I... think I needed a change of pace. I guess by pushing the expectation that I needed to have a new board for each cabin each week and it burned me All The Way Out. But! I'm here! with Fluttershy!! I was super into mlp:fim for a long while, and I've been rediscovering that a lil in the time I've been gone.

Cabin 5 // Ares

Ah yes, Ares.

The books made him seem so mean :((( but like, he was the patron of the Amazons (very silly cameo in HoO btw, loved it), and he got in trouble with Zeus for standing up for his daughter in a situation that was unfortunately normal for the time. He's 110% a girl's girl and gets a worse rep than Hades imo

anyways, hope you enjoyed this, and I'll have the next cabin board for y'all next week (hopefully with a few things in between lol)

Cabin 4 // Demeter

Man, this was probably the easiest of them so far lol. Genuinely, I thought of the Demeter cabin and thought cuffed overalls and dirt smeared knees, and jumped to cottagecore, which there is an abundant load of material for agere wise.

I cannot tell you hard it was to keep the adorable bunnies and wobbly fauns out of here, because while they may be adorable and totally nature themed the way I'd need them, they're also menaces when it comes to crops. All in all, Demeter is probably... not too fond of them.

I haven’t interacted with him (yet), but I got inspired by @duckciferthecg (also @altlucicg ) and made this stimboard! Lucifer as a character is so silly and sweet and the blog just highlights that to the point I giggle everytime I come across it :)))

Wow this is overdue! So sorry about that, I got Distracted (per usual), but it's here now! I think I figured out something that works for me, so this should be more consistent (for reals this time). There will be a small pause because I'm going to try and update my dni banner so it's more readable, but otherwise, we should be good!

Lil head canon I wanna squeeze in before I go on to Poseidon's Cabin:

Sometimes, new campers who're unclaimed ditch the Hermes Cabin; either because it's too crowded, or some other issue Going Down. Doesn't even have to be an unclaimed camper, it could be any of the other claimed campers who're upset with their godly parent. Anyways, I like to think that they grab some comfy stuff and hole up in Hera's cabin; and she doesn't get upset! Like! At all! (contrary to many characterizations of her in the Riordan-verse lol)

Hera's most notably the Queen of Olympus, and Wife of Zeus, and her own domain crowns her Goddess of Marriage, but she's also the Goddess of Women, and Protector of them in Childbirth. Lil tag on hc that she's teeming with motherly instincts because of this, but we simply don't get to see that in the books because of the situation, and the resulting perspective.

This is probs a lot of big words and sentences for an agere blog, but the Brain is Big Age atm :,))

Cabin 3 will probably move a lot more quickly now that I've done Hera's!! Here's to hoping!

My nerd brain took over a lil bit this one hehe

Did you know, that one of the color associations with Zeus in ancient Greece (other than blue) was purple? I can't help but wonder why :0

Otherwise, the reason I went with darker colors with this (or at least tried to... which resulted in brown instead of gold... oh well!), and avoided the white is bc I was always viewed the Greeks and Romans as Goths and Preps in the PJO-verse SO, expect to see a lot more whites and golds when I go after Camp Jupiter >:D

As the description says, my name's Jason, but you can also call me Jay!! :)) My pronouns are he/they, and I'm an sfw age regressor, regressing somewhere in the 6 area? (It's kind of hard for me to pin point lol)
