why do you draw so many memes?

I draw memes because they're fun and a great way for me to unwind from real life stuff (especially schoolwork). It also feels good to make people smile or laugh because of something I drew.

I still draw other more serious illustrations, but those tend to take up more time since I put a lot of care into refining the details of the artwork. I just haven't published any of the recent ones I've done either because they're commission art, part of a fest, or for school.

So I haven't had the time to really do any personal art besides the memes. They're generally a lot faster for me to finish too since I don't need to draw them in such a high quality. I hope this answer helps!

With all this AI bullshit going on with tumblr, even if there is the opt out option thing, I'm *this* close to just not post my art online anymore, especially art for fandom stuff. Really close but as disheartening as the situation makes me feel, I still wanna be able to share it with friends and other people on here and interact with fandom communities. So I'll probably still post stuff. Just gonna thoroughly run it with glaze and nightshade.

Apologies for the lateness! Been kinda away from tumblr for a few days and didn't notice the notification, but I'm here now aksjhakfh Regarding that WIP...

This one is also a scene from a fic! It's a bit of a spoiler, but it's for the end of chapter two of The Lone Wolf Dies (But the Pack Survives) by Child_OTKW. Though the wip isn't much right now, I also plan to make that whole scene into a comic, and again it'll be a while before I get to finish it.

The plants are a relief, he thinks. He makes it a point to focus on them instead as he continues his walk through the castle. He watches out for them, growing in the tenacious and stubborn way that plants do, thriving despite the cold stone they have sunk their roots in. Sometimes, he wonders if he remembers what colours the plants ought to be. He knows they shouldn’t all be in shades of red and brown, and he thinks perhaps some of them could be blue or purple, but—there are other colours, he knows this just as he knows he should know their names, but he cannot recall what they are.
