I feel like this is a silly question, but do you guys want an outfit showcase for this banner (like I did for the wedding banner) or not? 👀

secondly, I will not be responsible for the gifsets, landscape shots, or utter chaos that will come from snowvee once I get my hands on this card and this fit — I need wolfcut surfer zayne more than I need air and I said what I said. thank you for coming to my ted talk. good night. 🙂‍↕️

also, a tiny psa under the cut that isn’t necessarily important but I wanted to address nonetheless:

please remember loves, while I do make gifs and that is what snowvee is used primarily for, I will naturally also be posting a lot of lads related things which mostly entails: my thoughts on banners, asking for thoughts and opinions, ramblings of my processes, and whatever else is involved with my chaotic work as a gif maker.

I try my best to remember to tag accordingly and I use not gif content as a primary tag for rambles, but sometimes I do forget. this mostly happens in my excitement.

if you don’t want to see the random and sporadic posts on your dash, remember to filter that tag. if you see a rambling post that is not tagged as such, please let me know politely and I’ll fix it straight away. thanks, guys. 🩷

no new banner today — it’s happening tomorrow!

today is the day, my loves! not only do I believe Infold will make us go insane with the PV drop today for a possible ✨beach banner✨ with major emphasis on the 🌶️…

it’s announcement day!

originally, there was going to be a ‘sister blog’ of sorts to snowvee — a place where I would post all of my landscape shots that I have been obsessively taking since I bought my tablet (my storage is screaming, ignore it).

but given the state of my health lately, I think running an extra blog on top of this one at the moment is not an ideal situation. so what was planned to be 2 separate sources of lads goodness, will now be 1 big ball of goodness that is pixels-that-make-us-question-why-fictional-men-aren’t-real 🙂‍↕️

so what can you, a follower or lurker of snowvee, expect with this addition, you may ask? it’s easy! all of these new posts and images will be posted under a new tag: svlandscape

what is a landscape shot — for those unfamiliar/new to lads or just generally do not know: a landscape shot is achievable by means of a third party application on an android tablet (unsure of mobile usage as I have an iPhone) that force orientates the screen in landscape mode. once in that state, you take constant screenshots and you will end up with the following result:

I will express that these images I upload are under the same rules as my gifs — they are not to be reuploaded / used elsewhere! it also falls under the same bandwidth for another reason: if you need a specific shot, or you have requests for scenes for a general post, a fic header, a blog header, etc, please reach out to me via asks, DM, or discord (if you have it). I am more than willing to help where I can. 🩷

I am still working out how many images to use per post, but I have decided on an amount between 3 and 6 — dependent on the context / LI / memory. do you think differently? let me know! I’m all for catering to what you guys would like to see!

nothing is changing in regards to me uploading gifs — my only hope is that I’ll be far more regular to upload in the coming weeks/months as there is a possible fix to one of my current ailments. I will do my best to keep building a queue in the mean time of relax & quality times, idle animations, and some memories/illusio (which may be uploaded out of order given I shuffle my queue). anons and followers that have requested illusio sets, they have been capped and I am importing them! you’ll see them soon I hope. 🥹 there are still a few more changes that are happening behind the scenes and I know they will come to light soon, I've been working hella hard on them. 😉

please forgive me if this sounds rushed or harsh — I am currently between doctor appointments because my body decided to be an ass again, but I cannot and will not sit idle.

snowvee is a big platform, and as a result of being a big platform, I’m exposed to a lot of things that are typical of fandom and its etiquette (or for better words in this instance, lack of).

there is no scenario for me, as the owner of this blog, where I will allow any discourse to reach and taint what I have built with negativity.

whether it be in replies, comments, word of mouth, reblogs, asks, or messages — I will not tolerate any hate towards myself, another member of the community, the LI’s, or their voice actors in this space. you will be blocked immediately without warning or remorse.

it’s simple to understand and it’s even simpler to implement. if you have something negative to say, keep it to yourself. or better yet, delve deeper and educate yourself on the importance of keeping an open mind. hate and anger will not get you anywhere and words spat in such a manner are not to be taken lightly.

I am sick to death of seeing so many people at one another’s throats about LI’s and lately, their voice actors — who you have no business with, regardless of the intention.

just… for the love of all things good, be kind and lift one another up, not tear each other apart. 🩷
