no, we completely agree tbh - only 4 people have our sp: our sibling, our partner, and 2 close system friends. that's IT. I feel nervous whenever people are giving our their sp to people they barely know

am I the only person who firmly believes that Simply Plural shouldn't be treated like social media?? Most systems show their Simply Plural and give it out like it's a social media account.

I understand giving it to mutual system friends, partner systems etc, but randos? Leaking something that can help track alters and who's fronting for everyone to see? And you're giving it out to the internet.

THIS!! I am EXTREMELY source connected, but it's honestly really healthy and healing for me!! For me, I think I'd be very empty if it wasn't for my source, it gives me a lot of purpose in my life and I love it a lot. I'm still able to tell reality from my source, obviously, but I would HATE being forced to disconnect, my source is so special to me.

Source-connected fictives are fine and you don't need to disconnect from your source fully (or really at all) if you don't want to or believe it will be bad for you. Recovery is good, but recovery doesn't look the same for everyone, the same applies to fictives/alters in general.

Stop being horrible to people who want to stay connected, it helps no one to act as though they're bad for this.

journaling advice please

hey do any systems have advice on keeping a journal? we keep trying because amnesia about things like schoolwork and events is getting really bad and impacting our life and grades and we NEED to journal for communication and to take school notes (since we do remote learning w/ no live lessons, we only need to jot down important things for the assignment where you have to talk to the teacher, but we forget to do that)

we've tried journaling a few times before but always- forget or give up I guess?

This tbh !! I don't feel that (introjects especially) should be forced to change their name unless it's inherently offensive. One of our alters, for example, is an introject of Yae Miko from Genshin Impact, and she simply goes by Miko, which (as far as I know) has quite a few origins.

Overall, I don't think it's okay at all to go after anyone for a name, because they might be from that culture, have permission from somebody in the culture, have been given that name at birth, etc etc.

Yes, sometimes it's understandable, but anime introjects being forced to change?? people with names as common in the hispanic world as Lautaro, Ivan?? ALTERS NAMED JOHN??? y'all should chill out (ps; we are latino, 100%, dont come at us.)

yeah. I feel like it's understandable if the name has cultural significance (a name that has to be earned or gifted) but otherwise it seems pretty stupid. Names have many different origins and are reused around the world. Trying to gatekeep names is so fucking stupid to me.

Haha funny thing, I don't go after endos I see. Every anti-Endo thing I say stays in my blog, a simple block is easy enough to stop seeing my anti-endo posts. I do not go after any endos I see, I will only make fun of them if they decide to interact with me first.

quick suggestion: if that person starts spamming u again turn off anon midway through and see if you can catch them in the act lol- they might slip up and send the ask publicly on accident
