Here are some 3D screenshots of the carriage I created to help me with the staging. It's such a difficult "object" to visualize in space!!! Really difficult!

I could have stolen a ready-made carriage, but I like the satisfaction of creating it myself and having the freedom to customize it (do you recognize the aspects of the game world?)

Yes, I really like this very funny concept, which offers new perspectives on the story and the character's relationship. I can't wait to read the sequel if the author wants to continue this momentum.

After finishing Chapter 2 of the main series, I'm thinking of adapting one or two scenes, or at least some fanarts (I drew a Shrimp Mary).

But one thing at a time, I'm not spreading myself too thin and am focusing on finishing Chapter 2 first.

hello Since the hollow knight webcomic has been on hiatus for a while, I thought I'd show you the sketches of the next 4 boards. You should know that it's full of scribbles everywhere and that there won't be any text (so that you can discover it 100% on the day) or if you prefer to wait.

Greetings!

I wanted to inform you about the progress of my fan webtoon adapted from a hollow kinght fanfiction. The big break has been going on for a while now and unfortunately it will last a while longer. But! I'm not giving up, I reassure you. As it stands, I have 4 drafts and what blocked me so much are the train station scenes. As much as the village was simple even "abstract". Except the train station requires a minimum of perspective and I can't evaluate space and distance. I was never satisfied.

To help me, I started experimenting with 3D. Simple things at first but I got a taste for producing different elements! It's very satisfying and offers me all the angles and possibilities I need! It took me a while to understand and achieve decent things.

The only moment of rage and despair in the process is that at one point I made a bad manipulation that deleted almost 90% of my station and that saved me! TwT A big moral tackle, I almost wanted to give up. But as a famous French YouTuber from my hometown says "perseverance is a quality. Even when you're stupid"

So I almost started all over again haha I tell myself that apart from the previous experience, I've done everything better. And if I had to redo a decoration later, it wouldn't take as long to do now that I've got the hang of it (I'm self-taught)

Here are some images to give you an idea. Don't pay attention to the flashy colors. It's just there to help me distinguish the different elements.

I'm also thinking of doing a little survey. For your patience, if you'd like to see the next drafts. Even if they are ugly and without text.

hello yes, I still plan to continue chapter 2 of the comic. For the moment I am on a big break for various reasons. Personal reasons, an accident, the work and a move to plan. Depending on how my situation evolves, I will be able to get back to it soon.

Hi,

a new update that I am satisfied with its layout and very generous in size. So much so that I am forced to split this page into 3 parts on deviantard haha I thought I would have difficulties with the orange liquid but for the moment it's good.

Hello!

Finally I'm back from vacation! It feels good to have a good internet connection to post the rest. A little tired from the trip that lasted 6 hours when it was supposed to be 3h30-4h00 haha

Luckily this part was already finished and the next one half started.

Depending on how the next week goes, I'll advance the rest or else there will be a little break (I don't want that) Apart from all that, I'm pretty proud of the staging of this part!

I hope the heavy feeling and fear of insects is felt.

Some news and continuation of the fanfiction

Hi!

It's been a while since I posted anything but I'm still alive. So, this last month was trying in many ways for me. I don't know what the information is like in foreign countries but back home in France it's really not great at the moment.

This impacts my daily life and my life. There are days when I fear for my skin... (Really, I advise against coming to France, especially during the Olympic games)

In short, all that to say that I haven't been able to progress as quickly as I wanted, but I'm not giving up! If I do well, I will manage to post the sequel to Hollow Knight on 07/20/2024 regularly.

Worst case scenario, it will be in August and I'm sorry if I don't succeed.

Hi!

It took longer than I thought but I still met my minimum objective of preparing 10 sketch boards yay!

Here are some small extracts for each of the boards. I can say that some soldier insects are super difficult to achieve. Especially certain angles to accentuate their grandeur side! (notably the extract with the "hiii, he's huge!!!" I hope passable)

There was also the carcass which was also a challenge for me! I don't remember having ever seen a vehicle like this in the game so I had to try to invent a credible one in the hollow knight universe. It really felt like a school exercise haha

Mary has not yet arrived at the White Palace but she is on her way. Now I'm going to have to start finalizing the boards the boards. If I do well, everything will be around July or early August max. I could post and enjoy my family vacation with peace of mind. I'm optimistic ^^

Greeting!

Little sign of life for the sequel to “Hoops, String, and Other Placebos”! Slowly but surely I'm moving forward with the sketch boards and this week I'm enjoying it as it's quiet in terms of work and private life.

At the time I post these images, I have 5 pages including a small excerpt from each posted above. I continue to advance these sections before finalizing them. (the extracts are posted randomly but I think it's not difficult to guess the chronology haha)

I don't have a date to propose yet but I hope to have enough to post regularly for around 1 to 2 months minimum. Maybe in the summer around July, I don't want to get ahead of myself and not keep a commitment.

And at the same time, I'm continuing a fan remake/translation of a Pokemon fanfiction that I like. My priority, however, remains the hollow knight adaptation.

Mary will finally be directly confronted with the infection and I'm rather proud of the staging of certain scenes! Especially without any ideas and similar models to inspire me.

Milo from home ENG et fan remake

Milo from home is the original work of ReagentNein on deviantart and comic fury

This is a pokemon fanfiction inspired by the mystery dungeon opuses. I really appreciate his art and history which I decided to translate into my mother tongue so that it is more accessible to the French public who might be interested in it.

And also embark on the experience of making a fan remake because the beginning is very different graphically and there are also retcons. The fan remake will be separated between FR and ENG so that everyone benefits. But when I catch up with the current style of the comic, the remake fan pages will stop and I will just translate the sequel.

I warmly thank ReagentNein who authorizes me to post the translated pages as well as the fan remake. It's very rewarding to try out another artist's graphic style. And don't hesitate to see his story already progressing well and excitingly! There's no reason to miss this ;)
