Heyo folks! Been a while, huh? I gotta say I'm sorry for the inactivity but it's been a little tough for me. A storm hit the island I live in (and to all other Filipinos in Tumblr, you probably know which storm I'm talking about) and well, we got hit bad being near it. No water, no electricity afterwards. But at least the water's here now. More or less 4 whole weeks have passed by and I've only managed to get some very weak internet connection where I'm from (gotta wake up at 3 in the morning to get it) but I can't get back to my writing rhythm just yet. It'll probably take a week, or maybe 2, or 3 but who knows. I hope y'all understand. See you guys when I see you.

For Sasharcy Week Day 2: Calamity!
This is set in my Stranded Sasharcy AU and the girls are around 17 in this, so a few years before the events of Do You Love Me Too? (If you haven't checked it out, please check it out!) I’m surprised I didn’t write angst for this day. If you've read DYLMT?, you can know why they live on a boat in the end notes.
Enjoy reading this!
~~~~~
Marcy Wu rarely gets bored. She always has a lot on her plate. The political paperwork as Queen Olivia’s Chief Advisor, the numerous research, reports, and discoveries of all that has yet to be learned in Amphibia, the metaphorical and literal weight as one of Amphibia’s protectors, and her simple job as an inventor/builder in Wartwood kept her very busy.
But here, sitting at her desk with a report, she can’t help but feel… just a little bored.
“I need a break,” she mutters, pushing herself away from her desk. She leaves the room that was her study, walking down a hall and up a flight of stairs that led to the boat’s deck. She spots Sasha leaning against the boat’s railings and looking over the swamp they were in. Marcy quickly walks up to her and wraps her arms around Sasha’s waist, placing her chin on Sasha’s left shoulder.
“Sasha, I’m bored,” Marcy whines.
“I thought you had some reports you wanted to work on,” her girlfriend says, chuckling and reaching up with her left hand to cup Marcy’s face.
The noirette leans into the touch, mumbling, “That’s what got me bored in the first place.”
“Well, that’s surprising.”
“I know right?” Marcy huffs. “Let’s do something fun.”
“What do you have in mind?”
Marcy thinks for a moment before an idea popped into her head. She tugs Sasha away from the railings and stands in front of her.
“Well,” she starts, wrapping her arms around her partner’s shoulders.
Sasha raises an eyebrow.
“Why don’t we…” she continues, glancing at Sasha’s lips and moving closer to her.
“Why don’t we…?” the blonde asks, moving close as well.
Before their lips could meet, Marcy pulls back and grins at the confused look on her partner’s face.
“Play tag,” she chirps, tapping her finger against the tip of Sasha’s nose. “You’re it.”
The noirette quickly turns and leaves, jumping overboard and giggling as she hears Sasha splutter her name behind her. She activates her powers just as she hits the swamp’s water, her body disappearing for a moment in the swamp’s depths before popping right back up a few meters away from the boat. Marcy landed on the riverbank, looking back at Sasha staring and smirking at her.
“Oh no,” Marcy whispers under her breath, noticing the determined, competitive pink-red look in Sasha’s eyes. When her girlfriend’s hair flared the same color as her eyes, Marcy couldn’t help the smile on her face despite the trouble she knew she’d be in. And the moment Sasha’s form flickered and blazed and she turned into a ball of flame, Marcy knew she needed to bounce.
With a yelp and Sasha heading straight for her, the raven-haired girl jumped back into the water and teleported away. Marcy’s laughter filled the air as she narrowly avoids Sasha tagging her.
The noirette squeaks in surprise when Sasha does tag her, feeling strong arms wrap around her torso and lips press against her temple.
“Tag,” Sasha whispers before she zips away.
Marcy chases after her and the two continue their little game, tagging one another until they were tied. For the final point, after a quick chase into the woods and rolling down a hill, Marcy ends up on top of Sasha with a grin on her face.
“Tag,” Marcy says. “I win.”
Sasha smiles beneath her and slumps back against the grass. “Yes, you did.”
The noirette chuckles for a moment, falling onto her girlfriend and earning a small grunt. She tucks her head under Sasha’s chin and huffs, getting her breathing back to normal after the adrenaline had worn off.
After a few moments of peace, a few minutes of enjoying one another’s presence, Sasha asks,
“Wanna head back?”
“Mhm.”
Marcy gets up to her feet and pulls the blonde up, both girls stretching their limbs.
“You know,” Sasha starts, “why don’t we make this into a fun little game?”
“What do you mean?”
Marcy turns to look at Sasha, eyes widening as her girlfriend’s irises and hair turn pinkish-red.
“Race you there,” Sasha laughs out loud, quickly changing into a little fireball and zipping away.
“Sasha!” the noirette laughs back, running straight towards the river that led to Wartwood.
Marcy doesn’t mind losing to Sasha. Not at all. Not when the blonde gives her a congratulatory kiss when she arrives back at the boat. Not when they cuddle and chat afterward, content in each other’s arms.
~~~~~
Thanks for making it to the end! :DD
Hope you have an amazing morning, afternoon or evening! :]

