We wanted to tackle one of the trickiest parts of Superman mythos; and that's the entangled romance between Clark Kent, Lana Lang, Lois Lane and Superman. Often times these more mundane parts of Superman get pushed to the side, when they can give so much insight into the characters and what they're seeking from each other.

During the 90s, I was involved with the Goebel “Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection,” which brought the characters into sculpted form. Here is one of the drawings I did depicting the final shot in Marvin the Martian’s inaugural cartoon, 1948’s “Haredevil Hare.” I think I saw this one in some phase of being sculpted, but don’t know if it ever went on to be produced.

he’s fine, it works, makes him stick out in the cast

anyway, Gunther is the resident town sheriff and responsible for dealing with most the shenanigans that take place in town, however New Haven has a remarkably low crime rate just due to its small size, so most issues are property squabbles or people doing stuff without the proper licensing

he doesn’t even have contact with any larger governing bodies, he’s specifically just in charge of New Haven

also, he’s part of the witch Coven, he doesn’t like this, means he has to deal with the coven’s bullshit as well
