The current concept of ?-shira.

I finally finished this concept, as simple as it is, I just want to show what this character's physique would be like. This is the #3 concept of my character

What's the best name?

! Just to be very clear, I used ChatGPT to show me the meanings of the kanjis. Then it's possible that it has spelling errors. Japanese, as much as it is a language that I would love to learn, is very hard for me to understand, so I used the fastest and most practical feature on my cell phone !

Jōshira 城詩鴉 (じょうしら)

or Meishira 冥司鴉 (めいしら) ?

ChatGPT gave me several kanji options (I don't know if the term is right) that are according to the personality I wanted to put on the character. ?-shira is a young adolescent who is immature in his way of thinking, but at the same time a person who cares about people who have friendly ties. Sometimes he makes immature jokes, but he has a good heart and has traumas related to his death as well. I also asked ChatGpt to give me some kanji related to the Raven, because this character is a Karasu Tengu, which are Japanese folk creatures.

And that was the result he gave me that I thought matched the most:

Jōshira

the kanjis is 城詩鴉

Means: "Raven's Poetry Fortress." That name has a more magical/poetic meaning about ravens. I don't know how to interpret very well, but I feel a magical energy when I hear this.

Meishira

the kanjis is 冥司鴉

Means: "Underworld spirit ruling the raven". This one sounds darker, it has something more to do with the post-life I think.

• In my opinion, the second option suits the current character better, the first gives me a magical vibe, while the second one gives me a dark vibe. But I think the meanings could be reformulated, not in meaning but in writing, because it was a bit strange for me. I don't know if it's possible, that's why I needed a little help from Japanese speakers to help me 😅 •

NOTE: Another thing I want to make clear and I don't know if some of you have noticed, I don't know how to speak fluent English very well. I use the translator on my keyboard or sometimes I say things I've already learned, I know how to formulate some small sentences, but I don't know how to write texts without a translator, and I just correct things that I know 😅. So I'm sorry if I wrote something graphically wrong!

My terrible creative block.

I'm trying to draw Joshira's concept art, but I'm having difficulties and anxiety to do it, I don't know when I'll finish, but I know it's difficult! I don't have a very imaginative mind to imagine things even though I like to draw and create stories. This is something that makes me anxious and prevents me from drawing and making beautiful art. What I wanted most would be not to have this eternal creative block. I'm sorry for venting on my art blog, but I felt I needed to open up here. Sorry for the delay in content, I just can't think...

This is Makalee, she is another character from the story I am developing. In my plans, she will be the protagonist of the story alongside Joshira. This character has a black and white appearance.