This is my contribution to Sasharcy Week hosted by @/jojobearoo!! ^w^
This is set on a road trip around the US, with the girls currently in Oregon. Disclaimer, I have not been to Oregon so I have limited knowledge of what I wrote, but nonetheless, I hope all of you enjoy reading this. :DD
~~~~~
“Ow,” Sasha grumbled as her forehead smacked against the top interior of her and Marcy’s car. Her left hand blindly reached for the top, pushing her body down and forward so that she didn’t risk getting hit again.
Once she’d stepped out of the vehicle, Marcy giggled in front of her, taking hold of her right hand. “Careful, Sashy.”
“I’m the one with the blindfold here, MarMar,” the blonde said and motioned to the fabric wrapped around her eyes. “Shouldn’t you be guiding me?”
“Sorry,” her girlfriend giggled again. The blonde could feel Marcy cup her face and gently tug her closer, pressing a brief kiss onto her forehead. “There, I hope that makes it better.”
Sasha pouted, “A kiss on the lips would work best.”
If her eyes weren’t covered, she’d have given her partner puppy dog eyes to sell the request, but Marcy only laughed and pressed a kiss to her cheek. “Stay still, I gotta get something from the car.”
Sasha did as she was told, asking Marcy some questions as her available senses tried to fill in the blanks for her. The cool breeze, the soft chirps of crickets, the gravel beneath her boots, they could honestly be anywhere in Oregon.
“So, where exactly are we?”
“Can’t say,” Marcy replied and Sasha could pick out the sounds of items being moved around at the back of their car. “It’ll spoil the surprise.”
“Could you at least give me a hint? You could be very vague about it.”
“Nope,” her girlfriend said, popping the ‘p’ and closing and locking their car with an audible click. “You just gotta wait until we get there.”
“We’re walking?”
“Mhm. Just a short distance.”
“I don’t know,” Sasha voiced her concern. As much as she loved Marcy, the noirette tended to walk into walls and with the blonde blinded, anyone would be just as nervous to wonder if Marcy would be a good guide.
“Trust me,” Marcy said, holding Sasha’s hand and squeezing it in comfort. Even if Sasha couldn’t see, she could practically hear he smile in her voice.
“Always.”
“Alright! I have everything with me so come on!”
Before Sasha could react, Marcy quickly pulled her and rushed forward.
“Marcy wai–”
Smack!
“Pole,” Sasha mumbled, wincing at the pain that blossomed in her nose. Knew it.
“That’s a sign actually but sorry!” she laughed out.
Her girlfriend carefully moved her away from the post, looping her free arm around Sasha’s shoulder instead as a means to guide her.
“You okay?”
“And here I thought I wouldn’t get hit again,” Sasha joked. “But yeah, I’m okay. So could you please be careful?”
“I’ll do my best,” her partner said, pressing a kiss to her nose. “One more time, let’s go.”
Being guided this time was a lot easier, with only a few literal bumps along the way. They took about five minutes before Marcy had her stand still, telling her to wait as she sets something up.
Sasha took the time to allow her senses an opportunity to try and tell her a bit of where Marcy had taken her to. The once cool breeze was slightly warmer, the chirps of crickets were replaced by the rustling sound of grass and whatever Marcy was doing, the gravel beneath her were replaced by soil and grass, and in the air, there was a faint hint of something fresh and floral.
