they fucking went and cancelled étoile. it hasn’t even been a month since s1 came out and they’re cancelling it, after greenlighting two seasons. the cast is quite literally still doing promotional work, and they’re cancelling it. i am so sick of these big corporations giving shows no time whatsoever to generate a viewership and no chance to build on the foundations that get built in a first season. étoile is so incredibly genuine and heartfelt, giving stage to a dying art, jobs to artists in that field, it has a magnificent ensemble cast of characters that we barely got to meet.

i fucking hate this.

the fact that Jack is a little fanboy. With all of his movie references (Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones)...

I can just imagine little Jack reading The Lord of the Rings, and then being able to watch them when he is older and being all excited and coming home after a long day at work and tuning in to watch Game of Thrones to unwind... and probably trying to show LOTR to his boys and bond with them about it and Harry Potter and he is just... I wanna squeeze Jack McMillan into my soul.
