Saints, I LOVE IT.

Something that always irks me is when people create an imbalance between Kaz and Inej. What I mean by that is... Kaz is not superior to Inej, but Inej isn't superior to Kaz either. Which is something a lot of people tend to believe. Neither one is more superior to the other. On the contrary, they are equals. They have always been equals, and that is one the most beautiful aspects of their relationship.

Kaz and Inej are both severely traumatized

They are both flawed characters who make bad decisions

They both have questionable coping mechanisms

They are both closed off from other people and tend to share little to nothing personal about themselves

They are both violent and vengeful

I bet you Inej has killed as many people as Kaz

One helps the other feel less isolated

They both help each other's trauma (Inej's voice grounds Kaz when he is drowning and Kaz's ability to always "see" Inej helps her feel present)

They are both so devoted, supportive and protective of each other, but simultaneously, are also able to pick up things they do that are wrong

Kaz shedding enough blood to paint a barn red = Inej wanting to kill a whole room full of people for Kaz

They are crime partners, confidants, and best friends first and foremost

Kaz trusting Inej enough to expose 1/2 of his skin in her presence = Inej trusting Kaz enough to let him stand super close to her while her arms were exposed (chapter 26 of CK)

Kaz calling Inej an investment and joking about Inej being at the Menagerie due to bad luck = Inej being slightly insensitive about Kaz's trauma at the end of SOC (the "gloves on, fully clothed" line) and joking with him about having to limp down the stairs

But Kaz and Inej making up for these things in CK by Kaz admitting to Inej that she matters more than her skill and that he would come for her regardless, as well as selling every asset to pay off her indenture while Inej reflects on what she said to him on the boat and beginning to be more patient and considerate with him, not wanting him to immediately remove his gloves, loving him regardless of the things he's unable to do currently realizing that she struggles as well with intimacy and telling him that she would return to Ketterdam

Kaz and Inej healing together and finding happiness and love with each other

You see? They are equals. One is not better than the other. It's one of their defining qualities and also proves why Kanej is the best ship to ever exist.

Me mentioning (and crying over) "Idle Town"'s line again.

So, in "Idle Town" You have "[...] Kissing signs on the interstate" line and in "Little League" You have "[...] Now I'm going 95 on the interstate" line. Made me cry. Why? Idk.

Call it stupid, but it actually made me super emotional. In "Idle Town" there's "[...] The idle town will stay as it stays" line. Literally (and that's the only one where focusing on) that meant that nothing will change. And before he played "Holidays" for the first time (before it being officially out, I think) he said "[...] I wanted to make a song that captured that feeling of coming back home to your hometown after moving away and seeing little bits and pieces slowly change — until one day you look around and your town just isn’t your town anymore." I know the "Idle Town" line is rather metaphorical but it still hurts. And it was a song line written by a teen. It still made me cry.

I guess it also is a good moment to tell You that I am a Conehead for a while. So, if I'll post something, that can be about him.

I cried because of something stupid, but it was worth the tears

I was watching live action version of "Snowwhite" yesterday in theater and there were dwarves asking her something around "When you'll do it all, you'll come back?" And she replied that she will. And I thought of Conan's X (Twitter) post from (I think) 2018 when he tweeted that life can change, but he will never abandon the platform that raised him - Youtube. And he lied. And it made me cry so damn much. (A disclaimer: I'm still happy that he is where he is. And the whole day is good, cuz he gave us some great music today. Heleen's "obsession" (?)

As we know, Inej got released from The Menagerie, because Per Haskell put her indenture in The Dregs. After Inej was free and in The Dregs for a while, Heleen ambushed her and said that Inej will wear her silks once again. Then, The Peacock confirmed it at Ice Court when Inej and Nina pretended to be Menagerie girls and threathened The Wraith that she will hang in Menagerie silks. Why Van Houden tells Inej that she will be back at her workplace even if she got out of there legally. Like, maybe she got much money off of Inej, but... she still got kidnapped and forced to work there for a year illegally (even if in law it was legal, yet Inej was a minor). Why you want her back there so much?

We all cried at 40th chapter of "Crooked Kingdom" (I assume that all). Yet, Bardugo killed us even more.

40th chapter of "Six Of Crows" is Nina's.

Kaz asked her “Is Inej Ghafa your real name?” and in doing so was the first person to recognize her as a human in years

He recognized “she would never be his, not really” and told others who tried to claim her that “she doesn’t belong to anyone”

He took her on as a spider and named her the Wraith. He said that spiders could be squashed. That she needed a fiercer name. I wonder if his motivations in giving her this title lie elsewhere still

He brought her out of a house where she was treated like an object. A thing to be bought and sold and sold and sold and sold. They didn’t call her by her name. She was the Lynx. Viewed as a thing and referred to as an animal.

She became a spider. Perhaps in coming up with the new moniker, Kaz had decided that he would not be one to dehumanize her after the Menagerie. A wraith is still more human than a spider.

What if in "Red (Taylor's Version) are 2 "Tracks 5"?

Hear me out.

CD has 2 discs. And whole album has 30 tracks. Easy math: 30 divided by 2 equals to 15 (I'm also thinking about second "Fearless" track, but it's not important here.). So Taylor could put 15 songs at one disc and 15 at second. But no. She put 16 at first disc and 14 at second one. And "Track 5" at second disc is "Ronan". It was even put out as single in 2012. We all know it's valuable for Taylor and Maya Thompson. And I just think, that Taylor wanted to honor Ronan once again. Show him respect.
