I've been wanting to make a post coming to anyone who will listen with hat in hand, but I thought maybe a commissions post might go better.

I'm a disabled person fighting hard with our ridiculous system to actually get on disability. as it is, I haven't had an income for the last 20 months. I have bill collectors after me- to various utilities like electricity, water, and fees to my housing on top of rent, I owe over $1k. some are willing to put me on hardship payment plans, but not all, and the two utilities are threatening to shut off if there's not a payment very soon, like within the next day or so.

absolutely anything helps right now, I'm so stressed out and not sure what I'm going to do. I don't have family I can go to anymore, they've been paying my rent as a loan. I'm strapped. if it wasn't for foodstamps, I wouldn't be eating, and even then they don't cover a whole month because the economy is shit right now.

so please, even just reblogging this so more people see it is appreciated. thank you.

well. it's that time again.

as much as I hate to be here again, I'm in... dire straights, honestly. today we've lost the only vehicle the household had and won't have anything until maybe Sunday. which means in the meantime we're scrambling to figure out how my roommate will make it to work, we don't have a way to grocery shop- without paying extra for it and I can't use my foodstamp card if I'm not physically there- and what pennies I can make doing uber delivery driving when the roomy isn't working to pay for animal food and cat litter is dried up.

times are tight for everyone. I'm not insulted if no one can help. believe me, I get it, as much as I wish that I didn't. I still owe some people commissions from last time (which I am working on! two down, three to go!) so emergency commissions are still a thing, and I also now have a ko-fi that I set up to hopefully help too, on top of paypal. seriously, anything will help even if it's just sharing the post. I hate being here, I do. but government disability is absolutely dragging it's feet, been a year since any progress was made, but speaking to my lawyers they've told me there's nothing I can do but continue to wait.