“We’re in a flower field aren’t we?” she asked.
She could hear Marcy pause for a moment before resuming her work. “How’d you know?”
“The scent,” she replied. “It’s really nice.”
Her partner chuckled, walking up behind her and placing both hands on either side of Sasha’s head. “Looking at these flowers, I can see why.” She lowered the blonde’s head so that she could carefully remove the blindfold. “Okay, you can open your eyes now.”
And Sasha did.
“Marcy,” she gasped, taking in the beautiful sight that greeted her eyes. Rows upon rows of lavender stretched out before her, purples mixing with rays of yellows and oranges as the early morning sun rose. A mountain stood in the background, eye-catchingly tall despite the distance. “Are we in..?”
“Yup!” Marcy stepped in front of her and held her arms out. “We’re in Lavender Valley!”
She turned to her and grinned, “You said once that lavenders were your favorite, and since it was my turn to surprise you, I thought I’d take you here.”
“This is incredible,” Sasha whispered. “Thank you.”
“You’re wel–”
The blonde doesn’t let her finish, immediately scooping her up by the hips. Marcy squeaked in surprised, legs wrapped around Sasha’s waist and arms wrapped around her shoulders. The taller of the two shifted her hands and placed them under Marcy’s thighs to keep her steady, attacking her face with kisses that left the noirette giggling like a schoolgirl.
“SASHA!!! Hahahahahaha! Stop!”
“Nope,” she uttered, pressing a kiss to her nose. “You.” A kiss to one cheek. “Are.” A kiss to the other. “Amazing.” A kiss over her left eyelid. “You.” A kiss over her right one. “Deserve.” A kiss to one side of her jaw. “Every.” A kiss to the other side. “Kiss.” And a final smooch on the lips.
When Sasha pulled back, she beamed at the flustered look on Marcy’s face, the girl looking away and muttering something under her breath.
“What was that?”
“I-It’s not the only surprise I have in store for you.”
“Oh? What else have you got.”
The shorter girl looked over Sasha’s shoulder and looked away. The blonde glanced behind her, eyes widening. There on the ground was a light green checkered picnic blanket and on it, a few tupperware containers and a basket full of lavenders.
“I thought we could have some breakfast here. And maybe…,” Marcy said, drawing out the last syllable, “you could let me braid your hair with some of the flowers while we relax for a bit. Enjoy this place before we hit the road.”
Sasha placed her girlfriend back on her feet and pressed a kiss to her temple. “Only if you’ll let me braid yours.”
“It’s a deal!”
—--
Sasha sighed and melted under Marcy’s hands weaving and twisting stalks of lavender into her hair, a full belly and the sweet floral scent in the air making her smile like an idiot.
“Done,” the noirette said, humming in appreciation.
Sasha turned to her, dopey smile on her face and whispered, “I love you.”
Marcy smiled at her softly, tucking a few stray strands of golden hair behind Sasha’s ear. The noirette’s free hand looped around the blonde’s neck and pulled her close for a long perfect kiss that left her heart aflutter.
They pulled back, foreheads pressed against each other. Sasha stared into gorgeous honey brown eyes and if she could fall in love with Marcy again, or if she could fall even more in love, it had happened right then and there.
“I love you, too.”
~~~~~
Thanks for making it to the end. I hope you enjoyed! Have a swell morning, afternoon or evening!!!! :3
See y’all tomorrow!

