Eons ago, the first vampires were born. A curse from Celestia, nightwalkers born to live forever while plaguing the mortal realm. Many believe the curse to be against humanity for displeasing the gods. These vampires fed on human blood for the most satisfying nutrition. Other believe the curse was on the vampires as they must live forever by feasting on the same beings they once were. Perhaps, in the past, that was how people thought. Now days, in a modern world, Diluc knew the first was true.

Vampires hunted humans for sport.

He had been taught that at a young age after his mother was murdered by a rogue vampire. When he was old enough--though still too young in his father's opinion--Diluc joined the Hunter's Association, working as a footman. Eventually, at fourteen, he found himself leading his own squad. Throughout his time in the Association, he found himself following in his father's footsteps rising the ranks and eventually leading his own section of the Association. It isn't until his father is murdered by a clan of vampires does Diluc begin to truly hate vampires.

His studies, how he was raised, gave him compassion. Clans were more of civilized vampire organization, ones that followed the rules and laws. They had treaties with the humans from over hundreds of years ago. Peace was meant to be maintained. However, this northern tribe had come and killed not only Diluc's father, but his entire staff and burnt his home. Since then, his demeanor had stayed the same. Vampires were demons sent from Celestia to punish mortals.

When he hears of a vampire murdering another victim--this time a child--Diluc acts quickly. A quick investigation leads the murder in the territory of a old vampire line. Knowledge of the clan was known, yes. They tended to house and employ humans for the price of feeding from them while providing room and board. Theoretically, this clan shouldn't be murdering humans. However, Diluc had his suspicions, especially considering no action had been taken. Thus, Diluc found himself inflitrating the manor as a new kitchen worker.

The manor was spotless, clean, and those employed there seemed content with their roles and lives. Or, that was what Diluc saw on the surface as he received a tour of the manor by the head of staff. He was given a room to share with another man, shown the residences, where he would primarily be working, but also where certain rooms were. As they turned down a hall, the Director spoke, "This is the private sector. You will not often be called here. The Master and his closest associates reside here. Here is the only room you should ever enter."

Inside was a simple den. A fireplace was on the wall left of the door, a piano in the corner right of the fireplace. A window let in the sunlight, but heavy curtains kept the sunlight out if needed. In the middle of the room was a plush couch of victorian styles as well as two armchairs and a table. Side tables sat between the couch and armchairs, but otherwise, the room was sparse of furniture. Decorations lined the room, though. A rug sat under the couch and chairs, protecting the wood below, as well as a smaller one under the piano. Built in bookshelves were behind the couch along the wall to the right. Between the two windows was a painting of sorts and another sat above the fireplace mantle.

"This is the room where the Master and his close associates feed," the Director's words cause Diluc to stiffen. He notes the sterilized scent in the air, masking the iron Diluc was sure was in those velvet couches. "Feedings are apart of your job description. You will be required to give your blood. However, feedings are not always given by direct bitings. You can volunteer to give your blood in a more…medical way. The Master prefers for his feedings to be from the source, though, he is kind enough to ask before taking. Let's continue."

The tour concludes with his manager. Diluc is given his station as a prep cook while occasionally acting as a bartender for any events that may occur given his past as a bartender. For the most part, he prepares human meals as vampires can only consume very little human food. The next day, he would begin his position as an employee of the manor.

It wasn't long before Diluc met the Master of the manor. While on his day off, he had been exploring the vast library of the manor. Many of the books he knew were original copies made years ago. Some, were newer within the past hundred years. Some titles he recognized from his own family home. Diluc was thumbing along titles of vampirism origins when a deep voice startled Diluc. He drops the stack of books he was holding, cursing under his breath as he picks them up. Without looking, and assuming it was another servant, he speaks before he fully finishes turning, "Don't sneak up on me like that, Celestia abo-oh."

dull eyes. there was little light behind the depths of red. seemingly endless pools of blood. wherever Diluc looked, red seemed to follow him. it had been four years since he had returned. no sugar or salt could replace the iron on his tongue.

hi! my name is ray, I’m 21, and I am not new to rp. I tend to roleplay more on discord, but I am itching for some new plots and would love to extend my hand to tumblr. It’s been a while since I’ve been on this site and even in the past I used it briefly.

i tend to write more novella. I am a fanfiction author, so I tend to write in a way that my rps flow like novels. Long paragraphs, flowery language, a certain kind of quality. AUs/Canon divergent takes are my favorite. I enjoy worldbuilding and want to create these worlds to explore. Sometimes, I get stuck when writing fics so having an rp partner to explore worlds with helps the creative juices get flowing.

I am a bartender for a country club, though I work mainly on the gold course rather than the other restaurants. I am a MOD, so my response times during the early morning and mid day will vary. I tend to have the mentality of focusing on work more than my phone. I enjoy bartending, so if it comes up, I will happily give way to much info.

If you couldn't tell already, I'm autistic. Communication is important to me, but so is tone. I also enjoy a lot of niche subjects and sometimes I get caught up on them. I tend to import my hyperfixations into my rps with communication of course.

I have plans to return to college, but I am not to sure as to what yet. maybe fashion design, maybe something more. Who knows?

I am also a cosplayer! I will not post on here anything cosplay related. Maybe check out my main blog for that. However, when it comes closer to certain cons, I will get busier and find time to respond hard. No fret though, I still will respond after!
