No, nor was I raised Christian. I did grow up in a very Christian culture—Texas Bible Belt suburbia. Most of my friends and every adult in my life except my parents were either evangelical (Pentecostal) or Baptist.

Cowboy hats, leopard print cardigans, “bless your heart”, big sparkly cross necklaces, guns, hoop earrings, Christian rock, mega churches, ford pickup trucks, and every house in the neighborhood was painted the same shade of white and the grass was always perfectly trimmed. And when you went inside the walls had no decorations except for perhaps a single tasteful Bible verse about family and a Thomas Kinkade painting. If you’re daring, a live laugh love sign. That’s where I come from.

are you planning to do voice overs of any other panels of your comic? Because I loveee how it ads to the comic (which is amazing on its own so wow how did it get better) especially the episode with the fish crying in front of the Big Party

Honestly I mostly make those little shorts/dubs as a way to market my comic and get new readers (and it seems to be successful.) I do have fun making them, but I prefer drawing my comic to making these voiceovers.

That being said…yeah I’ll absolutely make more because I need to do a bit of marketing haha. But I’ll probably just dub segments that I think will get people’s attention out of context.

I have drawn an ant! I also saw that your favorites are parasitoid wasps, so I drew one of those guys too. I based the ant on a black garden ant and the wasp on the Tycherus parasitoid wasp

Look at them having tea like Polite and Good beings!

School of Agni: Octopoda Treasure Hoard

Thought it would be interesting to start making stories with these illustrations now. But purely based on how i arrange the world. Great thing about this filter is how I can get away with using any 3D object as a collage. things like the gold is just floor tiles with a fresnel material, and the people are just 3d scanned people normally used in ArchVis renders.

Blender is amazing, I need to push it further and see what else is possible.

I wanna make a distinction between “I would quietly seethe if you made this” and “I’ll make a big stink about it/try to get it removed if you made this.”

I am not Anne Rice. While I did make these characters, I am anti-copyright law/ pro-fanfiction and will defend your right to create whatever mermaid Homestuck girlboss vision you wish with my creatures in it. BUT I may not PERSONALLY like it….yanno?

Tbh this actually did get me thinking a lot about, like, low effort ai slop. The only time someone ever made something related to my stuff that truly bothered me was when someone called “@thedubberfrommars” put ai voices over my comics and uploaded them to YouTube shorts. In that instance, I actually did ask that guy to take it down, I did *not* quietly seethe…but maybe I shouldn’t have done that. Maybe that’s not consistent with my principals. It’s scummy that this guy just takes people’s comics for his content mill, doesn’t alter them in any way, and makes money/gets millions of views from it. But also, he did credit me (albeit, in a way that was hard to find and did not actually benefit me in any way.) I hate reaction streamers for much the same reason…they feel parasitic. But I don’t know. Maybe people should have the right to make slop? Even if I don’t like it?

Perhaps I should do a bit of reading to have a more informed opinion.

Hey - just wondering - I know that you have done readings off bits of your [amazing] comic "Broccoli soup" (I do not know how to spell and do not know if I got it right), but I was wondering if you let other people read your comic on the YouTube as well? Asking because I would like to possibly do so {but} for the entire bits and not just cool, small bits on the shorts thing that YouTube has - never without credit to the sources of course, I love it too much to not give it what needs to expand and be enjoyed.

Please, do not feel bothered to answer if you do not like, I just wanted to ask and say that I still will enjoy the story none the less - thank you for seeing this
