You had a little crush on Nanami, but you tried to ignore your feelings for him. You just have the feeling that he won’t ever like you back since he doesn’t seem to be the type of person to be in love and plus, this feeling will probably go away, so whats the point?

“Hey guys, Let’s go somewhere after school!”

Haibara said as he took his lunch money out of his pocket. You and your friends are about to get out of class and go to the cafeteria for lunch.

“Actually, that’s not a bad idea. Im in.” Shoko agreed.

“Hey guys, you have to do your homework first, then we can go somewhere!” Utahime scolded.

“Womp womp” said gojo and geto.

“That sounds fun! Do you wanna come Ken-“ You were cutoff by the sight of Nanami successfully sneaking out of the chaotic classroom that is filled with the shouting of Utahime’s scolding.

“Uh- uhm.. Kento wait up!” You went out to chase Nanami, no one noticing.

“Kento, how could you walk out like that? Its rude you know.” You scolded him. He looks at you with an emotionless face and sighs in frustration.

“Utahime is right, maybe we should do our homework first.” “Come on! I doubt that you want to sing, so how about you do it in the karaoke room? Its just history notes anyway.”

You tried to make Nanami reconsider but he was having none of that.

The bell rings and the teacher dismisses the class.

“Finally! Schools over. It felt like it had took 5 years of my lifespan. Now let’s go to that karaoke guys!” Gojo said to his friends, excited for the karaoke outing.

Your friends, surprisingly including Nanami, exits the school together. Everyone taking their bikes. Not knowing that Nanami will not be participating except for you. You sneak up behind Nanami who is just standing there, since he walks to school, he doesn’t have a bike.

“Boo!” You tried to scare him but to your expectations, he wasn’t scared… at all.

“Come! You can hop on my bike. Or… If you don’t want people to mistake me as your girlfriend, you can ride Haibara’s.” You chuckled at the last sentence. Nanami tried to walk away and you’ve. had. enough. You dragged Nanami by his collar to force him on your bike, not realizing you were the center of attention.

“Woa, Nanami just got dragged by a girl!” Geto teased as he hits Gojo with his elbow to make sure he’s paying attention to what he’s pointing at.

“I don’t want to-“ “you- are- going- to- come- with us!” Successfully you made him sat at your bike’s passenger seat. Not wasting anytime you hop on your bike.

“Let’s go everyone! Y/N’s the lead!” Shoko shouted out to her friends.

In about 10 minutes or so, you and the rest of your friends have finally arrived to your destination. You get off your bike and grab Nanami’s wrist, pulling him in the karaoke.

“Hello! How many people?” The worker ask. Shoko handles the registration and finally it was time to pay. You take out your wallet from your backpack, about to take out your money but then Nanami taps on your shoulder: You look back at him as you make a “what?” face.

“I’ll pay you… you don’t have to pay back. Just consider this as a thanks for… uhm… everything” Nanami explained as Geto, Gojo and Shoko snickered in the background, Haibara and Utahime looking at them with one eyebrow up.

“Wow… That’s kind of sudden, but who am i to reject that offer? Thanks so much Kento!”

After you were all done with paying for the registration and finding your room, you finally get to rest and jump on the karaoke room sofa. Gojo wasted no time and looks for a song to sing on the tablet, Geto trying to push him away from the it since he wants to go first. Utahime scolding the two of them and Shoko just watches. Haibara is still looking around the room, amazed by the design.

You and Nanami were just… sitting. It isn’t unusual for Nanami to be very quiet but it is for you. To be quite honest you are a bit exhausted from paddling you bike since… you never really paddle it with a passenger on it, not to mention it being Nanami.

“So… are you actually going to sing? To be honest when i forced you on my bike i didn’t actually expect for you to not mind.” You said to break the awkward silence between you two.

“Oh… well, I don’t really have plans anyway and im done what needs to be done for school. So why not just tag along?” Nanami explained. But in his heart, it’s actually just because he wanted to spend some time with you and his friends, but more with you. It might sound selfish but hey he’s rarely selfish himself so why not have that personality trait once in a while.

“Okay everyone, we’re done picking the song. Let’s sing!” says Shoko as she grabs a mic. Everyone doing the same and wow what a coincidence, you were just about to grab yours just to realize that all of the available mics are taken by everyone.

“Oh.. I don’t have a mic.” You said disappointedly. “Here, you can have mine, i think i won’t sing that much anyway.” Nanami lends you his mic, but you don’t take it since its not often for him to go to hangouts, and you don’t want to ruin this for him.

“No! It’s okay… I’ll just sing without a mic!”

Gojo and Geto looks at each other with a “are you thinking what im thinking” face. “Hey! I have an idea! Why don’t you two share?” Gojo suggests with a smirk.

