sebastian: truth of the matter is, i only stayed on the team to be a support to rachel. sebastian: she showed me her true colors today, so i really don't care what happens to the team. win or lose. sebastian: i only cared if it won when i was on it, because i don't like losing. sebastian: if i never speak about glee again i'd be more than fine, it's really no skin off my back.

mason: you don't have to after you trained the algorithm. mason: well if your rooting works they'll get knocked out at sectionals mason: lucky you.

sebastian: i do not go looking for it mason. sebastian: no exactly, why would you ever need 3700 rolls of paper towels and 860 tubes of toothpaste. sebastian: i hate being optimistic, i'm actively rooting against them. sebastian: oh i have diplomatic immunity for the rest of the year.

mason: not sure our friendship needed me knowing that you look to get aroused on tiktok. mason: it's them justifying their own personal supermarket with 'we donate' for me... like... if you gave it to the shelter why are you standing in front of your own personal costco? mason: i like to be optimistic. the petty side of me would love to watch them continue to flounder and wonder why people aren't entertained. mason: don't mention it. i know they're your friends and all but i hope their administration gives you like a cool sash or something for all your work.

sebastian: depends. is the video funny? because if it's just selling me something i hate it. if i laughed or got turned on, i might be okay with it. sebastian: like get shaking your ass before you sell me something sebastian: extreme couponers are wild to me. sure you saved 75 cents on a can of creamed corn that will sit in your pantry until the end of days, but you lost hours of your time, and my time isn't worthless. sebastian: i highly doubt it. they were already doing horrible before we all got there, my guess is they'll continue running this ship into the ground. sebastian: i appreciate it.

mason: what, do you make of promos masquerading as tiktoks? mason: i don't see the appeal personally, they're one step above the extreme couponing people. i think it's more enjoyment on an asmr level. mason: i would agree that it's usually better to remove yourself from toxic situations before you allow them to do any further harm. who knows, maybe with the exodus the remaining singers will get it together and do something impressive for once. mason: i don't think you have to worry about anyone making that accusation about the campaign you organized.

sebastian: as long as you haven't come across my stuff yet, i'm satisfied. sebastian: restocking tiktok seems excessive. and i'm saying that as someone who's never hurt for money. sebastian: though my step mom is basically the archetype for those videos. sebastian: yeah i think it would be a good space. i really am trying to do things differently this year, and glee club is turning out to be incredibly toxic because of the leadership and i don't want to revert back to old ways. if they think they can do it on their own, i'm more than willing to let them try. sebastian: i just need a creative outlet, this could be a good one. sebastian: i'm not one to half-ass anything.

mason: i haven't. i've been stuck on restocking tiktok for months now... mason: a brief detour into cleaning tiktok, but i was very concerned for all the people making mustard gas in their toilets... mason: but that would cool, and a popular idea. if nd isn't going to be a serious show choir i think a lot of people would like a place where they could still sing stress free. mason: i've noticed the full tracy flick you and your candidates have going on. it's impressive.

now that we have student elections pretty much locked in, it's time to talk about something much more important - me. namely the fact that it's my birthday today, and i'm inviting you all to my birthday party this weekend, it's at my place, it'll be catered, the hot tub will be open - and the heated pool, and i'm getting a dj so we can dance all night, and of course karaoke. feel free to drop by or stay the whole night, everyone is welcome.

as a side note, i've officially taken my leave from the new directions, but i plan to work with a couple people to start up a recreational music group, likely a community thing since some people are a little territorial about music groups around here. it's open to anyone who can carry a tune, and non-competitive, if that seems like something you'd be into, let me know.

sebastian: i do listen to you. i listened to you all summer after he broke you and humiliated you. god forbid i want to protect my friend from that happening to her again, i guess that makes me a bad friend. sebastian: rich of you to act like i only pay attention to hunter, you've not spoken to anyone since jesse came back, rachel. sebastian: i would never be disappointed in you for that. sebastian: hunter is my friend, and the implication of something else is frankly insulting coming from you.

