I've been trying so hard to break out of art block lately. It just feels like every time I sit down to draw all the motivation just leaves me immediately. Do you guys have any tips for breaking it? Sorry for the lack of art over the past few months, been having a really rough time in my life, and usually art helps me forget about it, but it just hasn't been working.

Another Deltarune theory (Spoilers for Chapters 3 and 4)

I believe Kris will lose their hand at some point. A few pieces of evidence lead to this idea, and this idea leads to a bigger theory I have. In my last post, I mentioned the secret gumball machine, where if you enter 1225 into the prize machine in chapter 3, you're sent to a room with a small gumball machine that dispenses a "small, black triangle" which I assume to be Dess's guitar pick. The end of that scene has the guitar pick slip through your hand and then this

In Chapter 1, in the light world, if you use the Glass, which is the light version of the shadow crystal while you're not with Susie (theres different dialogue if you are), it says

Now in Chapter 4, after you seal the first fountain and go into the churches back room, after listening to susies story at the piano, you can pick "I'll never play again," this happens.

Kris takes a hard bite out of their hand to stop you from making them say that. To me, this is foreshadowing something happening to Kris's hand. In the standard peaceful route, I think Kris may lose their hand in a fight, perhaps with The Knight, but the more interesting idea I think is what could happen on the weird route. I think we the player may have to force Kris to cut off their hand(s) to prevent them from ripping us out. This leads into my other theory about the Prophecy mural of Susie. Isn't it weird how she has a sword and the soul? I think when Kris loses their hand, Susie will take up Kris's sword. Kris might even full on die or be otherwise incapacitated to the point they cant fight anymore. Maybe that's why she has the soul? If Kris dies, you would have to take control of a character to keep playing the game. I don't think Susie would let you control them like you do Kris, but I think she would listen to what you want her to do (most of the time.)

DELTARUNE CHAPTER 3 AND BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 4 SPOILERS!!! (Theory Post)

So, at the beginning of chapter 4, we see a part of one of the bunker codes. We see 122 and then are cut off. Since its the Holidays, I think its safe to assume this code is 1225, as in 12/25 for Christmas. If this code is a a number relating to Dess, maybe the other two codes are too. We know one code is from the Holiday's one is from the police, and one is from the church. I think that the police code is likely to be whatever hometowns code for a missing person is (something like 1065.) The church's code could be another date, possibly the date of Dess's baptism/christening/whatever their religions version of this act is. (credit to a friend in my discord for the code theory) With a lot of signs pointing towards Asgore having a large role in the next chapter, namely him talking about "We're almost there, aren't we old friend. This time for sure... Tori will Finally see what really happened; That I just wanted to protect everyone" if you catch him in what appears to be Carol's bedroom as the soul. He also notably mentions having a "black shard" and how beautiful it is, implying he has a Shadow Crystal, or perhaps a shard of the Knights sword.

Asgore appears to be investigating Dess's disappearance. When you interact with the side door on his shop it says you can see a cork board with red string all over it, just like the one you see in the Mike room, which says "you don't like looking at this" when interacted with. Perhaps Asgore's investigation is what caused his divorce? Or perhaps he was who got blamed for it since he was at one point chief of police? I think the police code could be found among his belongings.

Back to the 1225 code, in chapter 3 if at the gumball machine, you try to spend exactly 1225 points, you get taken to a bizarre room where Dess's theme plays. Its a short maze but there aren't actually walls so you can just walk into the void. at the end of the maze is a gumball machine that dispenses a "small, black triangle" which I think is safe to assume is Dess's guitar pick.

The part about it falling through your hand is super interesting. The knight you fight at the end of chapter 3 has holes in there hand. You know who else has holes in their hand? The FUCKING mystery man/Gaster sprite from Undertale. The theory I have is that Dess is the knight, which I think everyone kind of knows now after chapter 3. However, I think Dess is somehow being corrupted or controlled by Carol, and maybe Gaster but there isn't enough to go on there.

I don't really know what any of this could mean, but I wanted to put it out there. Please add onto this if you have any more ideas.