You said that your Trapped fanfic was based on one of your AUs. Was it the Dark Majesty one? If so, what is it about anyway?
Well, I did say that I'll keep the AU a secret, so I won't be saying anything until the plot twists in Trapped have been played out. But Her Dark Majesty doesn't play a part in Trapped. It's not my AU, it actually belongs to my friend @/artistkun. I can see why you might think Trapped is based off of it (if you have read the fic), but Her Dark Majesty is about Marcy as the new queen of Amphibia, and she is corrupt and dark. Sasha stays by her side, either out of fear or love. It's quite a dark concept, so I'm not sure if I want to write it out.

Lady of the Lake
Amphibia fanfic that has supernatural elements.
Sasha's parents own a lodge deep in a forest, settled right in front of a lake rumored to glow a very bright blue during a certain time of the year. The lake is also rumored to house a magical creature in its watery depths.
Sasha invites Marcy to accompany her on a stress-free vacation and Marcy agrees, half of her reason is to get out of the house (her parent's can be pretty overbearing) and the other half is because of her love for myths/folklore/rumor (she wants to see if she can prove it to be true or not).
The rumors of the lake just so happen to be true and the body of water did glow a bright blue (on Anne's birthday) and Sasha and Marcy are met face to face with a freshwater mermaid, which is Anne. :D
Anne understands their language but doesn't necessarily speak it. So Marcy spent the rest of her vacation observing, learning and teaching while Sasha sits in the background. (I don't know if I want angst in this, but being myself, there probably will be).

You said in your reblog that you can't stop thinkin of how you want to write your Trapped AU. Do you have multiple ideas? If so, which ones?
Trapped is actually an ongoing fic loosely based off of TheCrusaderKing's brief concept of a Reverse Cell Dates AU! Since Trapped is a mix of one idea from the RCD AU and one of my own AUs (which will be kept secret), it gets its own name! Three chapters are up and posted on ao3 for almost 2 months now (last update was October). The plot's set in stone and I can't wait to write the rest of the story. Just gotta get out of my writer's block and busy schedule to continue it! 😅

This Elegiac Melody
Amphibia idea here.
Season 3 would definitely be the plot setting for this one, specifically Earth. Instead of Anne singing or composing something related to Sasha and Marcy being trapped in another dimension, I'll have Sprig composing something for Mother's day. He learns of that day when he sees Anne giving Mrs. Boonchuy a gift and he goes out of his way to present her a gift, too. At the end of the day, he sits at Anne's desk and composes something for his mom.

Late night carol
Soft family christmas fic.
The family's favorite holiday is Christmas and one of the family's tradition is caroling around the neighborhood they live in. Unfortunately, one of the kids has to leave elsewhere and hasn't been able to join in family traditions for quite a while. But then, on one special Christmas eve, the family's woken up to the sound of singing and they cheerfully greet the kid. (Woke up a few neighbors, but they didn't mind the noise since they're a close-knit community).

Shakespearian Tutor
Typical high school setting where Person A teaches or helps Person B with all things Shakespeare, because B either 1) hates Shakespeare or 2) fails in a class (whether it be English or History) and has to work with A on Shakespeare to get a passing grade.
But Person A isn’t the cliche straight A’s nerd helping a jock with a barely passing grade, which is Person B. Rather A is a very smart athlete who has to help out B, a nerdy STEM student who sees no point in studying or learning about things they aren’t interested in.
Whether they be platonic or romantic, who knows. :)

Hey, Lynn! So what do you do in your spare time? (Aside from writing fics and schoolwork) Me, I just watch YT or play video games.
I do some garden work if asked by my parents, but I mostly read fanfictions or catch up with the other shows I watch. I play mobile games, too!

You said in one of your prompts that you might do a follow-up where Sasha and Marcy confront Corrupted Anne. Would it still be possible to see that happen?
It will still be happening! :D
Thing is, it's gonna be a full-blown fic instead of a snippet. It'll take a while (weeks most likely), since I'm currently focused on Do You Love Me Too? and Trapped but I'll have you know that an outline's ready and I just need to find the right words to bring it to life. When it's out, I hope it will be worth the wait. :)

