

"Well I put some money on your card for lunch because I know you don't get paid until Wednesday" she said

"Thank you, is Miguel going to practice today" I asked as we walked out of the house

She shook her head as she climbed into her car "No he sprained his ankle, so your dad is gonna take care of him" she said making me nod

I unlocked my car and got in. I put in the address and made my way to the church.

"Hello" her naturally soft voice ran through my car as I parked in the church parking lot

She smiled and intertwined our hands as we walked up to the church "Now today isn't our usual church service considering it's Saturday, but what we do today is we open the doors to the homeless and we feed them" she said as we entered the church

My eyes ran over anything and everything. There were seating tables with condiments and cutlery on top of it wrapped in a napkin I guess, four tables in front with lots of pans filled to the brim with breakfast foods.

"Y/n sweetie who is this?" the beautiful woman said walking up to us with a warm smile

"Mama this is my friend from school Christopher, we have a project exploring deeper into each other lives so I'm starting off with our tradition" she said making her smile and nod

"Well it's nice to meet you, Chris, feel free to help anywhere and call me kelly" she said as she gave me a light hug

"Nice to meet you too Ms. Kelly" I said making her laugh and giving y/n a look before walking away

"Now, we need to open the doors" she said smiling up at me

A few hours later.....

"Alright, you have any questions boo?" y/n questioned as we walked around the store

"Uh what's your favorite thing your family does" I asked making her smile

"Definitely our karaoke nights or even our family dinners, because I love seeing everyone together and grow closer instead of farther apart from each other. Family is a number one for me now and later in life" she explained as I took notes

"So, let's say you lost love for your husband and you had kids. Would you get a divorce?" I surveyed

She sighed and shrugged "Honestly I don't know, my mom and dad are divorced and I stopped talking to him because he no longer made the effort to see me or my siblings...I don't want that for my kids but at the same time I don't want them to see a toxic relationship" she answered making me nod

"You're gonna make a great mom" I said making her smile over at me

"So, food is a big part of my culture and I'm gonna make you my favorite thing to eat. Fufu and egusi soup" she said smiling

"Hey, I know what that is cuz I've seen it is on TikTok" I said making her hum

"It has really great flavor and I hope you like it. Even though, if you don't it's more for me" she chuckled making me snort

"Here" she said as she gathered some fufu and soup in the same bite

I swallowed my spit and looked between her fingers and her face ""Y-you want me to eat from your fingers" I said trying to hide my flustered state

She smirked and nodded as she gripped my jaw "Eat it for me boo" she said softly while maintaining eye contact

I opened my mouth and sucked the food off her fingers. She cleaned off my chin as some of the soup dripped. I closed my eyes as the flavors overpowered my mouth. I swallowed without chewing and opened my eyes.

"Good?" she questioned before tasting it herself

I nodded and went to take some more "I'm glad you like it" she said smiling hard

I smiled and kissed her cheek "I can't wait for you to taste my food" I said before taking a drink of juice

She smiled and nodded "You just want to chill for the rest of the day?" I nodded and helped her clean up

We walked up to her room and I went to the bathroom while she looked for a movie for us to watch. I did my business and changed into a simple pair of black sweat pants and a tank top. I walked out of the bathroom and smiled at the sight of y/n under the blankets with a purple bonnet over her head. I walked over and she looked over at me and I noticed she had an oversized t-shirt on.

"You look cozy" I said making her giggle and nod

I got under the blanket and saw she was playing 'Supernatural'. I noticed her looking over at me as she kept fidgeting. I wrapped my arm around her and brought her closer to me.

"Thank you" she whispered making me smile

When she opened the door carefully her heart warmed at the sight in front of her. Christopher was cuddling her from behind with his arm protectively around her stomach with their fingers intertwined. I sighed lowly as I felt my apple watch vibrate. I made sure I didn't make a loud enough alarm to wake my girlfriend since I had to prepare her first surprise of the day. I looked over at her nude sleeping body with a smile "My god you are beautiful" I said to myself as I kissed her back

I got out of bed carefully not to wake her and walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and fluffed out my hair before heading downstairs. I adjusted my boxers as they were riding up. I grabbed the eggs, bread, pancake batter, bacon, oranges, strawberries, chocolate chips, and all the kitchen equipment I needed. I started off by cooking the pancakes and seasoning the eggs with some salt and pepper with a pinch of cayenne. I buttered the bread and toasted it on the stovetop. I plated the two chocolate chip pancakes with some cut-up strawberries and some chocolate drizzle on top. Next, I placed her fried medium-well eggs next and lastly her bacon. I took her bread and placed it on a mini plate with some jelly. I pressed the oranges made fresh orange juice and put a little sugar in it. I cleaned up all the dishes which luckily I didn't have a lot since I was cleaning as I go.

"Please don't fall...please don't fall" I mumbled as I walked up to our shared bedroom

I pushed open the door with my back and placed the tray on the nightstand and sighed "Damn I need some orange juice" I said taking a sip

I sighed softly as my sleep was interrupted by the sound of my iPhone alarm. I reached over and shut the traumatizing sound off. I lay in bed for a few more minutes before finally getting up. I opened the door to my closet and picked out a simple and comfortable outfit and laid it on my bed. I walked into my bathroom and took off my bonnet letting my hair flow out down to my lower back. I ran my hands through it a couple of times before combing it and throwing it in a high ponytail. I let out a yawn before getting started on my morning routine.

35 minutes later.......

I wrapped my body in a towel as I stepped out of the shower. The smell of rose and peach filled my bathroom. I wiped my mirror off and started on my makeup. I kept it simple by just doing foundation, my eyebrows, and applying mango gloss to my plump lips. I let my hair down and ran my hands through it a couple more times. I slid on my favorite white lace thong and the matching white lace bra before putting my outfit on over it. I slid my shoes on being careful of my nails.

"Good morning honey" I looked over and saw my mom smiling at me in her work uniform

Before I could respond the bell rang and the rest of the kids piled into the classroom "Good afternoon everyone, I hope you guys had an amazing day. I will partner you up with one other person and you both have 2 weeks to gather information about each other's life. Now I don't mean what their favorite color or kid show. I want you to explore the aspects we don't get to see. Can someone give me an example?" Mrs. Davis said looking around the room

I sighed softly as I finally exited the school. I made my way over to my bike and was about to ride off when I heard a familiar voice call out my name.
