i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.

Hmm... The world is so fast-paced I sometimes feel as if the value of self-reflection and self-evaluation were forgotten. It's moving on from one thing to the next, without even a moment to catch a breath. You have to be better. You have to do better. You do not have any time to spare.

... Except taking your time may be the best answer. Allowing your mind to relax, to further process an idea, to evaluate what you've done and to pinpoint the weak and strong points of your project can make it better.

Running in circles surely is fast, however, walking forward a step at a time is more efficient in terms of progressing onwards. Ripening and learning take time and there's no helping that... So why rush?