Nanami slightly blushes. Surprisingly he doesn’t hit Gojo for that and just did what he said. You on the other hand, thanked Nanami for being able to share the mic.

“Okay, Let’s do this!” Geto said as everyone cheered.

It had been 2 hours already and you were all ready to go. Packing everything up, making sure nothing and no one is left behind, they exit the karaoke room and finally the building.

“Good grief guys! See you guys tomorrow!” Says Gojo as he starts paddling his bike, Geto following not that long after. “Yea, That was really fun!” Haibara adds.

“Are you going to send Nanami home, Y/N?” Shoko asked you. “Yea, I was the one who dragged him here. And Haibara cant send him home because…. uhm.” You look at Haibara, hoping he tells you the reason.

“Oh, my mom told me to get stuff from a nearby convenience store. It might take a while and I don’t want to keep Kento wait for me. Again, thank you do much Y/N, and sorry again Kento, see you guys!”

“Okay then, get home safe, bye!” Utahime says before hopping on Shoko’s bike.

“Well, there they go. It’s been a long day, right Kento?”

“Huh? Oh, yeah.” Nanami seemed to be thinking of something but you didn’t thought much about it.

“Let’s go. I can’t be late or else my mom will think i got kidnapped or something, Hop o-“

“Wait, I’ll paddle the bike for you.”

As Nanami says that, you stare at him with confusion.

“Why all of the sudden?”

“You were very exhausted when we arrived here, so i figured it was because you had me as your passenger.”

“Oh, no no, please ignore that i think i was extra tired because of-“

“No excuses” Nanami says before taking your bike’s handles of your hands.

“Really, I don’t make offers unless i really want to do them. You know that Y/N”

“Oh okay fine…” You give up on trying to convincing him to just let you paddle the bike. You walked up to the said bike and sat on the passenger seat.

You finally arrived home, you immediately went into your room, locking the door and jumped on your bed, sighing in exhaustion. Your social battery is low, some sleep would help.

Your phone vibrates, a notification from a group chat of your friends. You press the notification only yo be met with a picture of you and Nanami singing together.

Shoko: Look, Kento is smiling.

Utahime: Woah! Even do he’s just slightly smiling, it’s still a rare sight.

Nanami was popular with the girls, and that includes you. Except… you were actually kind of getting the vip treatment from him. He was never really interested in talking with the girls who were squealing over him. The girls were crazy over him, and you were too. But you weren’t really showing that craziness of yours because you actually know what shame is.

To get straight to the point, you were Nanami’s classmate. Sure, nothing that special. But the thing is, Nanami’s english is… a bit bad, but not horrible. And you, you could say you speak english like its your mother tongue language. So maybe thats the reason Nanami wanted you to be his outside of school english teacher. A lot of his fangirls knew this and boy you never would imagine the day you would get so many jealous looks.

But aside from that, Nanami actually sometimes ask you to hangout with him without any special occasion, he claims it to be a thanks and all but in the inside, he just wanted to spend some time with you. He himself didn’t know why he was feeling it or knew how to explain the feeling.

Days turn by weeks, weeks turn by months and months turn by years. Your feelings towards Nanami has increased and you have been his very close classmate for 3 years now, and for that 3 years you had to fight the urge to yell your feelings towards him, to express how you really felt about him. But knowing that he was already tired of his fangirls and he probably hangout with you because he thought you might be the only girl that doesn’t have a crush on him, you stopped yourself.

But today was different, today… you were going to confess. You prayed that this wouldn’t affect your friendship and if he didn’t like you back, you at least hope that he wouldn’t avoid you.

The bell rings, it was finally time for lunch. You sat up, took you wallet and went to Nanami’s desk. “Hey, Kento, we should go sit at the bench near the field. I heard no one uses it! The surrounding there must be relaxing, i’m sure you’ll like it.” You said, not realizing that you forgot to breathe while talking.

Oh no, a fangirl! You’re definitely getting side eyed. The fangirl, named (someone you dont like), caged her arms with Nanami’s. Nanami immediately backed off and told her to not touch him without consent again. Kind of like scolding, typical Kento Nanami.

“Don’t be mad!!! When we’re dating, I won’t need to ask before touching you, so you have to get used to it!!!” When she said that, you clenched your fist, wishing you could just smack down her right here and right now.

Nanami, on the other hand, made a disgusted face. The girl was used to it so she wasn’t offended. She laughed it off instead. “Oh, Kento, your so cute when you do that face! You should do it to Y/n too, didn’t she just asked you to go to that bench near the field? No one is around there, you know. Who knows if she’s planning to lay hands on you.” You clenched your fist harder, you wanted to say something but Nanami calmed you down by patting you back. Seems like he knew you were about to say the most sassiest comeback to the girl but stopped you right there to not cause a scene.

