ASTROLOGY REFRESHER
✨Because everyone forgets something once in a while
✨THE LUMINARIES* (THE SUN AND MOON) AND THE PLANETS
*a lot of astrologers refer to the sun and the moon as planets, (yes they know that they’re not actually planets) but it’s a personal preference of mine to call them luminaries
THE SUN:
Description:
The sun is the base of everything that you are. It is the part of you that you wake up with and the part of you that you retreat to when you are too tired to truly embrace and understand the other parts of you. The sun is your foundation and it is something that is built upon but is not something that you’re unable to retreat to. The sun is the simplest and the truest form of you, strip away everything else that you are and you will always be what the sun is in your natal chart at heart.
Associated with: The ego, general vitality
Rules: Leo
THE MOON:
Description:
The moon is your heart and the moon is how you feel, it’s the sadness that creeps up on all of us late at night, it is what we emotionally attach to other people and to ourselves, it is everything that we feel truly and deeply. The moon is the most private part of ourselves. In the natal chart, it’s where everything that we deem vulnerable and soft about ourselves goes.
Associated with: Emotions, the childhood, the mother/family, comfort, protection
Rules: Cancer
MERCURY:
Description:
Mercury is our thoughts and how they move, it is the clicking of typing on a keyboard, voices melting together in busy environments, and words made poignant by fresh ink on paper. Mercury is how we communicate and what we have made of our own words, it is the perception of ourselves that we choose to communicate to the world. Mercury is also the knowledge that we grasp onto, the way that we think and what we primarily use our mind for.
Associated with: The mind, thoughts, communication, how we learn
Rules: Gemini and Virgo
VENUS:
Description:
Venus is both beauty itself and everything that is considered beautiful. It is everything aesthetically pleasing, it is everything pleasant, and above all, Venus has everything to do with love. Venus is not only what makes us pleasing to the eye or what/who we find beautiful, it is also is how we love, what we do with our love, and how we are when it comes to romantic relationships. It is what we seek in a partner and what we actually need in a relationship.
Associated with: Love, beauty, aesthetics
Rules: Taurus and Libra
MARS:
Description:
Mars is a flame that cannot be extinguished, it is our passion, it is our drive, it is what makes us want to strive to become who we can be and not just who we are. And just like a flame everything that mars is associated with is almost like burning. Anger, aggression, confrontation, and passion. Mars is the more primal part of your natal chart, relying more on instinct and what you feel like you’re meant to do.
Associated with: Anger, aggression, passion, motivation, physical intimacy
Rules: Aries
JUPITER:
Jupiter is the planet of unyielding expansion, whether that’s externally or internally. It is what we have made of the world, our philosophies, and how we will expand on that throughout our lives. Jupiter is the planet of abundance and of prosperity, whether it’s good for you or not. It is the planet that will allow you to grow into the person that you want to become, someone who fits your own thoughts on life and your personal philosophies.
Associated with: Expansion, growth, philosophy, an abundance, prosperity, luck
Rules: Sagittarius
SATURN:
Saturn is the planet of discipline and of learning essential life lessons, and not always in the most desired way. Saturn is the stern teacher, the methods used to teach you may be harsh, but through hard work and dedication you will be able to achieve what you were always to meant to achieve, along with growing as a person. Many astrologers view Saturn has a more malefic planet, however, I believe that this is due to the process that Saturn puts us through rather than the end result.
Associated with: Life lessons, restrictions, the father
Rules: Capricorn
URANUS:
Uranus is the planet that pushes out the old in brings in the new, it has everything to do with societal changes and the future. It is a revolutionary and a unique planet, one that is able to encourage people to challenge traditions and to be completely unafraid to be who they are. Uranus is a generational planet, meaning that most of your generation, or at least most of your friends that are around your age, will have the same Uranus sign. Due to this we often see one mindset on change with each generation, bringing them together and unifying them in order to be able to make great change.
Associated with: Uniqueness, change, revolutions, the future
Rules: Aquarius
NEPTUNE:
Neptune is the planet of mirages and deceit. It paints a much prettier picture on the outside, one of escapism and dreaminess and everything psychedelic, but on the inside, things are much less wonderful. Neptune is not meant to be a realistic planet, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Here you’ll find your hopes, dreams, and your most intricate of fantasies; even if they’re extremely difficult or impossible to actually attain. Neptune is the siren of astrology, leading you astray to find a much uglier truth.
Associated with: Dreams, mirages, escapism, fantasies
Rules: Pisces
PLUTO:
To wrap the luminaries and the planet up, Pluto is one of the most transformative planets. (Yes, I know that Pluto is a dwarf planet, but in astrology it is referred to as a planet.) And the transformation that you must endure with this planet will not be a nice one. Pluto is all about changing a person from the ground up, which means the eventual destruction of anything that would be considered unhealthy of your life. It is quite literally like being rebirthed from the ashes of your former self, and this is the way that Pluto operates.
Associated with: Transformation, destruction, rebirth
Rules: Scorpio
✨THE HOUSES:
THE FIRST HOUSE (ASCENDANT): Your “vibe”, your presence, someone’s first impressions of you, your physical features, who you are on the outside
THE SECOND HOUSE: Who/what you value, your possessions, your finances, your self worth, what makes you feel secure

