so itchio has shadowbanned any games tagged with 'nsfw', 'adult', or 'erotic' so they don't show up in searches, and several devs have reported that their r18 games have been removed from the site with no warning

you know, maybe the internet shouldn’t be controlled by payment processors and terf lobbyists. and maybe people should be more concerned about this rise of censorship on queer media.

In need of a CG/2D Artist to help with my Visual Novel.

Currently working on my own Visual Novel, all the other positions are filled but I'm looking for someone to do a few CG's for me. This position will be free (as I don't have the money, and I plan on releasing the VN for free anyways).

SYNPOSIS:

A robot that has lost it memories stands outside a gate, beyond it is a bridge that leads over a small river. On the other side is a large field surrounded by a fence. And beyond that field, far of in the distance, is a hill. On that hill is a giant tree.

When the robot arrives at that tree it finds that fairies have made its branches their home. But they're not alone! A couple of them have taken on a couple of human children to look after.

After staying there for a few days, the robot attempts to leave, feeling like it doesn't belong there. When one of the fairies catches up to it she shows them that there is an industrial area somewhere nearby. She believes this is where the robot may have come from.

What transpires from there is something none of them are prepared for. And it could mean the end of the fairy folk, and the island they once called home and had protected them for so long!

Day 16: If you went to wonderland, what would your wish be? Do you think you'd eventually be corrupted?

To know what it feels like to be loved....or to know what it feels like to be wanted/needed and not always an after thought/forgotten about.

Yeeeeah, I could definitely see myself getting corrupted by Wonderland.

Day 17: Have you ever created any OW characters in another game?

Not yet....but if I get back into games like Stardew Valley or Terraria it might give me enough of a reason to create one of them!

Day 18: Do you have a favourite OW ship?

GENZOU/IGGY ALL THE WAY BABBBBY!!!!!!

Day 19: Has OW, or its characters, made any kind of positive impact on your life?

It's for sure has made me rethink my past friendships and mistakes, and want to rectifie them in some way. Also made me want to reach out to my more recent friends and apologise them. But have to get over my social anxiety for that 🥲

Day 20: Draw a silly doodle!

Day 21: If you were to write a fanfic, what would you most like to write?

I may, or may not, already have some in the works (but I've got to finish all my other fics first!) But I'm thinking of sick fics or hurt/comfort ones!

Day 22: Have you had any dreams based on OW?

Potentially....and I'm not telling!

Day 23: What is your favourite scene in the entire game?

I'm just going to name one for each arc, because there's so many good ones!

Arc 1: The end scene with Buck. It really sets the tone for the rest of the game!

Arc 2: Genzou and Iggy comforting each other after fighting Gidget!

Arc 3: The scene in Orlam's apartment.

Arc 4: The dance scene!

Arc 5 (I'm going to cheat here a list more than one!): The scene between Orlam and Genzou in the castle, the slowdance between Iggy and Orlam, the entirety of Iggy/Genzou's route, the final wish scene, and telling Bucks to come home!

Day 24: If you could ad a new CG anywhere in the game, where would you add it?

End of neutral route, all of them (now as adults) recreating the prom photo. That or Bucks pulling them all into a big hug!

Day 25: Are there any parts in the game you don't like to replay?

Any of the SA scenes.....

Day 26: It's Iggy's Birthday!!

If he's ok with it then I'd give him a hug. And that's it's ok to still be figuring stuff out well into your 30's! (Still doing that myself!) And also wish him a fantastic Birthday!

Day 27: Is there a song you associate with OW?

I've made an entire playlist for this exact reason!

Day 28: If you could add a new arc, what so you think would be the most interesting?

Would love to see more of Bucks, as we didn't get to see much of her. Maybe see more of the struggle's she had to face becoming a mother, and the dreams she had to sacrifice.

Day 29: Is there anything about OW or it's characters you're still curious/wander about?

Probably Hunar as we never really got to know him, other than the bbq scene, the initial call at the beginning of each arc, and of course the scene with him at the beginning of Arc 5. Would love to see more of his relationship with the friend group, and with Bucks herself!

Day 30: Create something OW related!

Does cosplay count...? Because that's another thing I did.

I'm going ahead and taking part in this. But I'll just be doing all of them in two big post because I know I'll forget to do these every day 😅 Also BIGGGGG spoilers for OW, so read at your own risk!!!!

Day 1: When did you first play OW and how did you find it?

I first played Our Cinderella! The reason I got introduced to it was because it was in the Palestine Relief Bundle over on itch.io last year.

Day 2: Who is your favourite character, or who do you relate to the most?

I can't choose between Iggy, Orlam and Genzou as my fav 😅But I definitely relate to Iggy the most! I've always struggled to to express my feelings, or just finding the right words in general. Also being the people pleaser in the group, looking back I can see I was the Iggy out of all the friends. All because I wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Which might've meant that others got left out, or I let some snide remarks slide, or even pushing any of my own needs and happiness to the side.

Day 3: What was the biggest surprise/unexpected moment/ twist for you playing OW?

It, of course, has to be Iggy's final wish and making his own choice in the end. ALSO CECIL IN THE END asfdaagve

Day 4: What's your favourite CG's from the game?

(I just love the lighting in this one!!)

Day 5: Have you made any OW fanwork?

YES! I literary just finished one! (you can see my post from before this one!)

Day 6: Which OW side game is your favourite?

I've only played 2 of them (so my opinion may change) but my favourite one would have to be OFW!

Day 7: Do you have any personal OW AU's?

Honestly haven't delved too much in any AU"s....so I don't really know how to answer this one. And mostly my mind is drawing a blank 😔

Day 8: Are there any scenes in OW that made you cry?

While the entire game hurt my heart, and feelings, there were only a handful of times when I actually cried. Genzou's death in Arc 4, the entire start of Arc 5, the scene after fighting Bucks in Arc 5, Iggy's choice, finding Saydie in the tree, and Genzou/Iggy's route in Arc 5!

Day 9: What are some of your favourite tracks from the OST?

Day 10: If you had unlimited resources, what type of OW side game would you create?

Probably something like a beach episode, or just anything wholesome after the horrors they went through in the main game. AND each one of them gets a big ol' hug (there has to be at least one group hug scene!)

Day 11: Do you have anything you've brought because it reminded you of OW?

Not yet, but the way that this game has had me in a chokehold I probably will! Because I can't stop thinking about it 😩

Day 12: Do you have any personal OW headcannons?

One where Genzou and Orlam made peace with each other when Genzou was able to finally accept himself for who he is, and not feel bad about being gay! (mostly cause I hate seeing Orlam getting bullied/hurt so much....the poor man needs a break!)

Day 13: Do you have any favourite lines from the game?

I'm going to say every single line, because the whole thing was writen beautifully! (and not because I can't think of a single line!)

Day 14: How many times have you played the game?

I've only played through it once! Although I did get all the different endings/epilogue's because I can't get enough of this game😭

Day 15: Have you played the Alpha version of the remaster?

Not yet, but I plan to once it fully comes out (because I like to make myself suffer)!

Made an edit of a game that I'm currently obsessed with! If you haven't played it yet you totally should (and maybe before watching this as it does contain spoilers)

Now don't mind me as I go back into my corner to cry out all the feelings this game gave me!!!
