Just woke up to Michael Buble’s “No Homo Santa Baby” that song cracks me up bc he tries to make a song basically flirting with Santa not sound gay

If you’re a dude who sings “Santa, Baby” but changes all the lyrics to “Santa, buddy” and say “think of all the hotties I haven’t kissed” and you ask for “ca-ching” instead of “a ring.” I judge a little bit.

This was the musical version of “no homo!” Settle down dude. If you’re going to sing a famous flirtatious song about marrying Santa you need to embrace the gay a little. Or at least be less aggressively “we’re just bros being bros!” about it.

Even the names of the first 10 generations of mankind foretell the coming of the Messiah: Adam means “Man” Seth means “Appointed” Enosh means “Mortal” Kenan means “Sorrow” Mahalalel means “The blessed God” Jared means “Shall come down” Enoch means “Teaching” Methuselah means “His death shall bring” Lamech means “The despairing” Noah means “Comfort (or rest)” Putting this all together: “Man [is] appointed mortal sorrow; [but] the Blessed God shall come down, teaching [that] His death shall bring the despairing comfort (or rest).” I don’t think this is a coincidence.
