Have an OC of mine I will be using for a Danganronpa inspired killing game rpg! Made this with picrew, so credits go to the creator (you can see the tag in the picture lmao).

If by chance someone who will participate in the rpg sees this post, don't read any further as this contains spoilers about him that I would like to keep to myself for now. I see you 🗞

My boye my boye my boye

TW: blood, especially blood, murder and addiction (?)

His name is Kai Lebedev (meaning: sea and swan), funeral director, and suffering from clinical vampirism. The crime he committed to end up in the killing game? Murder, with the motive of getting blood to satisfy his awful addiction. Sneaky bastard, bigtime idiot, but dangerous and shouldn't be trusted unless you somehow get along with him well. Despite his blood addiction driving him to dark depths, he has a hard time hurting those he holds close by his heart.

Kai grew up as the child from two traditional butchers, and due to him helping his parents often, he got quickly desensitized to the sight of guts and blood. Somewhere during his teens, he got a strange fascination with the blood exactly and decided to have a taste from it when he was alone and cleaning the tools of his parents. That's when his blood addiction began, and he quickly became a sanguinarian. Kai had easy access to animal blood and drank it often. His parents found out when he was about 14 years old and send him off to live with his uncle. Kai's uncle was a funeral director and the "if you want to live here, you gotta help out with stuff" kind of person and Kai willingly started out helping him. Everything went quite well, and Kai ended up becoming a funeral director as well, a quite skilled one even. As for how he got blood, he ordered it online. First he sticked to legal sites that sold animal blood, but soon enough his morbid curiosity attracted him to the darker sides of the internet where he started ordering actual human blood from illegal sites. Kai also drained blood sometimes from the bodies that got brought in the morgue, keeping some blood for himself and sometimes even selling it. He became part of a big human blood dealing circle and the police eventually found out and arrested him.

Some lil facts about his past that I didn't include above because I don't wanna make the essay too long:

Now there is a killing game waiting for his ass, we'll see how it goes...

- He's a massive simp. Had multiple girlfriends already who didn't know about his life as a serial killer, but did know about his love for blood since that's hard to ignore.

- Those girls never stayed with him as they weren't really the types for an open relationship. Kai's hoping to someday find the love of his life, though.

- Though I couldn't show because of picrew not having the option, Kai's hairbun is held together by a scalpel he also uses for making incisions in the veins of his victims (he washes it though, so don't worry)

- Ever since Kai was arrested, they wouldn't let him go cold turkey with his addiction. After all, there is a lack of research on blood addictions and clinical vampirism so nobody knows how bad the withdrawal symptoms could get. He has been getting a one every two days table spoon of pig's blood, and is planning to keep doing that as he wants to work on getting his addiction under control. Let's see how this will work out in a killing game...

- He's awfully scared of needles, small rooms, getting buried alive, dentists and withdrawal symptoms

- Kai has studied to become a priest at first, but it didn't really interest him in the end. He still has faith though, it helps him through hard days.

- Related to the fact above, he had more interest in playing the organ than being a priest, so instead he gave that up and became an organist for his local church as a hobby.

- Absolutely loves piercings and body modifications. Even if he's scared of needles.

I tried to make him a character that gives one double feelings about him, hope I did well ~

Went to Eden with a friend, rode a manta to the Orbit and had some precious Orbit moments with said friend. Sky really makes me realize how precious friends are

I'm very proud to announce that I'm officially having an Omori brainrot as well now. So yeah, expect a soup of Sky, Omori and Okegom content on this blog. If you don't know Omori, I suggest you check it out because that game is amazing. It deals with heavy themes like depression and su/c/de though, so if you're sensitive to those themes, I would suggest watching some cute cat videos instead.

Some angsty Orbit headcanons of mine ~

TW: I cried while imagining this stuff so if you're not in for a good sob, I would recommend looking at some cute cat/dog/horse/whatever pictures instead of reading this ~

- You know how your Sky kid flies through several places before it ends up in the Orbit, right? Well, since people say that life flashes before your eyes when you die, I like to imagine that's what happens while they are flying. The things you pass are recognizable: the butterflies, the staircase, the snow, the mantas, the jellyfish, some buildings... but then all of those things slowly become less and less the closer you get to the Orbit. I like to imagine this is the Sky kid letting go of life, accepting the fact they're dead and moving on. Saying farewell to everything they once knew. Later on this also includes their friends.

- This second headcanon of mine is more inspired by the rebirth part. Sky Kids lose their memories of their past life once they get reborn. When they end up back on their Home Island, they're confused as to how they came there, but something deep inside them knows exactly what their goal is. They forgot the memories they made with friends, but when they see a friend they automatically feel a connection with them that gives them the courage to make new memories with them. They can experience every moment and discover secrets again like those never happened before. They also forgot the pain they went through in Eden, so they're not afraid to face that place again. Only to die and complete the cycle again and again and again...
