I really do think that the current culture of the actual plays and live streams of D&D has made the community like stupidly intolerant of darker subjects. I don't mind lighter games at all, I've run some, but the way people act now the moment anything is darker than like an Orc saying a swear they go bananas. Who cares that they called the UNDEAD MINDLESS GIANTS an infestation, they're just bad guys. I feel like a lot of people would not be able to handle fucking WFRP or anything like that lol.
