my friend just told me that there's a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you've turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.
i literally love tumblr

I need some input: i’m kind of struggling with the whole scanning thing and i would like to ask what looks good. I used glass in the first one and no glass in the second. The first one is edited more and the second i just removed anything except for the page. The first ones colors are off since i had to get rid of my reflection.

I read through all of your nysm au today (love your art) and I'm left wondering something: Has Stanley ever told the Narrator about the escape pod ending? Have they tried actually visiting it together so it doesn't break?
(So glad u enjoyed the AU!) After many tries to make it work on his own, Stanley did eventually tell the Narrator about the escape pod ending. Sadly a lot of factors get in the way of actually trying it out together.
The Escape door doesn’t seem to open until the Narrator is trapped in the boss’s office, where he can’t access the previous rooms. And between memories resetting & the Narrator’s overall stubbornness & fear, Stanley’s just about given up on the option.
But a lot has changed. The both of them have. Maybe, this time, things could be different? 👀 Stanley would REALLY have to plead his case, though.

Does anyone else have that thing where you have no idea what you're supposed to be doing, or what the end result of something is supposed to look like, and when you ask somebody for guidelines they just go "you can do it any way you want, you can't go wrong! :)" and you just keep repeating "I don't think you understand, I have no idea what this is supposed to look like, can you give me some sort of limits or clues of how it should be?" and they keep assuming that you're asking for reassurances, when you're very clearly asking for instructions, and you mean what you say.
And eventually you just have to shrug and accept that this is a "show, don't tell" sort of a situation. You can't verbally explain that there's a difference between feeling like you don't know what you're doing, and knowing that you don't know what you're doing, so you have to demonstrate. And then they rush in going "Oh no, not like that! That's completely wrong! Like this, like this!" and finally start giving you instructions of how to do it right.
Like I'm sorry ma'am, I know you told me that there's no way to do this wrong. It wasn't my intention to prove you wrong out of spite. I'm sorry that I almost broke your machine and killed us all, but you did not believe me when I told you I don't know how to do this, so I had no choice but to show you just how wrong it can be done.
