When they gave you the card, and they told you that it was just you and not Cathy, how did you… how did you feel about that?

it’s all different (but not really?)

it almost seems like every country apart from sweden has imposed some restrictions on movement, quarantine or isolation or similar. we’re just keeping distance and think about our movements in public and many people work from home if they can (my bf is, but the office is open for those who can’t). my job can’t be done from home so i bike to work like always (but to be fair, for the last two i’ve been working nights and had days off inbetween). but people are out and about. shopping, going to parks, going for lunch. BUT there are still much fewer people out in the streets than before.

however, compared to what i read and see on the news and online, is seems like nothing. no government mandated quarantine, not only allowed out once per day or having to have special reasons for leaving my home.

i like being able to go out, i like not feeling locked in my flat, i like being able to go to town if i want to, and to meet my parents for dinner. but i’m conflicted, because what i see on the news is that people in all other places, have been told not to. and what if the swedish public health agency and its chief epidemiologist are wrong? if i’ve been following the advise of those who are supposed to know, and things still don’t go well? i don’t know, and it’s a bit scary.