INFP "Vibe" Moodboards Pt 1: Fairy Grunge Aesthetic
I had a really cool idea which was basically to make moodboards with different aesthetics that had "INFP vibes." Disclaimer this is purely for fun and based on how I personally feel lol.
I picked fairy grunge because I feel like the fairycore aesthetic is very INFP in itself ("fairy" is also one of the INFP archetypes if you recall—it's okay if you don’t tho bc I didn’t really talk about it lmao). The grunge aspect also adds that darker, mysterious side a lot of INFPs have as well but a lot of people do tend to overlook that. So yea! All images are from Pinterest btw.

"The INFP Archetypes"
What makes INFPs different from each other? Well there are many factors. Obviously not all INFPs are the same, and other parts of typology like enneagram, ivs, and socionics do affect this. Some INFPs are also more in tune with their weaker functions (Si and Te) than others. Like the other types, INFPs also have different "archetypes" that are often seen as "general representations" of them. Obviously because mbti is so nuanced and complex, don't fret if you don't identify with any of these! They're very simplified, so not relating doesn’t mean you're not an INFP!
So now let's get into some of the most notable archetypes
1. The Dreamer
The most notable INFP archetype, one could call it "the INFP poster child." The dreamer is a pure, innocent, curious, sensitive, and idealistic INFP. The dreamer looks at the world with wide, starry-eyes, and wears their heart on their sleeve. Usually the dreamer is also very romantic poetic, and/or artistic, and they have a wild imagination. The dreamer sees the good in everyone and might often merge with/be present in tropes like the manic pixie dream girl, or the soft boy. They have a tendency to be portrayed as mysterious or misunderstood.
Examples of the dreamer: Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Amelie, Juliet (Romeo & Juliet), Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables), and Celine (Before Trilogy)
2. The Mediator
The mediator shares the same traits as the dreamer (pure, sensitive, kind-hearted, etc.) but plays a different role in the story. Typically the dreamers are protagonists, while mediators usually have secondary roles. The mediator often acts as a voice of reason, to keep the protagonist in touch with their humanity or to just listen whenever someone needs to let it all out. The mediator is typically very quirky and non-conformist. The mediator is empathetic and usually soften-spoken, but they're not afraid to stand up for others or what they believe in.
Examples of the mediator: Silvermist (Tinkerbell), Mantis (MCU), Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter), Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury (Sailor Moon), and Lucy Pevensie (Narnia)
3. The Seeker
The seeker, once again, shares the same traits as the other two but has an emphasis on curiosity and imagination. The seeker is not afraid to ponder life's deeper, more complex questions.
As said by @dragonflymage, the seeker often asks themselves questions like
Why do I exist?
Who am I really inside?
How do I fit?
Where do I belong?
They also go on to add this explanation: "A seeker, continuously looking for answers that we never may find, but that we must keep searching for anyway. "
(If you wanna read more from her post I've reblogged it on my page) While they search for these answers, the seeker oftentimes will go on a "hero's journey" in hopes of finding the answer along their quest
Examples of the seeker: Merlin (BBC), Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts/HP), Luke Skywalker (Star Wars), Edward Scissorhands, and Frodo (LOTR)
4. The Emotional Villain
As you can see this one is a complete 180 compared to the other three lol. This pattern doesn't exactly have a name, so I just made one up.
Pretty much all INFP villains I've seen are driven by their emotions. Afterall, Fi is our dominant function. The emotional villain is driven by personal reasons and experiences, they're not just evil for the sake of being evil. Typically the emotional villain is very moody, disturbed, and/or unstable. They are usually the direct opposite of their other INFP counterparts: they are selfish, ruthless, and blood-hungry.
Examples of the emotional villain: Wanda Maximoff (MCU), Joker (2019 ver), and Kylo Ren (Star Wars).
5. The Angsty Teen
Another really common portrayal of INFPs in media is the angsty teen. This archetype is pretty self explanatory, an angsty hormonal teenager. The angsty teen often struggles with social anxiety, and/other another mental illness. They also might have trust issues, be really moody, or hurting from unrequited love or some other trauma. The angsty teen often copes through artistic means, like poetry or painting.
I feel the feelings on this archetype are very divided. While a lot of people don't like having that image as a representation of their type, some argue that it's a realistic portrayal of the darker side of being an INFP. I personally feel like the angsty teen represents my inner conflicts, while the dreamer, mediator, and seeker represent my outward behavior most of the time. What are your thoughts?
Examples of the angsty teen: Shinji Ikari (Evangelion), Will Byers (Stranger Things), Cassie Ainsworth (Skins), Kou Mabuchi (Blue Spring Ride), Violet Parr (The Incredibles), Nico di Angelo (Percy Jackson), Charlie Kelmeckis (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Elio Perlman (Call Me By Your Name), Todd Anderson (Dead Poets Society), Fischl (Genshin Impact), Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice) and Cry Baby (K-12)
There's plenty more archetypes but I thought I'd just focus on these 5. Also remember that these archetypes don't represent all INFPs as a whole, they’re just like "INFPs in a nutshell."
What are your thoughts? Which archetypes do you relate to? Which one's your favorite? Which one's your least favorite?

