Roronoa Zoro [ISTP]

Introverted Thinking [Ti]: Zoro, while being a very skilled swordsman, is just as good a problem solver… he’s just sometimes a confusing one. His decision of using “three sword style” is an obvious example of how odd his train of thought can be, but often times it comes through in how he can find solutions in tough situations. When getting to Enies Lobby, Zoro was able to figure a way to get the train over the wall. In Dressrosa, while everyone else was so focused on getting away from the Bird Cage, he was the first one to think, “Why can’t we try to push it back?” During that time he stated that he can’t understand people who are quick to deem something “impossible” without trying. Sometimes, however, his logic quickly jumps to worst case scenario solutions, like how he didn’t hesitate to try to cut his ankles off to escape from Mr 3. Or when Usopp and him were cuffed together and he said they should cut off their hands to escape.

In the crew, Zoro evaluates problems through an objective point-of-view; he’s always there to deliver what he feels to be the hard truths in a situation. While he never jumps in to lead or tell Luffy what to do, he will give his captain honest advice, such as his skepticism over Usopp rejoining the crew during the Water 7/Enies Lobby arcs.
