I'm alive. Sort of. Had to put my JuleThief fic on hold. Sorry to anyone who was following it. I'll try and update it when I feel good enough to keep going. I'll post the chapters I have finished to AO3. Right now I'm dealing with a few things in my personal life. When am I not? Again. I'm sorry to those who were following the story. I did a bit of other ficlet writing. I am working on an Ash/Horizon one from Apex. Because yes angst. How else am I supposed to live my life? I'll maybe post the first chapter. Who knows? I don't ever have anyone to Beta read my horse shit anyway. Lol.

Woof. I get why they did season 4 the way they did. Having Carmen not end up with anyone was their safest route. I think it kind of sucked to do it that way. I don't think they wanted to upset the community and piss of either shipper. They also had to put a lot into a short season since season 3 was so short to begin with.

There was a lot of character growth that needed to happen in 3. And I totally get why. It helped set up season 4. I will always secretly hope that Carmen and Julia got together. I know RedCrackle shippers out there felt shafted too.

I think everyone stayed pretty true to character. The ending was super rushed, and again, I understand why. A lot to fit in, not enough time to do it. But I feel like they did the best with what they had. I do love that Zack and Ivy ended up at ACME working along side Julia and Devineux. And that Zack is Chiefs favorite. *I need to see that dynamic.* I wish they'd do a surprise season 5, or even just a short of "Where are they now?" Kind of deal. But oh well. I love the universe, and I love the characters. And that's why we have fanfiction to begin with. Haha. So, hopefully I can try and show you guys how I would tell the story.

Extraño escuchar de ti, espero que estes bien y si no lo estas, eso también está ok. A veces la vida es difícil y tenemos que levantarnos del suelo para seguir avanzando, pero hazlo a tu ritmo e incluso si necesitas, puedes disfrutar la vista del cielo desde donde estas recostado para recordarte que estás en el presente y mereces cosas buenas.

Espero que estes tomando tiempo para ti mismo, no dejes de cuidar tu salud física y mental, no es fácil ya que nadie nos enseña cómo, pero confío en ti.

I am alive. Barely. I've been working over time this last two weeks since the store manager quit and found a new job. This week was supposed to be my last week. But that didn't happen.

I hope University treats you well. It can be stressful. But I'm sure you've got this.

Today is the first full day off I've had for at least two weeks. I am so unbelievably tired. I will try and post the next couple of chapters today too. I've had so little time to write. And I just feel like I'm shit at it anyways, and that I'm not doing the characters justice or portraying them accurately. *Sigh*.

But if you guys want to keep reading it. I'll keep posting it. 💜

Important message for CS fandom

As we get closer and closer to s4, I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell u all something.

About the whole ‘shipping’ thing I just wanna say that it’s okay to headcanon that Carmen will end up with someone. Whether it’s Gray, Ivy or Julia, the choice is yours. But pls don’t let this shipping drama stop u from acknowledging the real reason Carmen Sandiego was brought to us.

The real purpose of this show is originally to teach kids about history and/or geography. Not only that, but this show represents a lot of family as well. It shows that romance is not always a number 1 priority... family is. Now I don’t know about you all but I rarely find a show that focuses on family relationships like Carmen Sandiego does. And I feel like some of the fandom completely ignores this.

Carmens main journey in this show is to defeat VILE and ACME while finding her true family with the help of her crew (who seems to be her current family at the moment) Romance isn’t even on her agenda...

Also, the CS team works hard to make this show and it just kills me to see such an important and huge part of the show just ignored by shipping drama.

So please, when the new season comes out, take the time to appreciate the family and cultural representation. For example, acknowledge the unbreakable father/daughter bond between Carmen and Shadowsan. You can continue headcanoning and hoping that Carmen will end up with someone of your choice, but pls take note of the main purpose of the show as well and not ignore it.

I'm know I've kind of hammered this point a few times. I just have a gut feelings that Red Crackle will be the end ship. Between it being shown he's on ACME's radar, and it's clear there's a lot going on that involves him in this season, and it's the final season. I just get that vibe, ya know?

Granted, they could be really good at hiding it, like they have before when it came to Julai leaving. And there is a whole season's worth of Graham/Carmen interactions to lead up to something.

Just with TSONTS it feels like they've built up the potential.

If RedCrackle is end game, I'll be happy for all those shippers. Or if no one ends up together. We've had KorrAsami, and CatAdora, and so many others. I just want my babies to be happy together. Be gay, do crimes.

Ended up going to the ER tonight. Had a really bad infection from a sore on my head that started to spread to other parts of my head and face. So... I'm on meds to clear it up, and hopefully take care of the rest of it tomorrow. Hopefully I can get rid of these sores.
