is    your    muse    tall    /    short    /    average ?

Sven is tall, for a Nord, standing at about 6′4″.

are    they    okay    with    their    height ?

it’s never been much of a concern for him- he enjoys being taller than most of his family and friends, though.

what’s    their    hair    like ?

Sven has blond hair, very fair and light in color. it has a slight natural curl and when he lets it down completely, it falls to about his mid-back. he has a lock of his brother’s hair in a tiny braid on the right side, but it’s hardly noticeable for what it is because Velfar’s hair was only slightly darker than Sven’s.

do    they    spend    a    lot    of    time    on    their    hair     /    grooming ?

not usually. most of the time it will just be held in some sort of simple hold like a ponytail, but there’s usually a few smaller nordic braids there and when the occasion is special, he’ll braid it fancy.

only to a political extent. otherwise, he could care less.

what    are    some    of    your    muse’s    bad    habits ?

Sven has a tendency to hit things when he’s angry; this very rarely means he hits people, unless they’re making a show of being aggressive to him, but it’s not uncommon that he’ll punch a doorframe or a wall hard enough to damage his hands ( he has scarring on both knuckles from this ). he also bites his fingernails sometimes when he’s nervous and he chain smokes sometimes in the modern verses.

has    your    muse    lost    anyone    close    to    them ?    how    has    it    affected    them ?

the first person Sven lost was his twin brother, Velfar. it was a very deep, painful loss considering how close the two were, and when Vel died it seemed that part of Sven died with him. he grew bitter, spiteful, angry, and all around he wasn’t the same. he doesn’t regain that peace entirely until almost two decades after the incident. he also lost his parents, but those were more of a dull ache than a stab like Vel’s death had been. he regrets having left home the way he did, as they passed in his absence, though. it will forever haunt him.

is    it    easy    for    your    muse    to    kill ?

for the most part. the only time he struggles morally with it is if it’s someone he knows, someone he cares about or loves- but he will do what he needs to do, one way or another.

what’s    it    like    when    your    muse    breaks    down ?

Sven very rarely breaks down completely, but with his repressive nature, he can’t stave it off forever. it’s usually very violent, angry, probably consists of him being very irritable about little things before he really sets off. it’s usually after months of pent-up emotion, so there are always intense bouts of rage and anger, but they’re always short-lived; Sven almost immediately descends into a depressive episode afterwards, sometimes lasting several days or even weeks depending on the severity of the situation and how much it upsets him.

is    your    muse    capable    of    trusting    someone    with    their    life ?

he’s certainly capable of it, he just doesn’t do it often. close friends and family are about as far as it goes, and sometimes even that’s a stretch. he prefers to look out for himself without relying on others.

what’s    your    muse    like    when    they’re    in    love ?

when he’s first coming to terms with it, it consists of him attempting to distance himself and destroy the bond before it begins. he’s afraid of being hurt. but once it’s something he’s come to peace with, it’s definitely noticeable; he becomes softer with not only the person in question but in general, as well as incredibly protective of said person. he also tries to be understanding and smother as many of his flaws as he can, though that doesn’t last long.

I.  I bet you kiss your knuckles before they touch my cheek.         It’s a fixed point in a rotation that is larger than anyone could imagined. The fact of the matter is crystals aren’t just crystals, not when the world is tilting and throwing everything that hurts at you. To them: you’re a stranger: an addict that has been poisoning blood for years. The countless pills that you’ve consumed, that have caused liquid fire in bones. An euphoric feeling that leaves everyone higher than they believed they could get. But here’s the thing, no one tells you that you get hooked, no one tells you it can kill you.             And here you linger in the hot aching sun. Anxiety etched into bones: bones that have seen better days. There���s no residue marks: only the bitter taste of chalk like pills most of the time on your tongue. You breathe out, you watch the sunlight above. Your’e aware that someone has followed you: you’re aware that your husband's brother can’t deal with the stress. And here you lay at runes, fingers reaching into a bag to grab a pipe to light the very crystals they’re trying to avoid. Because everything is just so tense. 

            ‘You just gonna keep fuckin staring or get high with me? It’s written all over your body that you want it. It’s not like they’re gonna know.’

It’s not a process; no, if anything, it’s a wheel. Forever turning, turning, TURNING, bringing with complete rotations new ages and experiences and everything in between. But the wheel of an addict, Sven’s wheel, never seems to change much. Always the same bullshit. Who is to BLAME for that? Himself? His brother? Everyone who has ever tempted him in this way like Seth does, right now?

It’s not the question on his mind. Frankly, he doesn’t care anymore— to know a brother as he has, to lose him, to gain him once again to find he is a DIFFERENT MAN entirely... what is he doing? He doesn’t know, he just knows that he’s tired and sick and wants to go HOME, but that’s not an option. He follows, follows, and between the beating sun on pale freckled skin and the crystals in his sights, he feels faint.

There’s a moment of HESITATION, knowing he’s about to do wrong, but once again Sven comes to the revelation that he doesn’t give a shit anymore. In a sluggish motion he sits beside him, blue eyes dull. ❝They’re gonna fuckin’ know. They’re not stupid.❞A sigh, soft. ❝Fuck it. What have I got to LOSE?❞
