Freyja was always an odd child. She was raised the same as the other children in the grove, but there had always been something… different about her.

Freyja is 17 when she arrives at Baldur's Gate after a dream from Bhaal and some direct guidance from Sceleritas. The city is nothing like what she is used to. It's filled with so many different people and so many rules and a whole lot more complications than the wilderness. How will Freyja cope as she seeks out Sarevok and his murder cult dedicated to her father.

I do not know why the hive chose me, but it did, and I think that it always had. The song is loud and beautiful, and I am so very afraid. There is a wasps' nest in my attic.

Perhaps it can soothe my itching soul.

Aka my legs are once again really itchy because of the warmth and all the scary flies and bees and wasps are out again because of the warmth and one of them flew into my eye yesterday and I keep worrying that there's a fly on me somewhere but I'm being really brave about it trust

The cruelty of reintroducing Sam to Alice only to take him away a few seconds later

The genuine fear I started to feel when Alice was begging them to stay

The fact that Alice assumes she's dead in the other universe because it's easier to picture one of them having died than them having separated

The way Alice begged them, trying to prove she was useful so they'd come back so she could see him again (yeowch, that one hit)