Yeah being an introvert is aesthetic and stuff, but how about that feeling when people are talking about something you love and you want to say something so bad but you just can't
#that is social anxiety manifesting#not the fact that you are introvert#unfortunately I struggle with it as well

INFP enneagram types
Hey Charity! I was thinking about how you said that you think that the most common enneagram types for INFPs are 4, 6, and 9 (I agree). Why do INFP sixes and INFP nines mistype so often as fours?
It’s because of a misunderstanding of the frustration nature of 4. Many attachment types think they are 4s and so they write about 4s from an attachment perspective, because they don’t identify with the withdrawn-frustration nature of 4-ness. They say stuff like “I repress my intense feelings to keep the peace” (9) or how great it is to be unique and special (6). The actual 4 doesn’t like other people to be 4s (that makes them part of something), doesn’t relate to repressing their feelings at all (that’s not being authentic to my intense moods), is not “positive” because they are frustration types, and is always longing for something just out of their reach. Basically, a lot of 4 profiles are written about 6s or 9s with 4 fixes. So of course, 9s and 6s identify with them and call themselves a 4. A lot of what’s attributed to 4 is actually the traits of 9s (seeking beauty in all things, for example – 4s actually like rawness and realness instead, and that includes “ugly” things – it’s 9s who often want beauty).
How do you think enneagram types 4, 6, and 9 alter the way an INFP appears to other people?
4 INFP - it’s all about me and my feelings (good, bad, intense, etc), prolonging emotional states, stubborn refusals to conform, frustration and over-individuating (must stand out, must be seen as different, I am broken and damaged and don’t try to fix me); 4w5 is invisible and super-withdrawn and their aesthetic is often morbid; 4w3 is more flashy and extroverted and colorful and “look at me!”
6 INFP - cautious, more of a struggle with their emotions (trying to think about them while feeling them), more analytical, can seem thinker-y sometimes, strong opinions, pushing people or being loyal, but can also be a ‘team player’ who doesn’t draw much attention to themselves; when young, especially, projection, distrust, and sometimes being too self-deprecating / assuming they are “too much” or can’t do things, hate change; 6w7 is more outgoing, funny, and willing to take risks and they want more support; 6w5 is more self-reliant, withdrawn, and less inclined to move toward people
9 INFP - peaceful, often does nothing but read books to escape the world, or write stories; fluid boundaries and open-minded behaviors, but they don’t see both sides like an ENFP 9 would (they still have their feelings and that’s what matters and informs my view); passive-aggressive and stubborn if pushed, doesn’t rush into things, moves slow and gives themselves time to prepare, but pleasant; the wing makes a huge difference, 9w8s have stronger boundaries, a lot more anger, and no interest in compromising on how they feel; 9w1s are way more moralistic, hard on themselves, and perfectionists.

