TF: Primus Chronicles Voice Headcanons

With chapter 2 of the first arc now out, (link under the cut), I want to share my voice claims for the characters featured in this continuity. It won't be for all of them, but I do want share what I think are the best voices for them.

It had been in progress for months. So much procrastination, lack of motivation, and college work was in the way, so it was well worth it finish the first chapter!

Primus Chronicles Fun Facts!

Carla is left-handed. Cybertronians lean more into using their right hands, so it baffles the Autobots when they find out she's dominant on her left side.

Reggie, Maggie and Bumblebee are close with each other being the younger siblings to Carla and Hot Rod. Bee will even pick them up from school in his alt mode and holoform avatar.

GI Joe is Reggie's favorite franchise and My Little Pony is Maggie's. They play important roles in the story through Reggie becoming a little stowaway to fight Cobra to the bewilderment of the irl Joes of this universe and Maggie has her own adventures in pre-show G4 Equestria by going over a magic rainbow and hanging out with the G1 inspirations for the Mane 6. (Bumblebee becomes a very confused boy when he discovers about the latter. How in the world does Maggie have access to a world of small horses?!)

Starscream and his trine take over the high school in Mesa Heights using their holoforms during season 1. Much to the dismay of the Autobots and the human allies also attending the school. Carla even butts heads with Starscream sometimes while Izzy and Thundercracker just bond over musicals in the background. Skywarp becomes the resident prankster to the student body and uses his warping power to evade the faculty. He has not been caught yet.

My redraw is complete! As you can see, I have improved since then and I am proud of it. The designs are also different from their predecessors. Carla's hasn't changed as much but her current look is certainly an improvement from her previous one.

I even managed to find a Transformers-related font for the text.

Transformuary 21 - Tragedy

A slight spoiler for Primus Chronicles here, but this is the moment Carla witnesses Optimus and Megatron's fallout through the memories given to her by the Matrix of Leadership while still held captive by the Decepticons. The moment is heavily inspired by Transformers One and allows Carla to gain a better understanding of who they used to be and how the war started. (While traumatizing her at the same time.)

Transformuary 20 - Leader

Optimus Prime and Megatron are both leaders, so why not pair them together for today's prompt. It's the least I could do.

Transformuary 18 - Fav continuity

Transformers One Orion Pax! This movie is obviously my favorite because it not only got me back into the franchise, but ended up taking a special place in my heart. Guess seeing it five times in the theaters showed just how much I loved it.

Transformuary 17 - Empurata

He's just standing there... Menacingly!!!!!

Shockwave is so creepy in so many ways. Not to mention the lore they gave him in the IDW comics is both tragic and horrific. In Primus Chronicles, some of that lore comes into play concerning his backstory, especially the whole empurata thing.

Transformuary 16 - Medic

I present to you everyone's favorite grumpy medic, Ratchet the Hatchet.

In Primus Chronicles, his personality is inspired by various other Ratchets, especially Prime and Animated. He may not be easy to get along with, but he's a good mech at spark. Plus, he found himself attached to the human kids the more time they spent in the Ark. It enough for him to research human medical procedures so he'd know what to do if they got hurt.

Transformuary 15 - OC Slot

What's better than one OC? Four OCs! (And a special appearance from a canon character.)

Here we have our main human allies besides Carla's family. Hot Rod's taking them out for a joyride and Charlie is enabling it a bit too much. Carla loves her friends, but sometimes she has to stop them from doing stupid stuff for all their sanity, especially for Chip and Izzy in the back seat.

Humans have been a part of Transformers since the franchise started and the relationships the Cybertronian characters have with them can be amazing when done right. I seek to do that with my own human characters for Primus Chronicles. I have so many ideas for them.

Transformuary 14 - Conjunx

Optimus Prime and Elita One. The couple who started it all.

In Primus Chronicles, they are already Conjunx Endura and have two teenage sons, Hot Rod and Bumblebee. Together, they can be quite the power couple. Not even Megatron wants to mess with them when they are fighting alongside each other. He knows from experience, even before the war.

Transformuary 13 - Amica

I missed yesterday's prompt because I didn't know what to do for it and ran out of time, but I think this makes up for it pretty well.

This is Hot Rod after becoming Rodimus Prime later in Primus Chronicles with his ninjabot amica, Drift. For Rodimus' design, it is inspired by MTMTE Rodimus while still retaining a few G1 features. Also, I was very happy to draw these two. They are awesome together.

(Wish I could've included Carla in this since Hot Rod also considers her an amica, but it's not that big of deal.)

Transformuary 11 - Cross Faction

Thundercracker, Izzy, and Buster! This trio counts as cross-faction for me because in Primus Chronicles, Izzy is one of the Autobots' human allies, but she and Thundercracker develop a genuine friendship. Plus, I love how they gave TC a dog and a passion for script-writing. It factors into how he became friends with Izzy too. She is an actress who helped him get out of his shell.

Transformuary 10 - Fav Decepticon

The man, the myth, the high-heeled legend, Starscream!

I just love Starscream to death. His sassy personality and scheming brilliance is the icing on the cake.

This is his fully colored design for Primus Chronicles with few design callbacks to other continuities, (especially those heels).