Rachel: Yes, I've read your campaign notes. Believe it or not, I am not as ignorant to what you're doing as you seem to believe I am. Rachel: You want to believe what you want to believe, Sebastian. I have learned very well this year that absolutely no one pays attention to any narrative except their own. So, I'm sorry, but I am voting for Blaine. Rachel: Who, by the way, *is* one of my close friends. Which you would know, if you bothered to pay attention to anyone except for Hunter. Rachel: I hope you two are very happy together, but since I already know you'll be disappointed when I get back with Jesse anyways, maybe it's better we cut ties here. sebastian: okay rachel, you're the world's best listener that's why people are constantly asking you to stop and listen. sebastian: IT MATTERS TO ME. just like glee club matters to you. it is serious to me. but like i said, it doesn't matter to you so you don't care that it matters to anyone else. sebastian: and hunter has plans to make REAL change for kids that come after us, so it does matter. he running to help those with learning disadvantages and those who experience horrific bullying everyday. he's trying to get inclusive meals for those who have religious & other dietary restrictions doesn't matter to YOU someone who can't eat half the cafeteria meals based on your dietary restrictions? okay fine, sure. sebastian: you constantly defend jesse. and the guy committed assault on you.

Rachel: I do listen. Probably far more than any of the rest of you, actually. But every time I speak *my* opinion, I get yelled at, or demeaned, or questioned. Rachel: I have tried letting you all do what you want. Taking a step back, to let others have the spotlight, to showcase the talent in the room. I wasn't dedicated enough, didn't care enough when I went that route. Rachel: So I tried going back to my more natural tendencies to take charge. To offer to help, to run Saturday boot camp for anyone who wanted to come. Then I was a bitch who insulted everyone and didn't give them credit for what they were worth. Rachel: If you all want to run the glee club so badly, fine. Do it. I truly give up. There is no winning anymore and I am not wasting my entire senior year fighting with everyone. Rachel: This is *student council elections*, Sebastian. It is not that serious. He is not running for state legislature. He is running to help pick a theme at prom and maybe help get school lunches a little healthier. I know he's your best friend, but I wouldn't even defend Jesse this much if he snapped and had what was literally a bitch fit about my leadership skills, and he's practically my boyfriend.

sebastian: fine rachel. we won't argue. sebastian: don't act like it's not a personal slight. you and blaine haven't hung out all semester, you're not best friends. i thought we were close, but apparently not as close as you and blaine, so i'll let you get back to campaigning. sebastian: ever think the reason people don't listen to you, is because you don't listen to anyone? people have opinions, people have talent, but you can't see past yourself to see that, and eventually people get fed up with hitting a brick wall every time they have a suggestion.

Rachel: I don't want to argue, Sebastian. Rachel: I'm sorry you're taking this as a personal slight. This has nothing to do with you, and all I've done is slap up a few posters and flyers around the school and say I'm supporting him. Rachel: In case you haven't noticed, most people - *including* Hunter - don't listen to me or my opinions. So my backing of Blaine will probably only help him.

sebastian: i'm thinking of quitting glee. what if we started a new club? not a competitive show choir, just a singing club. i could work with student council to get us performances at school events. sebastian: it would still give people the chance to perform without ever having to listen to the wonderkins talk about how amazing they are despite never winning anything at every given second? @masespace

sebastian: and yet i've sit by for weeks and let jesse run the glee club into the ground, because you trust him, because i was trying to support you. sebastian: as always this is never a two way street with you. sebastian: why? because he disagreed with the way you're running the glee club? newsflash rachel, your way isn't working, they still suck, even with all the talent in the world sitting in that room, you still haven't figured out how to get it together. he's right. sebastian: of course hunter is going to win. he has a better platform in every regard.

Rachel: And there's a very large chance that Hunter will still win. But he and I do not get along, I do not agree with the way he acts, and I don't want to support him. Rachel: If it was just about supporting you, I would do so without question. But while they may not have much power, quite frankly, I don't think Hunter should have any.