Nanami gave you a sign to run out of the door together by looking at you and then the door. You nodded slowly and counted 3 to 1 with your fingers. As it reached 1 and the girl distracted by yapping about whatever she had in mind to say to Nanami, you two immediately ran to the door, getting out of the class and ran to the cafeteria. You managed to run without getting caught by a teacher or the principal. You two tried to catch up with your breathe when you two arrived at the canteen.

“Better hurry up before she gets here.”

You and Nanami were finally at your destination, the bench near the field that didn’t get much attention because it was a bit far away from the canteen. Making the place’s surrounding being peaceful.

“It feels nice here. I hope we won’t get disturbed.”

Nanami said. Nanami was calm but you were the opposite. Well, you were collected on the outside but in the inside you were really stressing out. You guys are alone, nows the chance! Your going to confess! You can’t believe it!

“Hey… Can i tell you something?” You asked to Nanami. He nodded to reassure you that you should continue. As soon as you were about to tell him you feelings, the girl from before and her gang came out of nowhere with phones recording both you and Nanami. For some reason, you felt extremely exposed. You could be naked right now and you wouldn’t feel this exposed and embarrassed.

“Hey, look at this guys! The girl who thinks shes so better than everyone because Kento is her ‘bEsT fRiEnD’ is going to confess her feelings!” (the name of someone you hate) said out loudly, catching some people’s attention while recording the scene with her phone.

“Does she think she has a chance just because shes Kento’s friend?”

“Probably, i wouldn’t test my luck if i was her.”

When you two arrived, Nanami closed the door and tried to catch up with his breathe.

"Nanami... I-" You tried to say something, but because you were out of breathe, you could barely let any words out of your mouth. "Y/n, please sit down first. No need to rush." Nanami said as he lead you to a seat.

When you finally calmed down, Nanami reassures you to continue what you wanted to say when you were rudely interrupted by (the name of someone you hate). "I... you know what, nevermind. I will tell you tomorrow." When you said, Nanami raised one of his eyebrows. But then he thought to himself, it was probably something important and you don't have the mood to say it anymore since who knows if that girl is still watching.

"All right then. I'll wait. It doesn't have to be tomorrow, you can tell me later if you want too." Nanami tells you.

The next day comes, at you two were at the same location you were at yesterday. Except, you could confirm that no one is watching since school is over. You and Nanami often walked to home together so he was fine with you wanting to stay here for a bit. "So, what did you want to tell me yesterday? You said you'd tell me it today." Nanami breaks the silence.

"O-Oh! Right, I almost forgot about that since the breeze is so calming today... heh...But anways... i want to... tell you... that..."

Oh god, here it goes. Your going to say it! You had to wait for the right moment for three years! Without realizing, your face was heating up. You wasted no time and stood up, facing Nanami and tell him what you have always wanted to say...

"Nanami! I like you! I... I have liked you even before we became friends." ...Silence.

"I...I thought-"

"He doesn't like you back, give up!" Oh. My. GOD. IT'S THE GIRL FROM BEFORE. WHY IS SHE HERE, HOW DID SHE KNOW WE WERE HERE, AND WHY IS SHE RECORDING!!!

"And... post. Heh, have fun getting gossipped tomorrow, Y/n!" (the name of someone you hate) then runs away. You feel so embarrassed right now. You don't want to listen to what she just said but what if she's right? What did Nanami wanted to say? He thought what? He thought that i was different from other girls in this school so i wouldn't like him in a romantic way?! Just as you thought that mindset to yourself. You took your bagpack from the bench and ran away, not realizing your eyes are already tearing up. Nanami just watched the scene unfolds as he was too shocked to do anything right now.

The next day arrives, and you tried your best to ignore the stuff people are saying about the confession you made yesterday. As if your not feeling worse that Nanami probably doesn't like you back and wouldn't want to be your friend anymore. Class was just normal, and in two hours it's already lunch break. You didn't feel like eating so you planned on just staying at the field. As you tried to calm yourself down and tell yourself that it's okay if Nanami doesn't like you back, someone pushed you shoulder harshly, but it didn't make you fall down.

"What's up lonely girly? What chu doing? And where's your closeeee friendddd" (the name of someone you hate) said to you in a high pitched voice and whining at the end of her sentence to annoy you more. What did you do? You... just... well... listened to whatever she wanted to tell you. You seriously had no energy to even make a facial expression or even care about your surrounding.

"Hey." A familiar voice interrupts. It's Nanami! What was he doing here? To also bully you? When you saw Nanami walking towards you, you immediately stood up and tried to walk away. Nanami grabs your wrist to stop you. And you just let it happen. You mentally prepared yourself to hear what he wanted to say.

"Y/n... I..." Nanami says nervously. (the name of someone you hate) took out her phone before you knew it to record the scene, expecting Nanami to say he didn't like you back.

