I am Ahmed, I live with my family of 7 in harsh conditions that are beyond our ability to bear. We live in a dilapidated tent that provides us with no protection from the harsh winter cold, and as winter approaches, we find ourselves unable to face these conditions without help.

My brother and his wife live with us, and his wife is about to give birth. In the difficult circumstances we are going through, the child will not be able to bear living in these bad conditions and will not be able to bear the bitter cold.

Our goal from this campaign is to raise money to renew the tent that shelters us, buy clothes to protect our children from the harsh cold, in addition to providing the necessary amount to enable us to escape this hell that threatens our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Every day that passes makes our situation more difficult, and we live in constant fear of losing a family member to the cold and hunger. We are trying with all our might to keep those who remain alive, and we hope to find among you someone who will extend a helping hand.

We are grateful to everyone who reads these words and chooses to be a part of saving our lives.

This is a picture that means a lot to me. I am Jihad Al-Hamaida. I am 17 years old. I am a young man whose life has been completely destroyed and torn apart. Every day I ask myself, "How long?" Isn't what has been happening to us for more than 18 months enough? I swear to you that I am fighting and wrestling with the world in order to survive. Every second I live, I fight myself and my body. Do you know that in this war, I am not alone? I am fighting for my family, whom I am trying with all my might to defend and be a support because my father was injured at the beginning of the war. My mother was pregnant. My brother's son has a disability in his body. His condition often gets worse, but I am still struggling to get us out of the Gaza Strip with the wounded. We will be accompanying my father and brother. In order to do that, we have to collect a lot of money so that we can get out now. I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.

My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.

All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.

I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies.
