I think Christians put entirely too much emphasis on and overthink the whole "husband as head of the household" thing. It's a reflection of practicality within a relationship rather than this complex, legalistic game of submission that it gets made into.

I'm gonna let y'all in on a secret: in a healthy Christian marriage, it is not something you think about very much. My husband greatly values my perspective and counsel, and so it never feels like he's the decision maker - we both are.

I have reached a new low on procrastinating editing chapter 8. I don't know what it is about that chapter that I just cannot focus to edit (maybe its the 93 'it's I found in a single paragraph and I don't want to deal with it, lol), but in typical fashion, instead of editing, I started writing a new chapter.

But it's not chapter 9. It's not even chapter 10.

Oh no. I just wrote 1425 words of chapter 1 of the sequel.

What am I doing. That chapter won't be released until at least the end of this year (with the rate I'm going, probably not until next year, lol). But here we are. 1425 words deep in chapter 1.

Send help. Clearly I need it, lol

people are really fucking clueless about generative ai huh? you should absolutely not be using it for any sort of fact checking no matter how convenient. it does not operate in a way that guarantees factual information. its goal is not to deliver you the truth but deliver something coherent based on a given data set which may or may not include factual information. both the idolization of ai and fearmongering of it seem lost on what it is actually capable of doing
