yeah what about them 🤨 /silly

but i do love talking about them because i felt so big brained making them reflect the symbol on astas headband !!

and my lore to this is he got top surgery during their stay in the heart kingdom and i feel like the heart kingdom is a little more advanced in magic that they did say the procedure wouldn’t leave a visible scar but asta didn’t want that. he wanted there to be a scar for people to see and know who he is. he wanted that as a symbol for others to see once he becomes wizard king and inspire others within the clover kingdom and beyond

Scar and Grian's relationship has never been all give or all take on either side. It's such a cycle with them.

Grian gets Scar killed (he'd do anything to make up for it, would give his sword, his life, his choice, every moment, every breath)

Scar is happy to take advantage (he's always been good at using the resources available to him, why wouldn't he use this one?)

Scar betrays Grian (he never regretted a betrayal before, never shied away from making everyone who ever trusted him pay for it)

Grian wins (grian fell from a high place)

Grian scams Scar out of a life (a life for a horse)

Scar steals, burns, makes enemies everywhere (grian blames himself)

Grian bakes cookies for someone else (scar doesn't mind)

Scar loses two of their lives (grian blames himself)

Grian loses their final life (grian blames himself. scar doesn't mind.)

Scar kidnaps Grian and gets him killed (scar can practically hear grian yelling at him)

Grian stabs Scar in the back (lesson learned, really scar should have known already. he had a blast anyways.)

Scar doesn't want to be the bad guy (grian knows. he always knows. "why don't you come with me?")

Scar wins (grian's the one to tell him he won. usually winners don't get to hear anyone's voice but their own after winning.)
