people who don’t watch supernatural will NEVER understand. you start a show when you’re in middle school thinking it was a famous show must be cool. then you learn there will be an angel. then you learn about destiel. but you haven’t finished season 1 yet. and you already ship them so much you go through the first seasons only to find out not only you ship destiel but you would also die if one of the two brothers died. then castiel makes the most breathtaking appearance ever. then you have to painfully watch them spin around each other without anything FUCKING HAPPENING DURING ALL THOSE YEARS. and you wake up one day. destiel is canon. but you will never know peace again. you are now haunted by the whole fucking show and all of the characters. you will never be the same. AND YOURE FUCKING TWENTY YEARS OLD CRYING ABOUT THAT SHOW YOU STARTED WHEN YOU WERE THIRTEEN

A little life update:

After lots of research, monitoring symptoms, and consulting with my therapist, I've come to the conclusion that I likely have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). We are on a waitlist to be screened for an official diagnosis, but in the meantime I've gotten comfortable having my alters be active on Twitter and using plural language to refer to us rather than singular pronouns.

Since we've added a lot of our Twitter mutuals on here in case Twitter shuts down, there might be posts from other alters in the system on this account rather than just me, James. If the rest of the system wants to, we might make a pinned post introducing everyone.

So, I'm part of a system. You can call us Basil and use they/them pronouns if you'd like to refer to everyone, but I'm still going by James and he/him.
