Ness Ref Sheet

For my Citybound AU! Which is pretty much a post-game Au where all the boys live in “New Coast City” after the world reseted after the events of Mother 3. Ness lives in the city, living at his dad’s apartment. His father owns a penthouse in New Coast, and much to Ness’ dismay, as a present for his 13th birthday, his parents decided that he should live with his dad to spend more time with him, or at least until he graduates high school. Thus, Ness is in New Coast City.

+ some Ness Headcannons under the cut!

- Ness is a part of his high school baseball team

-The undergarment he wears under his iconic striped shirt is cropped due to him saying- “I don’t like how it keep riding up under my shirt”, so he and his father got it hemmed.

- He really dislikes it in the big city, but his friends are all there which makes it a lot easier for him (does not heal his homesickness sadly)

-Ness has ADHD, or is at least on the Neurodivergence Spectrum. He constantly asks Jeff and Claus tone indicators as those two are the most sarcastic out of their friend group.

-Ness is the shortest out of all his friends. (His friends being the citybound gang, which consists of himself, Paula, Jeff, Lucas and Claus, Ninten, and Loid)

-He’s also the biggest eater! The boy loves anything and everything. Which honestly- same

- He and Jeff have sleepovers often, as Ness is prone to nightmares as a trauma response of his journey, and Jeff is currently living alone in the big city, the two decided to stay over at the others’ apartments to support each other.

-Despite everything that happened to him on his journey, Ness is a very optimistic and hopeful guy. He loves his friends, and is always willing to give a helping hand to those in need, even if it’s someone who had wronged him in the past.

Lucas Sketches at different ages. I usually draw him around 15-16, but wanted to see how that differs from when he was younger to older.

Ages left to right are, 7 (beginning of game/pre-ts, w/ bonus Claus), 11 (my hc of his age end of game/post-ts), 15-16 (CityBound au canon), and 19-20 (for future references)

Little hc and comic/doodle about how Hinawa 100% taught her boys how to crochet and knit!

I like the idea especially since they used to be sheep farmers! Hinawa also used to spin their own wool/yarn, so the idea of knitting and crocheting just comes second nature to the thought haha. I also have a headcannon where Claus learns how to crochet with one hand since sometimes he needs a break from the mechanical arm.

It’s very therapeutic for the two and my Lucas actually does this at school during his free periods! (Claus mainly crochets at home however, since he feels most safe there.)

Doodles I did during pk-ghost’s drawing party, (despite my pen literally dying on me at the beginning of it) I had so much fun!! It’s always so entertaining to watch others draw, and I love being able to also draw with other people! Those live reactions and interactions are always the best hahaha

Day 3 / Sep.10 : Diner Date

I am really behind- might not finish this week- but I am going to draw and post all the prompts!

“Mother 3 - Claus, Back Sketch”

Was thinking about him today… I imagine that when he was revived after everything that has happened, Claus hasn’t properly looked at himself in the mirror. So when he finally is able to return home and take care of himself, (showering or bathing, etc) Claus is finally met with his own reflection.

[Quick Warning ⚠️ I love angst- you’ll see it a lot from me if not for my cute ship art- DO NOT BE SURPRISED, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ]

Along with his new mechanical arm, a large change to Claus was his back, wings that were built in which could fold and open, and pressed in jets hidden under the layer of synthetic skin. A jutting metallic spine, completed with bolts to staple his very human parts to hold the weight of the new wings. Truly Claus felt something much more than normal, he didn’t feel like his body was his own, in fact, knew that he was no longer Claus. Just like he was no longer the masked man, he truly felt like an awful amalgamation of the two, a mixture of who he was. A chimera of sorts.

ninten and ana are soulmates in a very non-traditional way to me. the “i can be your pretend girlfriend, so boys stop picking on you and stop being creepy towards me” friendship that lasts a lifetime. they are ride or dies and in love even if it’s not romantic