Also can you make a post about what each cognitive function is (but dumbed down bc I've read a lot of explanations and I still don't understand) with some examples?
MBTI CHEAT SHEET #3
note: in the bullet list i’ll be talking about the HIGH users of the mentioned function.
and i’ll talk bout heathy and unhealthy traits in the same bullet list randomly without order so don’t be offended if there’s a trait bout your dominant function that ain’t as nice, it’ll probably be just an unhealthy trait of the function.
EXTROVERTED FUNCTIONS —
each extroverted function proceeds information faster than its introverted contra-part.
for example: Fe proceeds feelings faster than Fi. Fe might feel more emotions but Fi will feel more deeply.
Fe— extroverted feeling
Fe is an extroverted judging function.
dom-Fe —> ExFJ (high user)
aux-Fe —> IxFJ (high user)
tert-Fe —> ExTP (low user)
inf-Fe —> IxTP (low user)
Fe is concerned with other people’s feelings (contrary to Fi)
Fe can be dependent on other people cuz it does a lot for others and expects em to do the same.
Fe high users are usually rly socially aware
they are empathetic and can put themselves well in other peoples shoes (that can be used for good AND bad intentions; remember just bc someone might be emphatic does not mean they’re good people)
they tend to get jealous rly easily (bc Fe compares itself to others a lot
they tend towards passive aggressive behaviour instead of expressing their anger in an open manner
Fe-high users are aware of other people’s emotions but not their own
they often want you to feel a certain way (like if you’re upset they’ll try their best to make you happy again; or they can guilt trip you)
slight inference that you better agree
CAN be fake
Fe is warm, caring and rly helpful if heathy. dependant, manipulative and passive aggressive if unhealthy
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Te— extroverted thinking
Te is an extroverted judging function.
dom-Te —> ExTJ (high user)
aux-Te —> IxTJ (high user)
tert-Te —> ExFP (low user)
inf-Te —> IxFP (low user)
Te is concerned with structure and getting things done
values external evidence over pure logic
independent and often work alcoholics
socially aware but not of other peoples feelings
suppresses emotions cuz what would you gain from expressing it?
often intimating
if you have a problem they wouldn’t try to make you feel better but to fix your problem instead
very straightforward, direct, blunt even
Te-high-users are the least type to be manipulative
they hate being manipulated
highly objective
Te detests subjectivity
Te is objective, practical and structured if heathy. mean, angry and concerned with cutting thru if unhealthy.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Se— extroverted sensing
Se is an extroverted perceiving function.

aux-Se —> ISxP (high user)
tert-Se —> ENxJ (low user)
inf-Se —> INxJ (low user)

wants to experience everything life has to offer
cant plan further into the future
physical approach

Ne is open-minded, creative, and full of new possibilities if heathy. scattered, commitment-phobic and tends towards burning bridges if unhealthy.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
INTROVERTED FUNCTIONS—
these are often not clearly visible cuz they do their work internal.
Si— introverted sensing
Si is an introverted perceiving function.
dom-Si —> ISxJ (high user)
aux-Si —> ESxJ (high user)
tert-Si —> INxP (low user)
inf-Si —> ENxP (low user)
comfortable with routine
doesn’t like change
hand-on learning
get bored of pure theories

tert-Ti —> IxFJ (low user)
inf-Ti —> ExFJ (low user)
detached, highly logical and analytical

quite and laid back (only IxTP)
have a hard time controlling their anger
not aware of their emotions nor other peoples emotions
if they feel emotions it’s often expressed thru anger
barley ever cry (they just can’t, it’s awful)
tend to run away from their pain thru fun
IxTPs aren’t rly socially aware due to inferior Fe, where ExTP are charming due to tertiary Fe.
it often seems as if they don’t care bout you (even if they do)
nihilistic
might not give a fuck cuz everthing is so meaningless
Ti can be analytical, logical and an affective ‘search machine’ for plot holes of any kind if healthy. detached, emotionally dead, isolated and nihilistic if unhealthy.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Fi- introverted feeling
Fi is an introverted judging function.

very protective of identity
“i” talking
to focused on self (it’s my fault, i fuqed this up, i ruined everything)
CAN be selfish
extreme self loathing if unhealthy

detached from sensory reality
poor at interacting with the sensory environment
they just ‘know’ things and they can’t explain it
freakin accurate hunches and epiphanies (aha moments)
they NEED (not want to, they fuqin need to, or they’ll feel sick) to narrow things down to reach ONE CERTAIN outcome (contrary to Ne)
therefore predict things in an accurate way
can be extremely paranoid
imaginary monsters
often wrapped view of reality (for the infj more)
plans EVERYTHING
big picture