I managed to get some writing done, so I present this to all of you. Written for @eeveearoace . Enjoy reading! :D
CW: Violence, Blood, Loss of eye ~~~~~
For most of her life, Sasha’s vowed to protect Anne and Marcy, to keep them safe no matter what. From bullies, from jerks, from creeps, from anyone who would harm them.
But how can she do that now? How can she keep her promise when Marcy stood before them, donning Newtopian armor and a black horned helmet with eleven glowing eyes glaring at them as if they were nothing but pests in this godforsaken battlefield? How can she keep her promise when Anne stood beside her, powers set ablaze, eyes focused on Marcy with the intent to tear her apart, no longer aware that this was her best friend she was up against? How could she keep it when the thing they needed protection from was each other?
She doesn’t know how but she needed to stop them. Once Anne rushed forward, Sasha followed after her, hair and eyes a bright pink, and tackled Anne to the ground, her own Calamity powers allowing her to easily pin the Thai girl.
“Anne, please,” she begged, “snap out of it!”
Her friend snarled at her, struggling to get out of her grasp but Sasha’s hold on her was strong. The blonde tried to talk to her again but her instincts made her pull back, barely dodging the mechanical claw aimed for her face.
She may have avoided a fatal mistake, but she couldn’t have avoided what happened next. She couldn’t have stopped Anne from breaking free and grabbing hold of one of her swords. Couldn’t have stopped her from slashing upwards. Couldn’t have stopped the blade from tearing her eye out.
Sasha screamed.
Her hands flew to her face, one of them pressing down on the left side and staining itself with blood. Her face throbbed with the beat of her heart, the burning pain spanning from her jaw to her hairline. It throbbed harder when Anne shifted underneath her and kicked her in the stomach, sending Sasha a couple of feet away from her.
The blonde dimly heard Anne stand and drag the lieutenant’s sword with her, dimly heard the soft shing of her sword and her friend’s footsteps.
Anne was going to hurt Marcy. Marcy was going to hurt Anne. And Sasha can’t have that, she can’t. She can’t have them hurt each other. So when Anne charged forward, the soldier was quick to wrap her arms around the bluenette’s torso and hold her back.
A deep inhuman growl left Anne as she struggled once more, powers blazing brighter to throw Sasha off, but it didn’t deter the blonde. She lifted an arm up, blue flames burning along the limb.
“Stop,” Sasha said. “D-Don’t do it.”
Anne didn’t listen and shoved her hand into Sasha’s leg, searing through the fabric of her pants and into her skin. She bit back a scream as the fire traveled down her legs and the smell of singed flesh permeated the air.
“Fuck,” she hissed, shoving Anne’s hand off of her leg. She flipped her friend over her shoulder, got out an apology then knocked her out.
“Bold move, Strength,” multiple voices spoke at once, “to knock out the only thing that could possibly stop me.”
Sasha glared at Marcy -- not her, no, she was glaring at that thing controlling Marcy -- and scoffed, “I didn’t knock myself out.”
The blonde took her sword from Anne’s unconscious form and unsheathed the other, raising them both. She rushed forward, ignoring the pain that throbbed with every step her burnt leg took. She did her best to duck and dodge the claws coming her way, swords coming up to slice at them, but one managed to wrap around her left arm and snapped it like a piece of stick, forcing her to drop her weapon and for a gasp to escape her. Sasha severed it with her other sword and freed herself. She hacked and sliced at the oncoming barrage of claws, steadily making her way towards Marcy.
“Your tough, Strength,” the thing controlling Marcy spat, staggering back a little when it saw Sasha burn brighter. Wires flailed behind it, sparks flying off of its ends now that all but one were devoid of claws. “But are you strong enough to save her?”
The remaining claw grabbed her good leg and squeezed hard.
“No,” Sasha grunted but ignored the pain. “I can try, though.”
She grabbed Marcy by the front of her armor and held her there with her broken arm, releasing the sword she held in her good hand and lifting it, fingers curled into a fist.
“I’m sorry for this,” she whispered, then punched the helmet hard, cracks spreading under the pressure. She did it over and over and over again, keen to get the helmet off Marcy, never faltering for a second even when the claw’s grip on her leg wound tighter and tighter, crushing her leg. Once Marcy fell limp in her grasp did she cease, grabbing one of the prongs and tugging the helmet off.
Sasha winced at Marcy’s face, bruised and scraped, one nostril leaking blood. And she whispered another apology underneath her breath. She carefully set her down on the ground, checking her out for any other injuries other than the number she’d done on the noirette’s face.
She sighed in relief when she found none. She stood up straight but hunched over when a burning sensation flared up in her stomach. She staggered back a bit, away from Marcy and threw up, blood and bile leaving a metallic sour taste in her mouth.
She coughed and spat at the ground, body swaying, wheezing and gasping for air, powers flickering on and off. She collapsed, legs crumpling under her weight as soon as the adrenaline wore off, and Sasha had to stop herself from screaming profanities at the feeling of shattered bones pinching mangled flesh.
But it was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was okay, or as okay as it could be. Even if she was badly injured, even if she wouldn’t make it out of this, she’d done it. She’d kept them safe. She’d kept her promise. She’d protected them no matter what.

Not an expert in writing fighting scenes so this is some sort of practice. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this! Have an awesome morning, afternoon or evening. ‘Til the next snippet. :D