"I-I-I... I like you too!!!" Nanami shouted out, not too loud but loud enough for the surrounding to hear it, to make sure that Nanami actually felt the same way. "If this is to not make people gossip about me, you can take it back." Now, because Nanami shouted out those four words people at school are interested to hear, a few students were watching you two.

"No...I... Y/n." Nanami said as he held both of your hands to turn you around and look at him. Cupping your cheeks, wiping yours tears with his thumb. "Y/n. I never had a friend this close in my life, Not to mention a girl. I was never interested in dating this whole time but you changed my mindset. When i first met you i just felt like i always want to be close with you. I didn't understand why i felt that way and now... when you confessed... I finally understand why. I like you too, Y/n... I like you too."

Everyone who was watching the scene cheered, well, almost everyone. (the name of someone you hate) and a few of Nanami's fangirls weren't happy. You can't believe this, he actually liked you back! You pinched yourself to makek sure you weren't just dreaming and Nanami chuckled at your actions. He pulled you in a hug, and finally... he did something that made the cheering louder and something that made your face heat up, he kissed you. Not too long since he's a shy boy with romantic stuff, and your glad since you also didn't want to kiss for too long since people were watching. No words could express how you feel right now, this was truly a dream come true.

You didn’t mean to… you were just a chemist working for the jujutsu world. You made potions for faster healings or for the ones who are having trouble to summon their cursed energy.

One day, you were just mixing this and that, bored out of your mind. You didnt mean to pour what you were just making into Yuji’s water bottle… look, it just looked like one of your lab stuff! And plus, why is it even there? Did he accidentally left it?

“Hey, y/n, i left my bottle here, mind if i come in?” Yuji said from outside of your lab door. “Nope! just dont touch anything and watch your step.” Yuji opened the door and walked towards your table where his bottle was. “Thanks! see you.”

Thats how it all started. Well, couldnt you just warn him? No! You weren’t looking that time, you were busy organising some potions in my special fridge.

“Hey, y/n, we… have some trouble here. Can we come in?” Nobara shouted from outside of your lab.

“We? How many are you there? You know what just, come in, watch your step!” You shouted back, to make sure she heard you. Nobara opened the door and you were met with something not in a million years you would expect seeing.

“Uhm..” Megumi hummed in an embarrassed way. Looking at the floor to avoid making eye contact with you. He was holding… what seemed like Yuji as a baby?

“Why did you bring a baby here?! C-Cover its nose and mouth Megumi!” You warned, he immediately did what you told him.

“Y/n, its… Yuji. We found him like this when we were on our way to our dorms.. he was right infront of his dorm. We were hoping you know why this happened.” Nobara explained.

“Uh… hmm… dude im a chemist… i dont know!” You stressed out. “He did stopped by here to take his bottle, right?” Megumi asked.

“Yea… But…” Then it clicked you. “Wait, did you bring his bottle with you?” You asked, They both nodded and showed you the said bottle.

“Oh… my… god…” You took the bottle and opened it.

“I… *sigh* I accidentally used his bottle when i was mixing stuff… Thats it. This is it. Its time to say goodbye. Im definitely getting fired.” You said with the expression with no emotion.

“Can you stop playing around?” Megumi said to you. “Cant say a little joke? Okay fine.. well, all my potions are temporary and probably the one he drank too. He’ll go back to normal in 2-3 days.” You explained to them. They were shocked to hear you explanation.

“t-two to three days?! Who’s gonna take care of him?!” Nobara shouted out. “Y/n, i think your responsible for this. Its your mistake.” Megumi told you. “Hey hey who was the one who left the bottle in MY lab?” “DO YOU WANT HIM TO TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF THEN?” They both yelled.

You said, and opened the door and shooed them out, you following them out too.

“Gojo? GOJOOO” You knocked on his office. Finally, the familiar face comes out. “HELLO MY SUPER AWESOME STUDENTS!!! What are you here for? Oh I know! You want to see my super cool cursed techni-“ Megumi cuts Gojo off by explaining on what happened.

“So? What do you think? Who should be responsible? We dont even know why we came to ask you but please take this seriously.” Nobara said to Gojo. “Hmmm… You know… this bottle does look like some Y/n’s lab stuff.. but it has some stickers on it, see?” Gojo turned the bottle around and showed you the sticker that was attached to it. This is a very Yuji Itadori behaviour, putting a “I Love Boobs” sticken on his bottle.

“What?! I-I didnt see it-“ “Your responsible for him, have a good day!” Gojo closes the door, getting back to slacking off in his office, Megumi and Nobara gave you the baby Yuji and ran away to their dorms. “Ugh! *Sigh* Good thing i wont be having a demanding schedule for a week. Finally, a break! Kind of.”

You were diagnosed with anxiety, Nanami did everythng he can to try and not trigger your anxiety. But of course, he had no problem in taking care of you when your anxiety seemed to get the best of you.
